Tom Kenniff represented a friend's son in a complicated and long drawn out case in which he was innocent, but the odds were stacked against him. I was called as a character witness. I was in desperate need of top notch legal counsel and representation, and that's when I found the deservedly top-rated law firm of Raiser & Kenniff.
Mr. Kenniff is, like me, a veteran of the armed forces, having served honorably in wartime Iraq. He is also a former NYC prosecutor who was the GOP's 2021 nominee for the powerful office of Manhattan District Attorney. So Mr. Kenniff had the perfect background and mindset to be of invaluable assistance to my case.
I had never been in such a daunting situation. I survived being victimized by some deranged street lowlife with a criminal record 10 times as long as this review only to be victimized by the NYPD, and the Bronx DA's office. After figuring out what had happened, both rogue institutions became hellbent on seeing me finish my life in some upstate gulag where I would be surrounded 24/7/365 by people as bad or worse than the animal whose sudden violent attack I had successfully fended off. A heavy-hitter like Mr. K was needed to defend me from these enlightened despots.
The DA's office should never have filed charges against me. Besides the rank injustice of such an unnecessary and mean-spirited action, they had no evidence capable of meeting their evidential burden, even though that burden has gotten frighteningly lighter in recent years. Indeed, their only evidence was languishing in a solitary confinement unit on Riker's Island - where he should have been the night we met - and they had nothing but that maniac to go to the grand jury with. But the bitter old saying, "You can indict a ham sandwich" is true, especially in frightened Gotham, so it seemed likely I would still be put through the expense and ordeal of a full-blown criminal trial at some point down the road.
And I surely would have if the assistant DA didn't know who was representing me: the notorious and feared legal gunslingers Raiser & Kenniff! When “the People” noticed who was representing me, they realized they would have many, MANY hours of work ahead of them, and in the end would STILL lose. Thank God I had the great Tom Kenniff in my corner, and that meant there was no point wasting a lot of time and resources trying to railroad me into the clink. Four months after my arraignment, a mealy-mouthed, assistant DA requested the judge dismiss all charges against me. It was all I could do to exit the courtroom without twerking!
If you are in big trouble like I was don't fool around or shop around. Hire these well-known terminators and like me you'll be damned glad you did. :)

This review is way overdue but necessary. On 8/16/20 I was rear ended, so hard that my car projectiled forward despite my foot being solidly on the brake. I hit the Honda Pilot in front despite being a whole car length in front of me. Ms. Michael's assistant who lives in The Bronx accommodated me, and met me with all the necessary documents. She then immediately facilited my treatments and made such a horrible experience bearable. All of my needs were met and my case was resolved expeditiously. I am so happy that I was able to have Ms. Michael's as well as her team handle such a traumatic moment in my life. Ross Kofman responded to my online request for a criminal defense lawyer first and gave me immediate relief when I explained my situation to him. He told me most of the charges were bogus and would easily be dropped. Fortunately after 3 months of being in limbo, going to court dates once a month merely to hear the judge say, I see you've been making your check in appointments, good, come back next month, the case never went to trial and I was informed today that the charges are being dropped at my next court date. Lawyers are not cheap and not so easy to get on the phone after you hire them because sometimes their days are packed as they are always in court, but don't let that put you off from hiring these guys. They got me waived of quite a few bogus felony charges. They do their jobs well. I originally spoke to Ross and thought he would be my lawyer but Brad Leventhal showed up at my first court date and he did an excellent job with the proceedings, encouraging me assuring me that this would pass and it would be okay. These guys were half the price of the original lawyer I went to who wanted 20,000 upfront to cover the whole pretrial and trial. Thosev other guys told me it would be over by Christmas, for that exorbitant fee. Fortunately I went with these guys and only paid 10,000 because there was no trial and here we are right before Christmas getting dismissed. So relieved. Thank you guys. They saved my life any my wallet!! Five Stars!

I am very happy to have chosen Mr. Arshack to represent my son on his criminal charges. My son was involved in an incident where two groups of teenagers got entangled with violence, resulting my son being stabbed with a knife. Well, let me start off by saying Mr Prestia is the best Lawyer I could have asked for, was recommended to him through a family member. As soon as I walked in for the consultation I knew he would be the perfect lawyer to take on my case. He knew and said from the beginning that it would be hard to prove my innocence knowing what they had against me but even with that information he told me he would fight till the end and that is exactly what he did. He did it all quickly too never had a single problem when going into the courtrooms and speaking with the DA he sorted everything out for me all I had to do was tell the DA what happened that day of the incident. We met with the DA once and that first time it didn't go so smoothly they were not going to give me a plea bargain, he told me to not worry and that he would speak with them to try to get me another meeting with them and he did that exactly, ended up speaking with them and ultimately we settled with a plea bargain. no criminal record only a violation. No lawyer I know would have tried to fight this that much and get me another meeting with the DA for a second time what was most likely going to happen was going to trial but Mr Prestia was set on not taking this to trial since it could go 50/50 in favor or not in favor of me. Thankfully in the end it all worked out and the charges were dropped after taking the plea bargain. No criminal record is what he wanted to achieve for me and that's exactly what we got. I really do recommend this lawyer to anyone who is in need of one, Mr Prestia is really understanding. If I ever need a lawyer in the future I'm definitely coming to him first.

I was facing a misdemeanor with the prosecutor asking the judge for 30 days in jail. Most of the statements against me were fabricated by the prosecutors witnesses. My lawyer could not help me. I asked for a continuance and hired Joseph Corrozzo. Even though the case was in upper NY state ,Joseph heard my side and took the case. He hired PI's to investigate my side then started to go to work on the validity of the witnesses against me. Days before my court date he flew up to meet with the prosecutor to go over ALL the evidence that was presented to him and ALL the evidence that contradicts the States case. When he walked out of the prosecutors office he said the State was going to drop all charges based on the information that we now had. This was a complicated case that only if the whole story was told I would have had a chance . Joseph at no point during his time with me ever waivered on my innocence and constantly reassured me that he would make sure i was given a fair chance. His confidence and knowledge of the law was remarkable. No written words could truly describe the work he did.

I am a city employee, in 2014 I was arrested for allegedly committing several felonious non-violent, non- job related criminal offenses. I had to find a lawyer who understood the plight of the average everyday working citizen who was a single parent minority living from paycheck to paycheck. I found him, Steven Questore. Never in my lifetime did I think I would need a lawyer, much less be able to afford one who practices out of the Woolworth Building across the street from City Hall. The moment I reached out to Steven's Law office he returned communication in less than 1 (one) hour. After explaining in detail my situation to him, he assured me that he could help me. Upon my first in person meeting Steven set up a payment plan that allowed me to make affodable monthly payments as he worked on my case. I signed the retainer agreement, he had officially became my lawyer. I met with Steven on several occasions so that we left no stone unturned in my defense, most importantly he believed in my innocence. As I stated I am a city employee and any form of a criminal conviction could have literally ended my career, (I was already placed on administrative duty because of the arrest).
How would I provide for my son, pay for his private school, what would happen to
us if I lost all that I had worked so hard for my entire life? Scared is an understatement to describe how I felt. Steven understood this, he settled my fears and put my mind at ease. Steven worked on my case keeping me updated every step of the way. This went on for almost two years, it was not always good news, postponements, new DA's, new judges, offers to settle made by the prosecution that were just not acceptable. Never the less Steven always assured me "not to worry", he would often say "I'll tell you when you should worry." Fortunately, he never had to state those words to me. Finally, on July 7th 2016 a year and ten months after my arrest Steven Questore got what started out as an attempt at a Felony conviction down to a FULL DISMISSAL by action of the DA's office. YES, a FULL DISMISSAL you read it correctly. I got my life back and more importantly my career as a city employee remains unblemished. I emphatically encourage anyone who is facing what seems like a no - win situation to reach out to Mr. Questore's Law office, his assistants are always available and do an outstanding job of getting your messages to him. There was never a time that I had to lye in wait for Steven to get back to me, he makes you feel like your case is the only one that matters. Bottom line, he cares about who you are as a person and what affect this will have on your life. He sticks with you, no matter how long it takes, Steven understands the plight of being a minority in America and having to go up against the Justice System.
