I was referred to Mr. Joe Gonzales by a law enforcement colleague who had dealt with him several times while working cases at the DA’s office. I was given Mr. Gonzales’s cell number and calling him was the best decision I had ever made. My initial meeting and impression of Mr. Gonzales was that he was a professional and he listened attentively while I explained what had occurred that led up to my arrest and charge. He understood that I could not accept anything but a dismissal or an acquittal or I would lose my career and future goals. He advised me that he would be working with a team that included Mr. Christian Henrickson and that I would be getting two lawyers for the price of one. I struggled emotionally through a year and a half of court dates until the case went to trial. Despite all my fears, Mr. Gonzales and his team reassured me and I knew they believed in my innocence. When Mr. Gonzales goes into “trial mode” it’s amazing. His cross examinations of the prosecution’s witnesses and complainant were direct and strategically effective. The trial was very stressful for me and as we were waiting for the jury to return with their verdict after deliberation I will never forget how terrified I was and how Mr. Gonzales calmingly placed his hand on mine and smiled and said, “Do not lose your faith now.” He was confident until the very end and even when I had feared the worst he believed in my case. The jury came back very quickly with a unanimous decision and acquitted me of the charge. I will never forget what I went through to fight for the truth and I will never forget how hard Mr. Gonzales and his team fought for me. They were amazing and I felt so blessed to have them fighting in my corner. Joe, from the bottom of my heart I want thank you and will never forget what you did. I was very concerned about what attorney would represent me. I wanted and attorney that would they be fair and understanding to my case. I was driving up IH35 and saw a billboard with Joe Gonzales picture and phone number. I decided at this time I would like to schedule a meeting with him to discuss my case. I have never been in trouble with the law in my life. So, when I was charged with multiple class B felonies, it was incredibly stressful. Mr. Churak was able to get me a reasonable bond amount; lower than what I had researched for similar charges. Mr. Churak took care of all my hearings; I did not have to appear in court at all. It took a couple of years, but in the end, he got the case dismissed. I feel the amount he charged was more than reasonable, especially given the outcome. The total was $10,000, and honestly, it was the best money I've ever had to spend. I would definitely place my trust in him and his abilities again should the need ever arise again. It's not easy to decide whose hands you should place your life in when facing serious, potentially life changing criminal charges. I wholeheartedly recommend you seriously consider Mr. Gary Churak should you find yourself in legal jeopardy.

Albert represented me during a difficult time when I was indicted by the U.S. Attorney on Federal Charges. I did not know who he was or had never heard of him. I was referred to him by a friend.
I was facing 6.5 years (78 months) in federal prison, but with Albert's experience, leadership, hard work and dedication to me (the client) I was sentenced to 1.2 years (14 months). After I was arrested I searched for and spoke to numerous lawyers and felt no confidence. I began looking through the"Top 22 Lawyers" list and found the Law Offices of Daniel and Hudson. I spoke with the paralegal Brittany and she had a lawyer call me back within minutes. After speaking with the lawyer, Mr. Halstead (a military Veteran) I was more at ease and knew this was the right lawyer. The up front cost wasn't ridiculous and he was already making a plan on how to move forward. We spoke often at his office answering any questions I had and he also called me to let me know what was going on with my case. My charges were very serious and I was originally looking at a possible 25 years, but with his advice to hold out for a better outcome, it was 8 yrs, then it was just probation then it was dismissed. I owe it to Mr. Halstead for his knowledge of the criminal justice system and knowing when and how to present his case. I was in a big messy divorce and allegations arose of misconduct with my child ( to put it mildly ). After putting money down with a criminal lawyer that I will not name, I saw the beginning of a scary path because the lawyer lacked sufficient experience in these type of cases. Being detained and taken into custody is an extremely traumatic experience. It's during those times that you need an experienced legal team to be by your side in court. For myself it came in the form of a 3 AM stop where I was soon sitting in a patrol car waiting to be transported to the magistrates; by the time I was allowed access to a phone there were only 2 numbers to call: my family to tell them I won't be home for supper and The Locke Law Group. Without going into too much detail about what I was being accused of, my case was a life changing one. I was being accused of one of the worst things human being can be accused of. Just spoke to this law firm, I would not reconnect this law firm. Stay far away. Their first duty is to the court, if a judge tells any one of their lawyers not to wear a certain suit again they will bend over backwards. Their duty is not in the best interest of the child but to the court first! Do not hire this firm, they will not argue your case in court. They will let the judge violate your rights and help them do it. When I heard this from their attorney during the consultation I immediately asked where is the duty to your client and the best interest of the child? She hung up. When a lawyers says their first duty is to the court that means you should run! Don’t be to quick to hire an attorney, look around ask questions because lawyers like these will backstab their clients!
