Marion Moses did a great job for me. Never think that you can handle a court case yourself as you never know what will happen. It appeared that the woman who assaulted me had an officer of law to council for her. Since when did an officer qualify as an attorney? I felt defeated by the local law enforcement until I had Marion Moses defend me. I would recommend him 1000%. If ever I need representation again, Marion Moses is my first and only choice. God bless

I couldn't recommend this law firm more. They helped me win a difficult case that took over 3 years. Craig was always available to answer questions and keep me posted on updates. They are personable and invested in their client's cases. You won't see them advertising on TV, because they don't need to. If I need a lawyer again, and I hope that I don't, I will definitely go there.

This lawyer took on my case 03/2023 and had me sign a contract hiring him and then all of sudden completely ghosted me 10/2023. So I don't know if he settled my case and took the money or what but now I am having to get another lawyer to look into my case, start over, and check to see what this lawyer did. So definitely do not hire this lawyer he is very shady!

Unfortunately, several times throughout my life I've needed a good attorney. The most recent instances were for traffic infractions in SC. David has far exceeded all my expectations. He's extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He's quick to return phone calls and stays in contact regarding your case/situation. He got the first case resolved for a very low court cost and his reasonable fees which was a huge weight off my mind. I hired Mr. Farrell to handle a ticket my daughter (Out of State student at USC) received after she had paid the ticket. She had not realized that paying the ticket is an admission of guilt (neither had I), and would result in her license being suspended in her home state (Georgia). Mr. Farrell had to file to reopen the case (successful) and get the ticketing officer to lower the speed (by more than 8mph) in order for her not to be considered a "super speeder" in her home state and have her license not suspended (a law applicable to only under 21 years of age). Mr. Farrell was very thorough and responsive and professional. He had a very good raport with the presiding judge (over in Aiken County).

Elizabeth Franklin Best is an outstanding attorney. Betsy more than lived up to her qualifications and reputation! I knew from the initial phone call that she was the one.
She was honest and direct. She did not over-promise or confuse us. She listened and explained the options. She developed a strategy and followed it through. Elizabeth was thorough and did the leg work necessary to get my Uncle out of prison after serving 19 years of a 480-month sentence. She kept us informed of the progress and the outcome was Amazing! The motion was granted several weeks later.
Although my Uncle passed days before his release, Betsy was always available to answer questions and provide support and direction for anything else that came along.

My son was sentenced 50 years in SCDC at 19 years old and devastated the whole family, because he never should have been sentenced that harshly. Mrs. Best came to prison and spoke to him and gave him hope and life to fight for an appeal! All he remembers as we continue to fight is Mrs. Elizabeth Franklin-Best! I had talked to several attorneys but when I spoke to Kirk I got goosebumps and knew he was who I wanted to represent me. I had lived in Myrtle Beach for 3years,I was an alcoholic and drug addict, so I made some very terrible decisions. The best one I made was moving back to Virginia, where I got clean,had my son, got my drivers license back and working towards my nursing degree when I found out my past was back to haunt me. I was devastated. These charges had the potential to ruin everything I'd worked for, if im not mistaken they carried potentially 10 years. So I was terrified. But I prayed and prayed and when I got those goosebumps talking to him, I knew it was God telling me, he's your choice. I just can't express how thankful I am to Mr. Truslow and McKenna. They both kept me informed every step of the way. They were both available when I had questions. I like to communicate via text or email, and they responded unbelievably fast, so fast I felt like I was his top priority. The outcome of my case was so much bettr r than I could have imagined. First living out of state Mr. Truslow was at my bond hearing when I turned myself in at the scheduled (arranged by McKenna) time. Thanks to him I got a pr bond and only was in jail a few hours. Next he had an agreement worked out and my case resolved so that i didnt even have to come back to the beach on my court date. I was amazed. McKenna is so awesome. She's just so nice.shes beautiful but is even more beautiful as a person. She seemed to genuinely care when I had concerns or questions. I just have nothing negative to say about either one. We live in a different state and my husband had a run in with a federal case in SC; so needless to say we were clueless on where to turn.
My husband was facing 10 years in Federal prison, and we were so confused and scared!

I heard this attorney for my son I paid $10,000 period 5 weeks later there is no change in his situation. The law firm gives you information tells you they will do things to get him released from jail and they do not deliver all they have are excuses. In my opinion you should not hire this attorney you should seek other counsel.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Suzanne and her paralegal Annie. Suzanne stood her ground about my pre-martial property, when my ex thought he was entitled to half. I have been a client of Chamberlain Law Firm for over seven years! I first came to Margaret in the middle of a custody battle. Prior to meeting with her I tried to handle things on my own and landed myself in a very precarious position. I did not wish to fight with my ex, but simply do what was going to be best for the two young children. My ex had other plans. In hindsight I wish I would have met with her sooner. If you are considering whether you should or shouldn't get an attorney… You need to just come speak with Margaret. She is a wealth of knowledge! I won't bore you with the sob story that was my life. All I can say is Margaret took ALL my mess...and it WAS a mess! She explained very thoroughly what my expectation should be, what I should do, what I should be prepared for.
From the first time that I walked into Margaret Chamberlain's office and met Deanne and Kathy I felt cared for. I felt like they understood my goal was to protect my children and not to hurt someone else. 2016 was a very tough year for my family. My step daughters mother made some significant changes in her life that would have taken an A student out of an excellent school, 400 miles away from everything she knew and loved. Including friends and family, moving her the unknown with a new stepfather that was not out for her well being. We were terrified for what her future was to hold. We were scare, angry, very upset... anxious. Margaret and her staff felt like family, they understood how and why we felt what we felt. And we felt their concerns for our daughter as well. They understood this was our world right now and we just needed the safety of this child to be put first and foremost.
Deanne and Kathy were always sure to understand any concern when we contacted the office whether via email or phone so as to relay to Ms. Chamberlain in the best to their ability for her to get back to us with an answer promptly.
My step daughter had a change in custody to her father - temporary custody end of summer 2016. Father got sole custody mid summer 2017. Both very unusual results.

I was referred to the Finkel Law Firm, specifically Dylan Glick by the SC Lawyer Referral Service. I was scheduled with an appointment for 10/3/24 @ 9am which was a 3 week wait. I called at 9:05 am since no one had contacted me. I was told I was Mr. Glick was tied up on another call, then I was told Mr. Glick does not have me on his schedule. I was put on hold yet again and another person came on telling me my appointment was at 2pm and she never schedules consults for early morning! I'm not really certain why I was treated this way; however, it's absolutely unacceptable. I did reach back out to the SC Lawyer Referral Service to file a complaint and also to find a different attorney for my specific need!
