Last year, I came here in Avvo and cried for help with an impossible i601 waiver. Mr.Cavanaugh answered my question and told me he could help my brother out.
Five lawyers told me my brother would get deported. My brother also told me he wanted to give up. When I was on the phone with him
I told him my brother wanted to give up and move back to Haiti. He told me to tell my brother to hold on. I will see what I can do. Yesterday, when I received the approval, I screamed. It was impossible after nine years of fighting. God and Mr. Cavanaugh did it for my brother.

Sure, we could have done this on our own but-
it would have taken twice the time, a great deal of research and many headaches. Don't waste your time, energy and money doing this alone. We are ecstatic now building our lives together instead of endless waiting without hope and good guidance. We had worked with another firm in our hometown that dropped us as a client. Facing a looming deadline, we started a consultation with Ms. Winston's firm. We became clients and worked through the remaining actions and applications over the course of the next four years. The gentle and thorough interactions we had with the firm eased much of the tension in our process. They were there every step of the way. If we had questions or needed time with staff, they were always available to us. Most questions were resolved quickly via email or a quick call. Expectations were set and met. If a deadline looked like it might slip, we were told upfront. When we required additional services not covered by the fee, they explained the requirements for the services and relayed the estimated fees. Our experience with Ms. Winston and her staff empowered us in a way that should be the standard.

My wife and I worked with John Gihon for 2 years and we truly wish we would have found him earlier. We spent 3 years with 3 other lawyers and our case was becoming hopeless. The last attorney referred us to Mr Gihon and it was the best thing that could have happened.
He and his staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. We dealt with Laura for some of the aspects of our process and her communication is superb.
Mr Gihon made our imigration case very easy to understand and was patient to help us along the way. Having him represent me in imigration court gave me a lot of confidence. He gave me the proper coaching before the court date and made sure I was fully prepared. Our case is finally closed!

I had bad problems with my restaurant manager because he was too soft in its ways to screw employees and it happened thefts, cleaning done wrong, hours counted or improperly counted too, documents not filed in due time, fines, etc. . a real mess. I appealed to Mr. Francis M. Boyer who advised me, put the director on the right path, ask me to close the restaurant for two days to clean all up, what i did. He is a great guy and a very good lawyer. I recommend him eyes closed. Now, my director took the control of the restaurant with more confidence, employees are ok, all is in its due place, invoices are paid in time, documents filled in due time too because Mr Boyer have a look on it. My restaurant runs right and i enjoy it.

Ms. Benjamin helped me get a DUI case dismissed. I had no idea of my rights and basically give up so much by thinking the arresting officer was my “friend”. I know in cases of wrongful stopping and even arresting without probable cause is a violation and may have been avoided had I known Ms. Benjamin before.
After reviewing my discovery, my below the limit blood alcohol levels and incorrect arresting procedures, my case was dismissed. I’m happy to have that part of my life behind me with.
Thank you Ms. Benjamin it was a long and scary ordeal faced with uncertainty, but your truthful and positive outlook gave me the confidence to live before the verdict and certainly enjoy the freedom of not having this unfortunate incident on my records.

I was wrongly prosecuted by a local police department and faced serious criminal charges. I was referred by a close friend of mine to Ms. Bilbao. Although her specialty is Immigration law doesn’t mean she isn’t willing to help those in need, whatever the circumstances. Once she was able to obtain copy of the police report and she quickly realized I was wrongly arrested. Ms. Bilbao wasted no time to reach about to state and explained how I did not break the law. Throughout the whole process she was extremely responsive whenever I had questions or concerns. She was able to get the charges dismissed before my arraignment date. I cannot recommend Vilerka enough, she is the best.
