Susan Ford helped me prepare for a small claims case (where I represented my company) for a customer that sued us for nearly $5,000. Before hiring Susan I had checked with two other lawyers but I did not feel confident. Susan helped with both the mediation and the final court hearing. I found NW Legacy Law after an extensive search across many Portland area law firms to handle my estate planning requirements. Jonathan helped me and my husband during the naturalization process. He walked us through each step and answered every question and concerns we had. Everything was easy and quick, we got our citizenship as short as 4 months. Even though I was nervous about the interview he put me at ease. When we began the immigration process we were a bit overwhelmed by the many steps and procedures involved. As a result we sought legal advice and began a lawyer search that led us to Jon. We needed someone with a thorough understanding of immigration law, and we hoped for someone passionate about helping people. We found both in Jon and his law firm. He walked us through each step of the process and touched base with us periodically to answer any questions or concerns we had. We consulted Peter to understand the implications of DECR vs dismissal and implications for immigration. He was able to steer our lawyer towards a civil compromise and we had no issues with immigration. In contrast another lawyer we spoke to made it seem like it was hopeless and we would face dire consequences etc etc but Peter was honest and clear in his assessment and gave us all possible scenarios. He also appreciated that we had done our research.

I've worked with Shawa Mu for 20 years and in that time I can clearly say that she is efficient, professional, very knowledgable and experienced. The last point is extremely valuable to me as she has provided guidance and knowledge when no other lawyers/consultants have. For example, we had a case regarding a H1B visa and she knew every single detail to know about H1B visas. She told us what to do, what to expect, and everything worked out exactly as she said it would. My husband chooses Ida Keir Law for my immigration visa and it has totally been a blessing. We start our document preparation in January 2020, sent out our docs in February so the whole process is very efficient and clear. There are too many good things to say about our experience working with Ida! For a very reasonable rate, she made our green card application process so much smoother and faster--we realized how many small errors we would have committed if we had done the process on our own, which would have made it take AT LEAST as twice as long to complete, as happened to friends of ours who started two years before us. Even though we were on the other side of the world, Ida was accommodating about scheduling times that worked well for us. She was very patient with our multitude of questions and a pleasure to work with in every interaction over our video and phone calls!

After using Rapid Visa to obtain a removal of conditions for my husband (who is from Costa Rica), we received an RFE. We were extremely concerned, so we contracted Grace to help us with the process. Diane has never rushed me or treated me like a number or a dollar figure. She always takes her time to listen to what I have to say, how I feel, then easily helps me with paper work or issues I may have. First Ill start by saying english is my second language and legal dictionary never been in my english studies. After saying that I would like to tell how William is patient and so smart in explaining legal issues in easy terms without changing the original meaning. He always explained to me all the pros and cons for any action he would take after having discussions of the matter. I cosulted him for an accident I did before, many immigration issues. And lately he is the lawyer of my dad who is visiting the states and got hit by a car in CA. He got a 24/7 arabic translator in case the clients are more comfortable to speak in arabic. Angelika and I hired Courtney to review our documents after we filled them out. It was great peace of mind to have her check over the information we filled out, as those forms can be quite confusing. We submitted the paper work and had no problems in the process with USCIS. We feel that she went above and beyond with the service she provided for us. Not only did she do a good job at what we hired her for, she also made herself available if we had any questions after we submitted the papers. It was great knowing that anytime we had any questions, she would promptly get back to us. She was even able to send us Angelika's Bio metric appointment form when it didn't get delivered to our address. Courtney really does care about the work that she does. I initially contacted Courtney for what I thought would be a brief consult, but ended up hiring her as my attorney. My husband had petitioned me as his wife to get an adjustment of status for residency. Unfortunately, we separated before our interivew due to infidelity, but still wanted to go through with the petition. After consulting with several attorneys, I thought my only option would be to pretend we were still together and we were both extremely worried because we were not comfortable committing perjury especially considering we had a bonafide marriage. Courtney obviously advised us not to lie and brought to our attention the potential of a different avenue to still get an approval for our petition. I went ahead and hired her, she did research about the details of my potential case. Upon her findings, she guided me through the process I would be going through and helped draft a letter to bring to immigration the day of my interview referencing Matter of Boromand among others, asking immigration to approve my petition on the basis that my marriage was bonafide at its inception. At first, I was very fearful since no attorney for 8 months of consults brought this potential alternative to light. However, Courtney knowledge of the law, sources, and guidance through this process gave me a hope I never had before. She also helped me gather and reviewed my evidence, and even offered emotional support in this process and even made an effort to get me an attorney to show up with me to the interview (she resides in Idaho and I reside in California). This was to no avail since my interview was scheduled about 2 weeks after our first consult phone call, but she assured me I would be okay. She was right. This week, my petition was approved without much contest from my immigration officer. I would definitely recommend Courtney as an attorney.
