because her firm National Capital Legal Services works unprofessionally. In October 2022, I signed a contract with lawyer Elizabeth Krukova. In two years, the lawyer filed only one form i-589. The lawyer did not take any action to ensure that my case got into the court system.

My parents worked with Ms. Partovi to help with their citizenship application. We cannot describe how grateful we are to Ms. Partovi for her excellent representation of the cases. From the very first communication that we had with Ms. Partovi we were impressed by her responsiveness and clarity in her communications. She carefully listened to my parents and made every effort to understand the cases patiently and asked several important questions. Then, she clearly explained every single step that we needed to take with her help to make sure the process moves forward flawlessly. In addition, she clearly provided details of her legal fees and billing structure. She also, later in the process, worked with us on a payment plan that made the journey even more manageable. Amazing, hard working, highly knowledgeable team.
I hired them to issue a Green Card for my mother-in-law. During the process there were the problem with the incorrect documents issued by the other country and rejected by US visa center. Neither of the parties can give any guidance on how to proceed and the case was stuck for almost a year. Elizabeth and her team were with us all the time and researched different approaches and ways to move it from the dead point. We were ready to abandon all the hope after 2+ years of trying but eventually it worked out after multiple attempts and help from the lawyers. Many thanks!!!

She was my attorney in adultery case two years ago. What she was cared to make money not to win the case. She made very bad mistake with separation date. My ex took the 5th. She asked me to go to Court with her. She said I should feel the cour atmosphere. When we got to court, she immediately introduced me to the judge and put me on the stand being questioned without any preparation. She used me because she was not prepared.He got his fifth. She asked me to give return taxes for five years. What a waste of time it was. I had doubts whether she looked into them.She overcharged me for every meeting and everything she was doing.She was rude,often burst screaming when questioned her actions/approached and threatened to leave the case.She supposed to send certified and regular letters.After three weeks not getting respond from the recipient I asked for receipt with tracking number. She got very angry screaming,if I don’t trust her she can’t defend me anymore.She never send those letters, she lied. For the Deposition most questions I prepared she had no time and asked for.There was the most humiliating time for me.My ex was sarcastic to her the most of the time and lied and she had solid evidence he did.when she started negotiations with his lawyer how much money I have to give back to my ex for spousal support he paid me and for all bills he paid for house. I not supposed to return any money to him, I found out later. I left her after that.

Wow... This is in response to the post from Victoria. I usually do not write reviews but I am completely appalled and disagree with those statements. I am completely blown away by her review. If this was her opinion, why did she continue to retain his services? If they were what she believed to be "In Effective" why didn't she look for other advice?
Contrary to her experience, mine has been nothing but professional! I have been working with Mr. Wilson since 2008. He represented me in the past with a car accident and it was resolved fairly fast and I believe that if had I not retained him as my attorney, my settlement would not have been as substantial.
I am currently working with him to dissolve my marriage. It has been such a pleasure working with Mayo. This is a difficult time for me, going through such a horrible divorce as a single mother of two and Mayo has been sure to answer my legal questions even when its past business hours.
I believe that Mayo Wilson is a wonderful attorney. I trust him and recommend him to all of my friends and Co- Workers as he does not just care about getting paid, he cares about the outcome and puts your best interest first. He is very reliable and dependable and I will continue to retain him for all future legal needs and advice.

Mayo Wilson is by far one of the worst lawyers in all of Northern Virginia. He represented me during a custody hearing where he refused to conduct Discovery properly and he refused to present evidence (that I gathered) to Judge Mann that supported my testimony. My ex, George Holder, had a standoff with the City of Alexandria Police, poured gasoline on himself and threatened to set himself on fire, had a protective order against him from a previous relationship, lied about abusing me, testified that he put me out of the house naked and pregnant one night, and was still able to win sole physical and legal custody of my babies.. I testified to those facts and also testified that George abused me. Judge Mann accused me of lying because Mayo REFUSED to present the evidence. He WOULD NOT request the mental health records for George. He REFUSED to request a Guardian Ad Litem and he basically overcharged me for doing NOTHING! Mayo was highly inefficient and spent most of his time judging me for being in an abusive relationship.
He could care less about his clients and didn't even bother consoling me after I lost in court on September 19, 2012. He is lazy and knows nothing about the law - other than how to rack up fees to overcharge his clients. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! You will be wasting your money and putting your future and the lives of your children in jeopardy!
By the way, the one review posted above mine was written by him. So pathetic!

First let me start by saying this lawyer comes across charismatic but in my opinion, one requires an assertive lawyer not a charismatic lawyer. I found an ad on Instagram in which you put in information about your case, and you would receive an estimate of what you case is worth. That information never appears but you get a call from Alavi. Deception at its best but it brought me to an attorney so I went with it. I communicated with attorney Alavi, told him my issues and he said he would be able to assist. He immediately sent the retainment contract and release forms. That phone call and signing the retainer were the fastest acts that occurred throughout the duration of having hired attorney Alavi. Long story short, my cases sat with attorney Alavi and his paralegal for three months plus. All legal issues have a statue of limitation, I had already lost approximately 8 months due to being treated from my injuries. I ended up switching to another attorney. Truly an unsavory experience, especially while managing health issues as the result of the injuries sustained to which is why I required a lawyer in the first place.
