I highly recommend attorney Donald Norton and his amazing team to everyone . They were very professional, they were always in touch with me in a difficult time after my son’s injury . They respond to phone calls and emails immediately.My case wasn’t easy because the witnesses didn’t want to cooperate ,we had to fight with 2 big insurance companies ,but the attorney won the case anyways . We had his support and his amazing assistant Kristen from the beginning to the end . My 7 years old son felt safe and supported by the team after the injury . The service of this law firm is simply amazing. I had to use this office to get the new roof for my house just because the insurance deny my claim. But finally, they got it. Mr. Scott (lawyer) is a great professional and Bryan (office assistant) is a great great person. But Ia have to mention somebody who is special in this case too, he is José. Why José? Because he was the person in charge to receive many calls from me to get the status of my case. He is very polite, professional, fast and responsible person that I have to give many many credits of the service. So, this team is highly recommended. I only met them by phone, but I really feel the necessity to give them a big hug personally.

Ian Schatzman accepted our case regarding an insurance claim with our insurer when other firms wouldn’t take it. After our claims were denied, we needed to reroof to prevent further damage. Ian worked out an expedited plan to document the damage in a manner that would support his case, while adhering to our reroofing timing.
He communicated clearly, responded promptly and thoroughly, and shepherded us through the lawsuit process. His fees were very fair for a job very well done. Without his efforts, we would have received almost nothing for the damages we incurred. He was able to negotiate an acceptable outcome.
I recommend Ian and his firm most highly and would certainly seek his input for any future legal matters.

My case isn't resolved yet, but I feel I can rate Mr. Steve Jessup based on his performance as my attorney thus far. He is an intelligent, competent attorney in the area of disability and benefits laws. I like that he's honest and aggressive in managing my case. No other attorneys I consulted showed a fraction of his passion and work ethic. He promptly returns messages and communicates with me regularly. His legal and practical advice has been sound. When Mr Jessup got involved in my case against Lincoln, things turned around dramatically! The former attorney had accomplished nothing in well over a year. I am so grateful to Rachel Alters and her staff for helping me with my uncle's claim! She was amazing. This was a very difficult case, because my uncle was mentally disabled. He had failed to immediately make a claim, because he was too disabled to even do the simplest of tasks. As soon as I found out about my uncle's disability policy, I called several attorneys. They were hesitant to work with my uncle, because of the extensive work involved with backdating his claim. I then called Dell and Schaefer and it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made. They patched me through to Rachel Alters and the rest is history.
She worked diligently to backdate my uncle's claim and to secure his rights to future disability payments. We still have a long road ahead of us with regards to my uncle's disability, but I am so grateful to her for securing his right to disability payments. We will be able to use this money to make sure that he gets the health care that he needs.
Disability insurance is a complex business. As an attorney myself, I can tell you that when it comes to disability insurance, you really need somebody in your corner to make sure that your rights are protected. There is nobody that I would rather have in my corner than Rachel Alters.

I came to Dell and Schaefer after an attorney firm in Maryland decided in August they could not win my case and dropped me, with my appeal for Long Term Disability due in mid October. I contacted Dell and Schaefer in a panic from an ad I found on the Internet, I got a call very quickly, we talked about my case and at that time I was informed that Rachel Alters would be handling my case, I got a phone call from Rachel, she made me feel at ease right away, and asked me to send all my medical information I had to the firm. Rachel explained to me it normally takes 4-6 months to do an appeal, but Rachel assured me she would do her very best to win with the limited time we had remaining to submit an appeal. Rachel worked very hard, we had many very long phone calls and emails, even though I have never met Rachel face to face I feel she is part of the family. I got a call from Rachel the beginning of December letting me know we won the case and that Aetna would be reinstating my benefits back to April when they had stopped benefits. I had just came home from Johns Hopkins Hospital from back surgery, and it was Christmas time, what a special feeling that phone call bought. There is nothing more I could ask for. Winning an appeal for LTD would not have been possible with out Attorney Rachel Alters and legal Assistant Kathleen Bordes and the staff at Dell & Schaefer.

I would recommend Rachel Alters to anyone who is fighting to get there LTD. Rachel, was the person on the other end of the phone who listened to my concerns and my feelings. Rachel listened and help me to understand that this is why she was there, she would work hard to get my Long Term Disability reinstated, which Aetna, stopped after twenty four months.

When I filed a homeowner’s insurance claim, the insurance company accepted responsibility. It also invoked its right to repair so that the insurer could hire its own contractors whom I didn’t know. That’s when the problems really began. After four months of delays the insurance company’s engineer finally provided the report and plans necessary for a permit. After more delays, the insurance company agreed to just pay a lump sum to settle the claim since it had done such a poor job of handling it. Before paying they demanded that I sign a release. I was uncomfortable so I asked Marc Ben Ezra of Florida Professional Law Group to review the release.
Marc immediately told me there were numerous problems with the release and advised me not to sign. He also asked me to send him the insurance company’s estimate of the claim. He instantly noted numerous items that the estimate either omitted or significantly underestimated. Marc vigorously and professionally explained the problems to the insurer and contested the estimate. His work exceeded all of my expectations.
Marc’s work nearly quadrupled the payout of the claim. He also dealt honestly with the insurance company. In one instance, he overestimated the cost of baseboard. When he realized the error, he immediately informed the insurance company. The insurance company knew he was tough and credible and that his firm would be able to fight them in court if I was not treated fairly. I highly recommend Marc Ben Ezra and Florida Professional Law Group if you need help with an insurance claim. His honest, professional nature will surely make you glad that you did.
