It has been my pleasure to have Jonathan Feigenbaum represent me in my ERISA case against my Disability Insurer. I came across a recommendation for Jonathan in what up to then been a fruitless search for a recommended ERISA lawyer with experience in cases involving Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (often referred to as ME/CFS) & Fibromyalgia I called him immediately, and even though he was out of state on another case, he personally answered my call. I was immediately won over by his understanding, knowledge about ME and the challenges of winning disability cases for ME patients. Of course, it didn’t hurt that he had recently won a similar case, and had a good record of wins in ERISA cases.
I have absolutely no regrets in choosing Jonthan Feigenbaum as my lawyer in this case. I cannot find fault in Jonathan’s expert representation of my case. His expansive knowledge of the case law concerning M.E. & Fibromyalgia ERISA claims, his excellent skills in concise, well-developed and supported legal briefs that were not only effective but also a pleasure to read were very impressive. I especially enjoyed Jonathan’s astute retorts in response to the defendant’s logical fallacies and spurious arguments. Frequently, the state of my health made it difficult for me to comprehend the process and substance of my case, and I struggled in my effort to provide Jonathan with the information and decision- making required to proceed with my case. Jonathan was very patient; he took the time to explain relevant law and legal precedents, the workings of our court system under ERISA law, as well as the significance and implications of decisions he needed me to make along the way.
I particularly appreciate those occasions when my neurological symptoms were less severe, and I was better able to work with Jonathan discussing legal strategy, reviewing briefs he wrote, and just talking about issues of common interest unrelated to my case. His willingness to consider my perspective and suggestions, and the level of collaboration he encouraged when I was up for it, shored up my sense of self- efficacy and intellectual competence, something that is hard to come by when one is suffering from a neuro-immune disorder that interferes with a myriad of neurological and physical functions. Jonathan was always respectful, supportive, and compassionate, and I am grateful that I had the luck of having him as my lawyer.
My case took about seven years, ending with the Federal Appeals Court final ruling. During that time, Jonathan worked my case with vigilance, commitment and with his full professional abilities and knowledge right to the very end. Couple of months after I submitted my case to the USCIS. I have gotten into a car accident. Since my licenses were international I got into serious troubles and was facing a potential jail time & possible compromise of my immigration case. My Lawyer (Valarie) at that time; when she heard the news, she took over that case absolutely no charge and went to court with my twice! Eventually, she got the case dismissed and my immigration case was approved on time. I would recommend that compassion and professionalism to everyone I know.

I highly recommend Peter Winters if you find yourself in need of a lawyer. He has a wealth of experience and a no nonsense, practical approach to resolving court issues. Jim represented my sister in an automobile accident case. She was taking a left turn at an intersection with traffic lights. The traffic light was green in her direction but the left turn green arrow had just turned off. A car coming from the opposite direction at excessive speed, struck my sister's car. The driver in that car claimed the accident was her fault since she was taking a left and should have yielded right of way. He wanted to bring suit, but Jim, working long hours and diligently, worked out a settlement, which was of significant benefit and relief to my sister. I recently wrapped up my case with Attorney Weigand. Two years ago I was in an auto accident. This happened while I was working. As you can imagine: I was not only devastated by being out of work and on workers comp; but, I was also seriously injured. I ended up needing a surgical procedure on my neck. Blair, not only, took care of the accident with my car; he also handled the workers comp part, as well. He is an attorney that truly cares about his clients welfare and more importantly than that; their well-being. I don't believe I ever went into his office for an appointment that he didn't inquire about my neck and my health status. He truly cares and he is super knowledgeable when it comes to handling these "NASTY" insurance companies. Blair did an awesome job! I was in an auto accident and suffered a mild back injury. He explained everything to me so I could understand the process and all my options. Since I wasn't completely out of commission and pretty much able to get around I wasn't expecting to get much knowing how insurance companies don't want to pay out. I will say you need to be patient and let things take their course but it will be worth it. At our last meeting he showed me a document of the final outcome. At first I thought there must have been a misprint on the line that showed the amount that I was getting. However, Blair assured me the figure was in fact correct. Let’s just say it was literally three times what I was expecting. Blair knows what he's doing and hit the ball out of the park!
I highly recommend him and if I ever need a legal resource again I know where I'm going.

I contacted attorney Blair Weigand in 2014 after I was badly burned from a tanning bed incident. I had bad burns on the right side of my face and body. It was absolutely miserable. He immediately met with me and discussed all avenues. He had me set up with a dermatologist and kept in contact with me to see how I healed. I have used Dina for two separate RE transactions both very complicated in nature. The first was a commercial land lease with unique environmental, zoning, and planning restrictions and it also involved a business transaction/ contract between two close friends.
