I am glad I went to PDX Law Group and worked with David Richardson, who helped me understand how to navigate this system without getting taken advantage of, prioritized my care and well being, and was clear and consistent with all communication. Not only that, but he advocated on my behalf when the insurance company tried to nickel and dime what they should pay for my treatment and called them out when they would back pedal on their word. Had I not worked with them, I likely would have wound up accepting an unfair settlement. Cannot recommend them enough!

I had been been in car accident where the driver was under insured and I had to make claim against my uninsured motorist coverage. My insurance company started jerking me around with unnecessary treatments and less than recommended treatments that were not helping me until my pip coverage ran out then tried to deny my claim all together. That is when I obtained the services of Mr. Clay MacCaslin. He took over and helped me navigate my way through doctors appointments, depositions and taking my insurance company to court. During Vacationing in Las Vegas, my Wife Suffered a Stroke.. Fortunately she pulled through and was able to start a couple of different rehabilitation program.. Unfortunately she was unable to go back to work, however we were very grateful that she had been paying for many years for a supplement Long-Term Disability Insurance... After her regular work benefits ran out.. The Long-Term Disability Insurance kicked in.. However after just 4 months we received in the mail a letter of denial for benefits.. And our ONLY option was to Appeal the decision.... That is when we Hired Nick Gower,,, Nick spent extensive time researching and working on his appeal letter for us... We couldn't be happier... When he got the Insurance company to giving us a second chance with a Independent Medical Examiner,,, we were so happy.. after we finished with the IME .. We just waited to see what would happen.. She helped me from afar with an insurance policy that should not have been cancelled without my notice after my mother had suddenly passed it was an insurance policy for a vehicle. My family was in a car accident last Summer. My husband, my son, and I were injured. Nothing major that required hospitalization or surgery, but enough to cause significant pain. Because the damage to our vehicle was minor,we had a hard time finding an attorney to help. We were hit by an uninsured motorist, and Oregon's PIP laws were difficult for us to manage. Eric & staff spent the necessary time explaining my options, these law suits take time & money. If I hadn't had them working on my behalf, I'd have never understood how complicated a process it is for a laymen.
They filed all the paper work, they handled everything timely & educated me along the way. Eric spent the firms money on operating costs. I kept a log of all my out of pocket expenses & tallied all medical costs which, thanks to Eric & his staff, was reimbursed when we 'settled'.
Eric Tait is a family man who values his clients. He listens, reacts with expert knowledge in his field of expertise. More importantly, I trust him to be fair. My outcome was as good as we could have hoped for.
Personal injuries from an accident are emotional, painful, & never have a simple recovery or solution.
My only regret is that I didn't see him sooner!
