After going through my divorce, and being put into a position where I had to go back to court, I decided change attorney’s. I interviewed several attorney’s all over San Diego. My wife and I have been working with her oldest brother (85 yrs old) to help him with a Will and a Living Trust. For the past 3 years we have traveled from our home in Durand Mi. to San Diego to provide him with advice and provide any help he may need to get everything right. The more we worked the more complicated and confusing this procedure became, OMG were we Stumped. This year we decided we needed professional help. So, what do you do when your 2000 miles away and don't really know anybody in a big city like San Diego, GOOGLE IT! That's exactly what we did and came up with a bunch of names of attorneys that claim to be the best anywhere. We started making calls to see who we liked the best and would be able to take care of our issues. We left voice mails and asked to have someone contact us to set up a meeting. We encountered a few who were vague and after listening to what we needed really didn’t seem too interested. Then Jason, called us and we were so happy with his attitude and wiliness to complete the needed documents on a very short notice. Everyone in that firm seemed to want to help us get everything right, signed, and registered they even worked through the weekend. Joshua Fabian is amazing! Although pricey, going with him and Boyd Law was a great decision for me. My case was a little smaller, but he never made me feel like it wasn't worth it. If there was ever a miscommunication through email (due to me having to move out of state suddenly, this was our main source of communication) he made sure to give me a call and explain things. He is a busy man (as the good lawyers normally are), but he always made sure he was able to give me the time of day especially when I felt uneasy. I'm very happy with the outcome of my case so far, and think you guys will be too!

Su represented me as my defense in an extremely difficult and high stakes 2.5-year case that ended in trial. Plaintiff, plaintiffs counsel and plaintiffs peers conspired to embellish and fabricate “new facts” for a favorable outcome and Su was able to expose Plaintiffs embellishments and craft an impressive argument around conduct and credibility that ultimately won over the jury with $0 granted to the plaintiff! On top of this, Su took my case extremely personally as if it was her being sued personally taking on a full office of plaintiffs counsel seemingly with ease. I would now consider a good friend and feel sorry for anyone with the misfortune of competing against her in the future.

My long term disability benefits were cut off when my neurosurgeon signed a statement prepared by the insurance company stating that I was able to return to work. Barbara Casino and Jack Stennett sent me to an occupational therapist and then used her functional capacity evaluation to convince the neurosurgeon and the judge that I was not able to return to work. Blowing through the smoke and mirrors of the insurance company’s attorneys and sham “medical experts,” Barbara and Jack won complete restitution of my disability benefits.

There is so much I have to say about this lawyer. I will try and keep it short and say, if you are in a situation like I was, dealing with a LTD Disability case and are looking for someone who will work hard, care, fight and never leave you hanging, not knowing what is going on at anytime in your case. Then look no further, stop right here and call this Attorney! Jack (John) Stennett. He won my case, which was not easy against M of O. He fought hard for me and won! There is one thing that meant the most to me about this man. Well a few things but I have to say, when ever I called upset, nervous, or anything. If he was there he took my call. If he wasn't there, he would always call me back right away.
This is a quality you do not find with many lawyers.

Unfortunately I had 2 larger life "occurrences" happen within the same year. I had started working with another lawyer on the first one and was referred to Christian and Tim for the other. They did such a great job that I ended up having them handle the other case for me as well. They are both extremely professional yet remain completely human. They always take my calls or get back to me within the same day. Strong, consistent, honest and accurate communication with your lawyer is so important as legal matters are often stressful.
