We really needed an attorney who could adequately, thoroughly, and intently review our case to evaluate our response and our opponents allegations. If you want a good loyal honest attorney Nigel Malden is the man for you. My husband and I had a case that we needed an attorney fast. I did not know where to turn so I went to the telephone book.. I called Attorney Nigel Malden's office. His Legal assistant is a very kind, warm and friendly lady. I explained what our case was about his legal assistant informed me to send the documents that I had regarding myself and husband's case, and she would discuss it with Attorney Malden. After submitting the documents requested it was within two days we got a response from Mr. Malden's office to inform us that he would represent us. We had a meeting at his office and the very first time that my husband and myself met Mr. Malden and his legal assistant. We felt like we had known them a long time because they both have a warm friendly way of making you feel very comfortable. After Mr. Malden finished reviewing our documents he told us the pros and cons of what could possibly be the outcome of our case. Mr. Malden detailed with us how he would present our case before the Court. Mr. Malden gave us advice how we should act and respond to questions that were asked of us by the Judge himself or the opposite party's attorney. He kept us focused on what was important and the things that were not, he advised us accordingly. Talbot refused to take my case when Ben was under him. Ben saw my case and called me 3 days later and he took my case and won. I was a scared 21 year old and he made me feel okay with the whole process. He told me from day 1 that the insurance had 3 years before court and it would take them almost 3 years to agree to settle. He was honest and compassionate. I would hire him again if I ever needed his help.

I am a homeowner who was sued by a neighbor who filed a "spite" lawsuit against me. Joe successfully defended me against "over-the-top" allegations, by skillfully & methodically debunking the claims. He persistently unraveled the plaintiff's legal maneuvering to attempt to construct a case out of fabrications. To do that, Joe used thoughtful strategy in his presentation of the actual facts of the case, and continually maintained a low-key, articulate professionalism that was very effective. It was obvious in the courtroom that he was respected by the judges who heard various portions of the case. Joe has a high standard of principled ethics that enable him to provide excellent representation. This lawsuit dragged on for over 3 years, & yet my stress level was minimal because I was extremely confident of Joe's abilities to bring about a favorable resolution in my defense. He did not let me down. Mr. Gerrit was very responsive to our needs, and often made phone contact personally rather than through a secretary or clerk. His initial knowledge was good, but also researched our issue thoroughly enough to become very familiar with the more minor nuances. We have used his services a few times over the years, and in each instance his work on our behalf rapidly resolved the issue and prevented the issue from becoming a long ordeal. I used Tim Gosselin on an insurance matter where the company violated the law but wouldn't pay. The insurance commissioner's office gave me the usual "we can't do anything and you have to see an attorney" garbage. I went to his office at 4:00 on a Friday and found him to be very laid back. He looked at all my paperwork and recommended a letter. By Saturday I had a copy of the letter in the mail. It was very good--forceful but not threatening. By the next Friday the insurance company paid the claim in full! Tim only charged about $200 for everything--other attorneys wanted that just to talk to me.
Call the other insurance attorneys in the phonebook, and Tim is the cheapest. And from my experience, the best.

Jay represented me during a 2nd DUI offense and we received a favorable outcome. I was caught driving on a suspended license afterwards and this was my 3rd DWLS 1st. I was facing 60 months for an assault and within 6 months Morgan Benfield took me to trial and got me an acquitted via an “Not Guilty” verdict from the jury.
Looking back at this process, I would sincerely tell anyone whom is looking for a defense attorney to consider hiring Morgan Benfield.
His entire philosophical process was way beyond easy and in the end, despite the flagrant dishonesty and intentional difficulty inflicted upon us by the State, especially during the pretrial process, he smoothly navigated and directed us to a big win.
If you hire Mr Benfield please understand that the courts respect him as well. For example, whenever I showed up to arraignment, the State made it crystal clear that they were going to ask for $50,000 bail. Once they’d been informed that I was represented by Morgan Benfield, that request suddenly plummeted to $15,000, the judge ultimately deciding to release me for free under my own recognizance. “Mr Cho I see that you’ve hired your own attorney” he said, prior to releasing me.
I say again Mr Benfield is super easy to work with. So easy that at times I felt uncomfortable with the lack of effort that was required of me. You literally pay for his services and let the man work. Other lawyers, many times more expensive ones will not only ask you for their fee but then will give you a packet/check list of all the things that you need to do on your end before they get started. They’ll even attach your bill on the very top as they hand it all over to you. This is the extreme opposite of Mr Benfield.
His approach is unorthodox and he even has a catch-phrase that he uses once he has them where he wants them (I won’t disclose it and ruin the fun) but by the time Morgan Benfield was finished that jury took only an hour to decide and I truly feel the only reason that it took that long was for the jury to give the pretense to the judge that they were debating amongst themselves. We were done by lunch.
Trust me. This guy is good. Thank you to all my predecessors that left reviews prior to me because without them I may have never sought out his services. Thank you again Mr Benfield for beating my charge!

After a month of leaving contract requests on their web page, and voice messages, someone contacted me and said they would pass on my request. Then after another week, an assistant told me that they were too busy to help me. This is arrogant, unprofessional, and just plain rude.
