I was in a pretty bad spot. I had, in hindsight, said some things I shouldn't have said had I known the trouble it would bring. Nevertheless, I called someone out for shady activity online and I ended up entangled in a lawsuit over it.
I went to a list of lawyers who were willing to help people in a situation not unlike mine and found Mudd Law. After speaking with Charles he agreed to take my case at a really reasonable price and let me work out a fair payment plan. This case could have financially ruined me for the foreseeable future and I needed help badly.
Mr. Mudd was very helpful and personable right from the first phone call and I was very comfortable explaining the situation and following the sensible advice he offered. I quickly lost the notion I was dealing with a "lawyer" but was instead dealing with a real person who had a personal and professional interest in helping me solve my problem without trying to fleece me in the process.
In the end we were all able to come up with an amicable solution to the problem and it didn't break me financially. I also learned some lessons from my own actions and the guidance I received on how to not end up in a situation like this again, or, if I do, how to handle it better and more importantly, who to turn to if I need real legal console.
Thanks again for all your help. You helped walk me through a nightmare and come out stronger on the other side. I'll never forget your kindness and professionalism.

My husband and I started his immigration process back in 2018. Our journey was a difficult one dealing with immigration and their long processing times and half the time just no response. We initially had started with a local firm back in 2018. All we heard from them was we had to just wait. We were devastated. We were then referred to McEntee Law Group by one of our good friends. We had our initial call with Natalia. The hope that Natalia gave us after our first meeting with her is a feeling we will never forget.
Natalia and Susie helped us on our case which included Adjustment of Status Denial, reopening of our case, responses to RFE’s, along with many Congressional and Ombudsman requests.

I needed to apply for my marriage-based Greencard while living with my wife in The Netherlands. I chose Natalia and McEntee Law because my brother had also hired her to help with his company-based Greencard and recommend her. I would highly recommend Natalia.
Unfortunately the US immigration process is ridiculously complicated, costly, badly documented by USCIS and NVC, and takes a ridiculous amount of time to process. Having experienced it, I recommend hiring a lawyer if you can afford it.
Natalia and her legal aid Susie helped us as we applied from abroad using the consular application process. She helped us understand the process, gather necessary documents, avoid making costly mistakes, advised us on what to include in our application etc. Together with Susie she also checked all our documentation in fine detail. Any time I had a question I emailed Natalia and heard back within a day. She contacted USCIS and the NVC on my behalf to clarify certain things. It was such a relief to have a dedicated lawyer in our corner.
We finally moved to the US a few weeks ago. I have my Greencard and it's a huge relief. We're very thankful to Natalia and Susie, they have been fantastic!

I first became acquainted with Matt back in Nov. of 2006. I was being sued for patent violations, along with a myriad of other bogus charges. I needed someone who was knowledgeable in patent law, but because of all the other extraneous charges, I also needed someone who knew the legalities of Trade Dress, Trade Secrets, Anti Trust etc, etc.
Honestly, after looking at several law firms, I decided on Matt’s firm because of the reasonable fees. They had a solid reputation for getting good results on a smaller budget than most other firms. I needed someone basically, who I could afford.
Everyone who has been involved in such cases knows that they can drag on seemingly “forever”! Now I know the reason why after living with it for the past 3+ years. When people throw the book at you, it takes time to plead your case. Matt has been able to get this case whittled down to the bare bones, but one has to understand that a certain “chain of events” must occur. Matt has addressed each and every charge, step by step, filing motions, replies, briefs, exhibits and so forth with as much enthusiasm now as the first day I met him. He always has been reassuring, positive and upbeat – and rightfully so, because with each ruling from the judge, came another small victory.
My case was unique in that we had to work in unison with another law firm representing two other parties being sued in the same lawsuit. That meant that Matt had to collaborate with other lawyers. In many cases this could result in a nightmare! Matt and the other lawyers seemed to work fluently together, even when the lead council of the other law firm left in the middle of the case and was replaced by another attorney.
I will never forget Matt’s persistence during a deposition. He knew exactly what he needed to get “on the record” and question after question was asked. The answers came one by one, with no detail left unspoken. I think he rather enjoyed that! All the answers were exactly what he expected. When you watch someone in action like that, there’s nothing better. It’s like watching an artist paint a picture. First you see one thing, then another, and then finally you see the whole picture. Matt had that picture in his mind all along and then we got to see it come to life. I have learned that a lot of skill and patience goes into taking a thorough deposition.
Usually the last thing a person wants is a phone call from a lawyer. Not the case with Matt! First of all, it’s usually good news when he calls. Secondly, he has become a friend over the years and just a really nice guy. I have had the opportunity to meet his whole family and one can just tell that they are a family with strong values, one of those rare kinds of “Norman Rockwell” families (corny but true). I even got to meet his father, who is very well respected in the legal world.
The bottom line is this: God forbid I ever get sued again, but if I do, Matt would be my first phone call.

Attorney Brezina was kind enough to take the time to answer a question I had regarding copyright concerns if I were to seek permission from the owner of lyrics to use their material for a business idea I have. I did not use the exact words or maybe the correct words to explain what I was truly asking and still Attorney Brezina was able to identify my true question. The task I had described that I will attempt to complete on my own is a bit daunting for an inexperienced researcher and creator of legal documentation yet Attorney Brezina answered in simple terminology that I am able to easily understand and has given me confidence that I can do this!! I had a medical malpractice complaint against a Dr who left me disabled. It was not a complication of the surgery. He damaged an area that he should not have been any where close to. The expert was weak and really didn’t look at all the facts. They lied to me about going to trial. They did not even get the injury correct. When I read the depositions I thought they were working for the physician. I wish I never had hired them. I haven’t been able to work since the injury and we spent a good portion of our savings on Dr bills. They dropped my case after 5 years and it’s been impossible to find a new lawyer. I’m now trying to get a job and no one wants to hire a nurse who’s disabled and has been out of work for seven years. Not only has this physician ruined my entire life but these lawyers didn’t know enough about nerve injuries to take the case. They also printed up a fake trial date on a court document and gave it to me to make me believe we were going to trial. Who does that?

Absolutely the best legal experience I've heard from anyone and arrival at justice in a difficult case. My company used an IME which lied. It was easily shown to the arbitrator and Mrs. Bridgette Kolb ensured justice and a fair outcome, recovering all of my lost workers compensation and covering a partial loss of my body due to the injury. When we were looking for a lawyer to represent us against a copyright troll in CA, I was at first hesitant to contact Billy as he was in Chicago. So I called a few others first and Billy last. Billy was by far the most reasonable and knowledgeable about the industry. He did a superb job at getting a settlement that we could live with. He spent quite a bit of time going back and forth with the troll and us. I believe he does this work out of principle as he surely spent far more time than the fee we paid him.
When we called Billy, we were feeling afraid, tense, and extremely nervous. Within minutes, Billy made us feel secure and relaxed because we knew he would be protecting us from that point on. He lived up to his reputation and we cannot thank him enough. Strangely, I feel like I owe him more money for how much work he did to represent us. I was extremely fortunate to have found Ben Kailin and Firm Equity after being named in a Malibu Media Lawsuit. After contacting a few other law firms, I felt Ben seemed to really understand how to deal with Malibu Media. He took on my case and was able to negotiate a settlement I could live with. The initial offer from the plaintiff was way more than I could afford to pay. It took him several weeks of back and forth negotiating before he was able to bring the settlement amount down to an acceptable level. I’m not sure the modest fee he charged even covered the time he spent on my case. He is truly the friendliest yet fiercest lawyer around. If you are ever unlucky enough to be involved in something like this, definitely call Ben and Firm Equity.

Mark did a great job creating a consulting agreement for me. Not only does he know his IP law, he also has the depth of technical knowledge to go along with that. Mark is very easy to work with and is not afraid to pull in outside expertise when required. On my project, he brought in another lawyer who regularly creates agreements like mine.
