I was sued for over a million dollars for defamation from a Yelp review. I did not have the resources to fight such a massive lawsuit. I hired Michael to help me with a legal matter (a business where I had been storing valuables absconded with my property and sold it! And we had to sue him to try to get my money back), and after working with him to a very successful conclusion of this legal case, I cannot find enough good things to say about the GREAT GREAT job Michael did.
He managed to negotiate a very satisfactory settlement for me that I thought was quite fair value given the reality of what was legally do-able. I believe it was his experience in the law that enabled him to do this, and as well I was very happy in the way Michael worked with me….good communication, good service and in my opinion very fair pricing considering the amount of work he did.

I was reffered to her by my friend, and I had very complex case and you do not want to know how much I was sued. In my head I was getting ready for bankruptcy until I met her. She look at my case and wrote very small amount on the paper and said to me, are you comfortable with this amount? I said yes and guess what after the stellement I am paying that small amount. And my settlement is the best one in this class action sued case. She did a great job and saved me from bankruptcy and meanwhile she saved me alot of money. I highly recommand her.

We are a very small business that doesn't make a whole lot of money, a large competitor decided to infiltrate our company, steal trade secrets, slander us online and file a frivolous suit against us. We hired an attorney that did a lot of damage to our case and ran our bill up to around $40,000. 90% of it for unnecessary research and communications (mainly with us over billing). We ran asap and were lucky enough to find Ms. Kazemi. She repaired the serious mistakes in our case unbelievably fast when time was running out, and has been extremely fair and understanding regarding cost. We could not ask for a better attorney. She saved us from going completely out of business and has fought hard for us, negotiated well, always communicated with us to tell us what's gone on and really listened to us when we had questions or explanations about anything. I recommend her to anybody that wants a real, honest, hard working attorney that knows how to fight for what is right. They are so hard to find and we are very lucky to have her as our counsel.

It is amazing how quickly Bill can sift through all of information involved with a case and hone in on the salient points to reach accurate conclusions and devise a plan of action. Bill was the litigator for an ERISA plan , in which the former trustees had breached their fiduciary duties. Bill's performance in this role was outstanding because he was always extremely prepared and immediately responsive during the trial. For example one witness and one defendant testified falsely and Bill immediately referred them to admitted trial documents which proved their testimony was false. The defendant who testified falsely admitted his previous statement was "probably wrong". The judge in Federal Court ultimately ruled in our favor on the main issue in the case. A very important fact upon which he based this ruling was that this defendant's testimony was not true and this led the judge to rule in our favor on this primary issue.

I reached out to Jacob regarding a contract in the entertainment industry. While I consider myself very meticulous and curious about legal jargon, I know when some things are out of my hands, and heard of Jacob through a friend. It was my first time asking an attorney to review a contract, for my benefit. Jacob reached out to me via phone, and asked I was looking for (in terms of protection, expectations, rights, etc) before he got to work. I voiced my concerns and thoughts, and he went to work. The same day he called me back saying the contract had to revised as it contained clauses and language clearly supporting the other party, and he made the appropriate revisions. He also said he'd revise the contract as required based on negotiations.
Being in the entertainment industry, we artists tend to not have enough capital to think about our future interests, and we sign contracts blindly. This is wrong. Because we are financially vulnerable, it's even more important to protect what asset we do have, any will have coming to us. Bigger companies have well-paid attorneys drafting contracts in clear favor of their clients. Jacob helped me by working with my budget and providing prompt service so I, too, feel like I have a vested interest in this transactional relationship with the other party.
