I had a wonderful experience with Dan and his team. I can confidently say this firm genuinely cares about their clients. I owe Dan Gerash and Shelbi Danner a debt of gratitude. They represented me in a jury trial in Jefferson County where I was wrongfully accused by an Arvada Police Officer that resulted in a Not Guilty verdict on all charges. Their thorough professionalism and attention to detail was incredible. They advised me throughout the entire process and were always honest and up front with me about my case. Mr. Huttner is a life saver! I was facing my 2nd DUI in 2019 and was from another state. Not to mention, I knew nothing about Denver and surrounding areas. While back home, I received consultation from a few lawyers but Mr. Huttner stood out the most. I wasn't sure why at the time but I am glad I made that decision. Mr. Huttner was very knowledgeable and respectful. He always made sure he overcommunicated times and dates when it came to court dates/hearings etc. He was open and honest to any questions I had throughout this 2 1/2 year process. He advised going to trial would be best if I did not want to take a plea deal. I was quite certain we had a great chance and ultimately decided to go to trial. Mr. Huttner took every step to make sure that we were in a great position to win this case. Going into this situation and dealing with the uncertainty was extremely stressful but I kept believing that Mr. Huttner had this under control. Eventually, We went to trail and after 903 days I was found not guilty. I cant say enough about this man but he is one of the best I've come across. I highly recommend Mr. Huttner.

I’ve been working with Richard since August of 2016 (Case took 4+ years). I was stopped for a urinating in public, but the charges quickly changed to DUI after they saw my priors. By the end of the encounter, I was facing indecent exposure (Urinating in public), DUI, resisting arrest, and obstruction of a peace officer.
Richard took on my case and immediately got a small win at the DMV. The hearing officer at the DMV ruled that I should have never been pulled over as the officer had no description of the individual he “thought” he observed urinating. This officer could not tell if the person was black, white, or other, and couldn’t even decipher man of woman. Needless to say I was awarded my license back that day.
My case is a very long and drawn out story. We lost at trial due to an error made by the court in which Richard advised that I could Appeal. I was facing 11 months in jail, court fees, probation, alcohol classes, and the loss of my license. I appealed to the district court (won); the people (DA) appealed to the Supreme Court (lost). My conviction was set aside and I was given the opportunity to have a new trial.
The former DA for the 18th district was not a fan of my case and would not just settle with us so we presented the case to the new 18th district DA once he was sworn in. Richard again went to bat for me and was able to get all charges dismissed except for obstruction. I pled guilty to obstruction; no jail, no probation, just a $50 fine. What a difference having a fresh set of unbiased eyes can do for your case.

I took a long time to get my investments and property into a trust for my son as I wasn't sure of the process and it just seemed so daunting, but Miranda was absolutely amazing every step of the way! She was extremely responsive and had documents to me within at least a week's time, sometimes within 24 hours. She guided me through everything and was extremely thorough and patient with me when it came to properly wording everything. She even periodically emails me to ensure that I am following through with contacting all of my investors and banks. I now feel so comforted that in the event of my untimely death, my son is taken care of and there won't be any litigation in regards to my investments or property. I was wrongly charged with domestic violence when I was the victim but, because I did not call to report an incident, the police believed the fabricated lie. I was arrested and forced to go through the most embarrassing process I have ever experienced in my life, all the while, feeling like a criminal when I didn’t do anything wrong.
After I posted bail, I new I needed help with this fight and began looking for defense attorneys, which was when I found Mike.
When I met with Mike and broke down the whole story, he thought it was a great case to take all the way to trial. He was very honest and let me know that the DA will try to ‘sweeten’ the plea deal, at every disposition. He said there is a good chance the charges would get dropped before trial but, it could take all summer and may not be dismissed until an hour before trial. He told me to prepare myself and expect it to go to trial.
We were all set for trial and Mike couldn’t wait for his opportunity to cross examine. Just before trial, he made one last attempt to get the DA to look at all the evidence. Finally, the DA listened and the evidence that Mike presented, was enough to dismiss the case. Just as he prepared me for what to expect, the case was dropped an hour before trial.
Although the whole situation cost me a lot of money, time, embarrassment, heartache, etc... I couldn’t have done it without Mike. He was always available when I had questions or needed to run something by him. His price is much more appealing than several of the others that I had tried calling.
Overall, Mike Boyce is a true professional, very candid, and someone you can trust!

I worked with Mark Savoy and Diane Barrera Joseph Santaularia was my primary attorney or my main attorney for six months he helped me. I went through a situation that I’ve never been through and I should not have been in long story short I had three charges and was unaware. I found out through getting hired at this job when they did a background check they chose not to hire me and that’s when I became aware of my situation! So I had to prepare to turn myself in, which is something I’ve never done I didn’t do it right away I gathered information and did it about a month later I Went through that whole process ended up having to turn in my firearm. We fought hard on this for six months three charges dropped case dismissed as of 4 months ago last August 30th it was finalized. They helped me go through a process to where I was able to get the entire case sealed with the Help of Mark & Diane and now my case it now no longer appears on my record or anywhere, and they were able to help me get my firearm back. Colorado Legal Defense was always there with advice and if someone couldn’t make it, their whole team would make sure somebody was there to represent you in court. Mr. Cross you did a fantastic job you were very clear on the entire process and what needed to get where we wanted the deal to get to. A great negotiator and honestly a stand up gentleman with knowledge that's impressive with case law and the process of court proceedings. Mr. Cross was very patient however very informative on how to navigate this case. He keeps in contact on a regular basis and will even give some encouragement on your well being, sobriety and goals you may have set. In court he shows no signs of nervousness and pays attention to detail. Extremely professional and effective law firm. Christina was constantly talking to me about the case and any updates that she had. She was able to reduce my case from an original deal of 3 months incarcerated to 45 days of house arrest due to the research she did on me and her ability to show the court the ways in which I have vastly changed since the beginning of my case. Having no experience in this field at all, I was pretty terrified when I was shown to be at fault for a car accident. The entire team was excellent gave me a lot of information helped me to remain calm, and on the day of Katy in particular went way above and beyond the call of duty to help facilitate me reaching the courthouse on time. I was very impressed on every level with this operation.
Oh, and they significantly reduced the amount of trouble I was going to get into! Well worth the retainer.

I worked with Mark Savoy and Diane Barrera Joseph Santaularia was my primary attorney or my main attorney for six months he helped me. I went through a situation that I’ve never been through and I should not have been in long story short I had three charges and was unaware. I found out through getting hired at this job when they did a background check they chose not to hire me and that’s when I became aware of my situation! I had a vehicle accident in 2020. It is now late 2023 and I can't tell if this case is still on going. They lack communication. I had a lawyer work with me up til the part they negotiate and then he goes quiet. The law firm ends up firing him. And now I'm with a new attorney and he hasn't said nothing other then an email stating who he was and that he's taking over my case. 0/10. Would never recommend this law firm to anyone.
