Jennifer is such a talented attorney. She is one of the best in Seattle. She was assigned to me because I couldn’t obtain counsel (aka I was broke). I am so beyond lucky to have her. Everyone that we have to work with has said the same. I would highly recommend her! She has been my counsel for a federal criminal case. She handles everything with such care and grace. I hired Mark Blair to assist me with my motion to withdraw my plea after I initially filed it myself. He reviewed my motion and stated that he didn't think it was necessary to add any additional information or conduct further research, and the initial invoice was about $700-800.
However, after I informed him that I wanted to drop the case, he changed the invoice link to about $3,500, including charges for research he had not done. This felt extremely deceptive and dishonest, especially since I paid him a total of $5,000 for minimal work, which primarily involved scheduling a hearing and contacting the court and the prosecutor. In the end, I only received about an $70 refund.
I would caution others to be wary of this dishonest and unethical lawyer.

A family friend called me distraught several months ago. Their son - young, well behaved, never before in trouble with the law - had been accused of a serious offense. The police were investigating. The family did not speak English and needed help finding a lawyer and interpreting.
I had no idea what lawyer to suggest. Some I called requested astronomical hourly rates. By grace, I found and suggested Mr. Meryhew.
Mr. Meryhew was fair minded in his fee structure, skilled in relating to people even those from a different culture, and a good lawyer. We received good news this morning that the young man is no longer under investigation and the allegations against him were found to be groundless.
Thank you to Mr. Meryhew for being an excellent intermediary with the police and for consoling the family with patience during a moment of profound crisis.

I cannot thank Beckwith Law Group enough for the way they handled my legal matters. I specifically want to thank Attorney Jay Krohn, who personally handled my case and court appearances. Jay and the rest of the Beckwith staff treated me with the utmost compassion during one of the most trying situations of my life. A year ago, I was under stress and made an unintentional mistake at a Target store, and the police opened two cases with theft 3rd degree.
I was looking for a lawyer for a long time based on reviews and called to lawyers, and only Steve asked me the right questions.
The hearing continued on for one year. It was a very stressful year because I didn’t know how things would end. Steve did everything right, I followed all instructions which h provided, and finally the prosecutor dismissed my case. I highly recommend Steve as a professional.

I was so lucky to find Morgan Lake when I did. I bought a Jeep in Puyallup, Washington, drove it for 4 hours on I-90, then watched one of its wheels suddenly sheer off it at the studs. The dealership was unwilling to make things right, so I got in touch with Lake Law to understand my options. I, a Florida resident, felt properly lost trying to pick up the pieces after being cheated by a Washington used car dealer, but with Morgan's help, I had what I needed to get this issue resolved.
Morgan Lake spoke with me on the phone extensively. He made sure that I was not only aware of my options, but clearly understood each of them. He gave me action steps which I have followed to great effect. Lake Law is a 10/10 law firm and Morgan Lake is a 10/10 attorney. He is a class act.

Ms Carey is the consummate professional. I hugely regret not switching attorneys when another (medical) professional suggested I do so after I had retained an attorney and was in the throes of the challenges of securing legally entitled services for my child. I consulted with her, and she was kind, compassionate, and responsive. A great listener. She cared about my child more than my money. I ultimately decided not to switch which was a mistake, and I may still end up retaining her. She seems to be the best: smart, focused on what is best for child (not her wallet or ego), and wise in the ways of SPS. Do not repeat my mistake if SPS is making it hard to get what your child is legally entitled to.

I've met quite a few lawyers in my life (some who I feel ripped me off), and I have to say Ann is one of the kindest and most generous lawyers I have met. She's extremely intelligent and truly knowledgeable in the areas she advertises--and others such as divorce. Ann is also doing my will. I honestly think she could handle any type of case...
Ann also has excellent assistants who are knowledgeable and caring, and give you a warm feeling.
Ann did some pro-bono work for me, and I didn't have to ask! I got more than I paid for. Needless to say, I was pleasantly shocked.
Ann has also helped children.
Hiring Ann gave me confidence once again in lawyers. Try her out first--you won't be sorry.

I have known Ann Carey for almost 20 years. We first met when she offered services in the Juvenile Detention System and I was a Chaplain there. She was available and always responsive and she has not changed over the years. I have referred her, most recently to a young man in our parish. I don't have details but his case was satisfactorily resolved. I had occasion to contact her myself, in the last month, regarding a criminal case for a family member. She responded quickly and with the information and advice I needed. Hers is the only Attorney phone number in my personal directory and she is the first person I recommend if someone asks me about legal services. If you want someone straightforward, knowledgeable, ethical, and caring, Ann Carey is definitely your lawyer.

I wholeheartedly recommend R. Flennaugh! He came HIGHLY recommended by a couple of close friends. Even other attorneys spoke well of him. I watched courtrooms in 2 different municipalities show RF so much respect by him simply walking in the room. He's your guy!
I interviewed several other attorneys to represent my family member and decided on Robert. From our initial conversation he made me feel confident in his knowledge of the law. He was relatable and personable. He was honest, straightforward about possible outcomes and was GREAT at communicating. His fees were comparable to other reputable defense attorneys.
My family member was exonerated because of Robert's relentless hard work. He stayed on the procesecuting attorney's office for any/all discovery, requiring them to review evidence, body camera, dashboard footage that the prosecutor didn't even bother to consider reviewing before bringing charges. Robert was so skillful in pointing out the deception and false reporting by 2 different law enforcement agencies. All this without having to go to trial.
He was always a good stuart of our money, checking in with us and letting us know prior to spending against the retainer.
It's refreshing to see someone genuinely on their clients side, looking out for their absolute best interests and invested in their continue success even after the case was dismissed.

Through Linda’s legal representation, the court awarded me custody of my grandson. My grandson was living with me to avoid the abuse he experienced in his own home.
This was a particularly challenging situation for many major reasons.
(1) My grandson’s divorced parents lived in another state, which created legal complications for obtaining guardianship.
(2) We had no “hard” evidence of my grandson’s abuse with his family due to his living 100’s of miles away.
(3) Social services in his home state wanted to reunite my grandson with his father, who was his primary abuser.
(4) For several hearings, as long as his mother phoned into the court, I was not granted custody of my grandson.
Linda not only did the legal work with the court system, she worked as an intermediary for me in numerous discussions with my grandson’s parents.
This combination of legal skills and acumen resulted in my having permanent third-party custody of my grandson. He will have the safe life I promised him by growing up in my home.

I don't know where to begin when I explain how amazing of an attorney Anne is. There was so much more going on behind the scenes than I ever realized. With and at times without my knowing, she went above and beyond in s many ways. She actually takes time whether it's Labor Day weekend, any weekend or evening to get back to you and thoroughly answer your questions (which I have a lot of by the way) - She truly cares and is interested in you as a client not just for monies, she's organized, prompt, very motivated and even with her many years of experience, still carries the passion for justice. I wanted to share that the experience I had with the view ridge law- more specifiacally with the attorny Elaina T. was far from well. I had to end my session with her early and request my money back. I paid her to help me and instead she spent time telling me why I couldnt get what I wanted and defending the other party. I also found out she did not read all the paperwork I sent in which she claimed was irrelevant to the case which was entirely unture. I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and care that was given to me. Our meeting was not recorded so I was not able to prove that way she was speaking to me to her superiors. The only positive that came from this was that the office did refund me my money. I lost out on a very timely situation due to their lack of attention.

This company was retained to assist someone trying to steal my land. They clearly have a losing case. This firm has delayed every email and settlement offer presented to them. They takes weeks or months to respond to calls and emails if at all. It is clear they are doing this to delay the process to rack fees for their clients. Read all the horrible reviews about this firm online and how they treat their own clients and opposing counsel offering them more than generous settlements. We have 7 attorneys and have never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism. Even our property insirance company and the firm retained said this is the most unprofessional communication ever. All they have to do is agree to a settlement but they delay the process to rack of trial fees and do not communicate with clients or opposing counsel. Read all the horrible reviews before hiring these people.

I retained their services for help with business contracts, and business partner discussions. They were extremely prompt, thorough, and helped me succeed with positive outcomes. I first worked with Imants, then mostly with Phil Neale. Phil was very easy to get a hold of, and constantly updated me on progress. Every time I called in, he either answered the call right away, or called back very shortly afterwards. Highly recommend, and we will retain their services when needed again in the future!

I was involved in a collision with an uninsured motorist in Fall 2023.
