Rakin Did a great job for us! I deal with insurance all of the time and thought it would be easy to deal with this event. It was a accident where a family member was hit by a car. They were fine after some time in the hospital and the driver was insured so it did not seem difficult! 4 weeks after the event I got Rakin contact information and he took over.
We just wanted the medical bills covered, if I had not contacted him I would have had to pay most of the bills due to the driver lo coverage limits.
I think he saved us 100k!

My 2012 VW GTIs engine blew after a timing chain failure, and I was extremely worried that I was going to have to spend over $7,000 getting it fixed. Instead, I made the extremely intelligent decision of reaching out to Mr. Webster after reading a positive review of his services in an online forum. Although my GTI was not covered under warranty or included in the class-action lawsuit, Mr. Webster was able to negotiate a settlement with VW for 100% of the cost of the engine replacement, plus reimbursement for towing and other service expenses. It took a couple of weeks for everything to happen, but I am extremely grateful to him and his team. He may be a wizard of sorts.

When the timing chain malfunctioned on my 2011 VW Tiguan, the engine needed to be replaced at a cost of almost $6000, There were no warning signs at all. I wanted to see if there were any class action lawsuits for this issue so I googled VW timing chain lawsuits and found Steven Webster's website.
When I left a message for him, he called me back within a few hours, told me that VW was aware of the problem, asked me how much my expenses were in relation to the failure, and told me to send him a copy of the bill after I picked up the car.
Within 2 weeks the issue was settled and VW paid my claim. I was so lucky to have found this lawfirm!

I contacted Jose when he worked for another firm a couple years ago. He understood the dire and time sensitive situation I was in. He was honest and up front with me that taking my case on such short notice, while he would do his best, he cannot commit as many resources as he would like given the short turn around time and the other cases on his plate. Having said that, he said he would take my case, but just wanted me to be aware that he might not be able to do the job 100% like he would normally do. But he also referred me to another disability lawyer in case I wanted someone who could dedicate more time to my case.
Ultimately, I chose to go with the other lawyer he referred me to because I wanted a lawyer who could dedicate his full attention to my case. And I successfully won my disability appeal. So it is clear that Jose had no ego in referring me to another very good lawyer.
I really appreciated Jose's honesty and up front nature. And the amount of time he spent helping me even though he got nothing out of it.
If Jose says he can take your case, you can be assured he will dedicate the proper amount of attention unless he tells you otherwise.

I am 53 and have suffered back issues and surgeries for 24 years. I am at the point in life where I can't take much more day to day pain. In researching about long term disability I realized this is not a "game" the average person should play alone. Honestly I did not want to spend money as I have spent thousands on medical bills this year alone. Mr. Caballe made me feel comfortable from the start of the conversation. It was encouraged that my wife participate and he included her throughout the conversation. He pointed out so many areas that I never would have thought about or considered regarding the process of filing and collection LTD. How Social Security most likely will become part of the process and the fact that I do not have to totally stop living to be considered disabled, and ways to handle that. He also told me that I most likely will have additional questions after our meeting and to feel free to call or email him and he will respond. This single outreach says to me that it is about the client and not just the money. He treated us the way both my wife and I treat people. If I need to move forward with a disability claim, I only have one phone call to make and that is comforting.

Dr Hollowell is the patent attorney for our firm, and has done an outstanding job. She is always on top of whatever document needs to be filed, and never lets a deadline slip up on us. She extremely professional and knowledgeable about all the aspects of patent law, and she can explain it to where it is easily understood.
She is someone you can talk to and know that she not only will be the best attorney, and she will always be a step ahead. We filed a patent and it was approves by the USPO, and then she laid out a plan for widening the impact of our patent and protecting our intellectual property. She works diligently today to strengthen our patents so we won't have unforeseen issues in the future with someone trying to go around them.
We have another very technical patent that has just been filed where she enlisted other professionals to build the application from scratch so to speak and made it a viable presentation to the USPO that we feel confident it will be approved. She went the second mile for us on this one especially...getting detailed drawings done and verbiage etc. for a tight presentation of the material and the idea to the USPO. I hired Alex to deal with allegations of copyright infringement on my business website from another law firm representing Reuters and the Canadian Press. Alex was excellent to work with. After gathering the facts from me and doing some legal research, he crafted a legal defense and sent letters/emails to the other law firm and organization. He was able to settle the disputes for a sum considerably lower than I would have had I gone about this on my own. Alex's fee also included making sure that the release documents were appropriate and the matters were closed with the other law firm once I remitted payment.
If you are in a similar situation regarding copyright infringement, I highly recommend contacting Alex. Based on this experience, I will be using Alex for all of my business needs such as reviewing contracts, etc.

Our condominium board was making financial decisions not in compliance with Virginia law and condominium bylaws. We needed an attorney to help us with our copy write issues enabling us to pass the last hurdle in getting our work published. Manuel first helped us understand the surrounding legal issues involved. Once he did that he was able to ask us the right questions to guide his research. One of the things which impressed us the most was the quality of Manuel's research. This made us comfortable that all our issues were covered in depth and nothing would sneak up on us a year after we published. Manuel is also very good in interpreting the law in practical terms. We had to deal with a breach of contract and, after a quick search, found Tony Damiani’s practice. Our last lawyer left us in the lurch and didn’t pursue the requested course of action against the defendant but wouldn’t give us many details as to what work had been done. Tony was patient with us, gave us very fair advice that projected potential outcomes and what he felt might happen if we pursued each option. My case is still ongoing. I have been litigating before the Alexandria Circuit Court since 2013. Rich came on board Sept 2017 and very quickly was able to obtain an important ruling on a critical case issue. The guy is just amazing, very knowledgeable, known and respected in the Virginia legal community, personable and easy to talk to. Calm and smooth in Court. I just wanted to convey my very positive experience with this great attorney. I was embroiled in a very contentious fee dispute with an attorney who had provided representation in a discrimination case in Washington DC. Rakin Did a great job for us! I deal with insurance all of the time and thought it would be easy to deal with this event. It was a accident where a family member was hit by a car. They were fine after some time in the hospital and the driver was insured so it did not seem difficult! 4 weeks after the event I got Rakin contact information and he took over.
We just wanted the medical bills covered, if I had not contacted him I would have had to pay most of the bills due to the driver lo coverage limits.
