The best lawyer hands down! I was searching for a lawyer for 9 months plus, and I feel like first impression, as well as your gut feeling is a big deciding factor when choosing a partner to assist you when the time is needed, I've been working with George and his staff for over a year now, even though my case is a year or more and hopefully being done, I would not have wanted anybody else in my corner! In June of 2020, I was entering a grocery store and slipped in a puddle of water on the floor and broke my ankle. I was on vacation from California and did not know any Attorneys. A friend suggested George MacKoul in Hyannis. George had practiced in California and was very knowledgeable in both California and Massachusetts law.
George really helped me with ideas to assist him in preparing my case. One suggestion was keeping a daily diary. The case took 2 years to close. George negotiated a very good settlement. He and his Assistant, Diane, made our long-distance communication and document filing seamless.
I would definitely encourage anyone to engage the services of George MacKoul!

I hired George to represent me in a dispute I had with a boat yard. The boatyard failed to properly winterize my boat causing damage to the engines, and the cabin. The boatyards insurance company tried to offer me a small amount of money, but once I had George on the case things changed rapidly. I ended up getting the compensation I was asking for from the insurance company, and they had to dispose of the boat themselves. I can't say enough about George and how he efficiently worked through this dispute for me. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need.

I recently wrapped up my case with Attorney Weigand. Two years ago I was in an auto accident. This happened while I was working. As you can imagine: I was not only devastated by being out of work and on workers comp; but, I was also seriously injured. I ended up needing a surgical procedure on my neck. Blair, not only, took care of the accident with my car; he also handled the workers comp part, as well. He is an attorney that truly cares about his clients welfare and more importantly than that; their well-being. I don't believe I ever went into his office for an appointment that he didn't inquire about my neck and my health status. He truly cares and he is super knowledgeable when it comes to handling these "NASTY" insurance companies. It was a relief, when they would call me; and I would say: my attorney has advised me to refer you to him. I have nothing more to say! I got to say: it made my life 16 times easier and I was able to focus on myself and getting well. Blair did an awesome job! I was in an auto accident and suffered a mild back injury. He explained everything to me so I could understand the process and all my options. Since I wasn't completely out of commission and pretty much able to get around I wasn't expecting to get much knowing how insurance companies don't want to pay out. I will say you need to be patient and let things take their course but it will be worth it. At our last meeting he showed me a document of the final outcome. At first I thought there must have been a misprint on the line that showed the amount that I was getting. However, Blair assured me the figure was in fact correct. Let’s just say it was literally three times what I was expecting. Blair knows what he's doing and hit the ball out of the park!
I highly recommend him and if I ever need a legal resource again I know where I'm going.

I contacted attorney Blair Weigand in 2014 after I was badly burned from a tanning bed incident. I had bad burns on the right side of my face and body. It was absolutely miserable. He immediately met with me and discussed all avenues. He had me set up with a dermatologist and kept in contact with me to see how I healed. Luckily no scarring on my face but after all was said and done attorney Bair Weigand got me the best result in compensation and even after we had met about that he called me a few weeks later to let me know he had got me even more money! After going to court a few times on my own, I quickly realized that the court system does not care about fathers rights, its all about paying child support, and it doesnt matter if I ever see or have a relationship with my children. Thats when I hired Mr. Carter. From the moment my wife and I met him, we knew he was the right choice. If you are a good father who takes care of your children, but the mother brainwashes your child/ children and keep them away from you, and only cares about the money, or if you feel like the child support you are paying is too much based on your income, please talk to this lawyer. Too many fathers give up on their children because they feel like there is no hope. Too many mothers destroy their childrens lives because they treat their children like a pawn. Fathers have just as much rights as mothers, but sometimes you need a good caring lawyer that knows the law to help you. Fathers please dont give up on your children, there is hope.....

Not only failed to find the only eyewitness, but refused to look. Refused to get video, that would likely have exonerated me. Then six months later, requested an additional $500. to get the video and look for the only witness. The video I had been telling him to get since I had seen the seen the pd report. My recommendation is that if you get this guy appointed, ask for new representation immediately.
