Robert and Alysha are great and accomplished what a lot of people told me was almost impossible. I sold a car a few years ago and the person never registered the car and had an accident while it was still registered under me. Almost a year later I find of that my license was revoked. I didn't have proof that I had sold the car. I had over ten thousand dollars in damages that i would have to pay before getting my license back. They got everything cleaned up and I was able to get my license back. Thank you so much!!!!

About 15 years ago my attorney for many years dropped his private practice to work for a Federal Judge. I have known Mike Moyers since he was a Chancellor on the bench for 20 years. I appeared in his Court for many years. He was compassionate about his work as a Judge.
Recently, he decided to retire as Chancellor and move to practicing law again. He wants to help people and use his expertise to help those people struggling and need help. He is an asset to our legal community. He is genuinely a kind person and very intelligent. In my life there are few people that I consider to be "real" and he is one of the few. He calls it how he sees it with honesty and integrity. His representation brings his clients the "edge" of being a Judge for years and now a litigator. Don was our attorney in a complicated and long-running suit, and I have never seen anything quite like it. He was a bulldog, and long after I thought we were lost he kept at it, through two appeals, and actually won the case. I had not really thought the suit was winnable, but I do not know if Don ever gave winning any thought. I believe he was entirely driven by what he thought was right. When my family member suddenly died, I was the executor/personal representative and living in another state. I received a recommendation from a friend who lived in the same state as my deceased family member to contact estate attorney Matthew McDonald. After Mr. McDonald accepted me as a client, he quickly began a step by step process of taking the estate through probate because of some of its complications. He gave me a questionnaire which helped organize the assets and liabilities of the estate. He explained in understandable terms why I had to fill out certain court forms or had to put an announcement in the paper to notify possible claimants about my family member's death. Mr. McDonald was excellent at keeping me up to date on a tentative timeline to get through probate and sent me the necessary documents to sign, notarize, and return. When he notified me that the probate had closed, I felt an immense sense of relief. Mr. McDonald had made the probate process manageable at a very difficult time for my family. Due to his knowledge of the probate estate process and concern for his clients well-being, I recommend him to anyone needing an estate attorney.

In December 2015 my house had an upstairs water line break while I was out of the house for a kitchen remodel. Water ran for 12-18 hours and ruined the newly placed hardwood flooring and most of my content. Insurance stepped in and provided a fair estimate of the work, but I was hasty in selecting a new contractor for the work that turned out to not be qualified (to say the least). This was a grave mistake. The contractor was behind schedule, placed my new kitchen cabinets outside to get rained on, but worst of all he did not know how to install hardwood flooring and did the worst job possible. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the work in place he walked off the job and let my house in ruin. Knowing that I was going to have to fire and sue, I started asking around for legal advice. Briton Collins was recommended to me by my mother who is in tune with the local legal community, so I consulted with Briton and decided he was the best advice available.
Briton navigated me through the Notice of Default procedures so that the "process" was correct from the beginning. Then we stepped through the beginning of the arbitration process. Arbitration clause=red flag, don't sign that contract! We ultimately settled just before the hearing. Without Briton's strong presence during the process, I know I would have gotten nothing. I believe somewhat surprised I decided to settle (pleasantly surprised, I believe), Briton was extremely clear with me to make sure I understood what I was doing. I appreciate the repetition when it comes to confirming big decisions.
I don't wish what I was put through on anyone, but if something similar happens to you, you will be better off consulting with a professional such as Briton.

I am a father of three. I was never married to their mother, and she was not allowing me to see them. I wanted to just get visitation rights to see my children again. I had been paying for child support, and knew that I had rights as their father. However, I was unclear as to what they were. A friend had referred Patti Jane Lay to me. I will say that I almost hired another attorney because she is difficult to get a hold of. Luckily, God put in my heart to just be patient, and she returned my call the next day. Patti Jane was amazing in just explaining to me the different options I could take. After a troubling phone call from my son, I decided that I needed to go after emergency custody. We had to travel across the state just to even take it to court. She made me feel confident every step of the way. Patti Jane seemed to anticipate everything that would take place, therefore she prepared me for everything. I didn't just get rights to my children, I now have full custody of my children, and I am so grateful for her. I found it comforting that her husband is a retired attorney, that came to the courthouse as well, and her son is an attorney as well! What's even better was when I got my bill, and I really feel like I got the deal of a lifetime! She was so helpful and an absolute Godsend.
