Lauren helped us with a rodent issue with our landlord. She helped us identify our rights as tenants, inform our landlord of uninhabitable issues, and work through mediation and agreements to settle our move-out and lease termination. Paul was able to help guide us through a recent real-estate transaction dispute. I would highly recommend him and I would hire him again. He was super knowledgeable and friendly. Jerry Burleson represented me in a minority shareholder case, and I was very pleased with his legal services and the resolution of the case. I wanted to be involved behind the scenes in the legal research, the discovery and the decisions involving my shareholder case. To my delight, Jerry was quite willing to allow me to do that. Jerry developed a creative legal theory based on the facts of my case and he pursued it in court with vigor. Jerry kept me informed of developments on my case, and there were numerous times when he invited me to his office to work with him on discovery and preparing the case for trial. He could easily have done these things without my being so directly involved, but he seemed pleased to have my assistance. I felt confident throughout Jerry’s handling of my case because Jerry was always a step ahead of the defense. This was a difficult case, with little precedent and hard to prove. Despite it looking to be an uphill battle, Jerry stood firm, which I appreciate greatly. I think many lawyers might have tossed in the towel at a few points as the case progressed. In the end, it was Jerry’s extensive legal research specific to the legal theory he had developed that made the difference: the court was persuaded that my case had a solid footing, despite the constant rhetoric and objections of the defense counsel. Jerry Burleson's focus on minority shareholders rights was very evident when he took my stockholder fraud case, I had previously spoken to at least 4 other attorneys who all had declined taking my case in the guise of it "not being a strong case". In my opinion, it was more them not being familiar with the part of corporate law that deals specifically with my case. But Jerry did. He has the expertise, knowledge and experience.
Jerry immediately agreed that my case was strong and have lots of merits, even with several potential statute of limitation issues. We were also up against a deep-pocketed adversary employing several law firms which did not intimidate Jerry at all. He handled the case very well on his own coming up with legal strategies to deal with those challenges. I was quite pleased with the eventual settlement that he successfully negotiated in my behalf.
I emphatically endorse Jerry as an attorney for any kind of stockholder case.

From the very first conversation I had with Bryce he was very clear about what might or might not happen with my trademark issue. I have dealt with many lawyers in my life for various reasons, but have never felt like my case was the most important case they had. This was only for a trademark issue, I can only imagine the amount of work and passion he would put into something more serious. Bryce seems to really love what he does and he made me feel like he was in the fight with us. I had a very strange trademark issue (which other lawyers, I reached out to had never heard of) where my mark was in between a common problem of being too descriptive or being deceptive because my mark didn't have the ingredient in my product that was the name. If that sounds confusing, that's because it was VERY confusing. Other lawyers told me that I should just change my name and they recommended to make up a word to avoid these kind of issues. That was simply not something I wanted to do. I had a name, I loved it, I wanted to fight for it and that's what Bryce did. After reading the argument Bryce put together I was blown away. The amount of time and research that went into the argument was the difference between us winning and losing.
I couldn't be happier with the service Bryce provided and would highly recommend him for any issue you are facing.

I had a relatively small legal issue in San Diego regarding several thousands of dollars in fines that I had received over the years which I had continuously chose to neglect. Charles helped me handle all of the penalties in court and even went to the court house with me free of charge. I know that this is not his usual area of expertise and possibly extremely trivial compared to his usual casework (and definitely not anywhere close to his usual fee) but I was extremely grateful nonetheless. From what I understand he handles all of his cases with the same integrity and ease. I definitely would recommend Charles Maurer to people I know with more serious problems.. and hopefully deeper pockets than mine.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Mr. Tyson was knowledgeable and professional during the entire process. I was impressed by his ability to make sense of my case and present it in a way that was easy to understand BUT also VERY convincing. There is not anything I would change in my first review and in fact I would add the following additional context.
I am still in the midst of the legal matter I initiated with Steven and he has stayed the course through various ups and downs always stay true to give his best in my interest and do all he can to maximizes my investment in him.
I have had to partner and get advice from other law firms over the course of this very complicated multi-state matter and by far Steven and SD Biz Law are my preferred firm over all others in the attention, support and value they provide me. This is without question in working with over 6 firms on this matter, and the only other firm that I have found valuable was one he sought out on his own on my behalf to aid us.
Steven is the attorney you want on your side period.

We spoke to a few different labor attorneys before speaking with Steven Riznik at San Diego Biz Law. Steven immediately calmed our nerves after being named in a labor code violation complaint class action lawsuit. Steven took the time to understand our case where much of his initial time was complimentary. Steven and his firm did an excellent job communicating to us on the status of our case and was expeditiously responsive to phone calls and emails. San Diego Biz Law was able to negotiate the release of us as defendants from the suit altogether within 18 days of initial contact with them, saving us thousands of dollars!
Steven and his firms 30+ years experience is worth every penny. Thank you again Steven for all of your help in this matter.

I had contacted Cline for a horrific, problem ridden Chevy Cruze. I wasn't sure if I would qualify since it was bought as a certified preowned car from the dealership, but with still being under the manufacturer warranty and all, they took my case and won. I do know that lemon law firms take some of the settlement as payment, which is standard for all lemon law law firms, but that some keep different percentages, so you may want to check into that when checking with different firms, but outside of that, I was very happy with Cline. If you don't know if you would qualify for a lemon claim, still call them and they will let you know, as well as explain the process with you. I definitely recommend them due to them being thoroughly knowledgeable of the law, the vehicles they are dealing with, keeping you in the loop, and following through on the claim. The office crew, as well as Brian Cline, took the time to talk to me a number of times, and to have the head honcho take that time, I think was really great.
