Krista is easy to reach, I was very pleased with communication. When the process was taking longer than expected, she would reach out to let me know she was checking in with the Court for updates.
Krista helped me prepare for upcoming distress that was to come with drafting our separation agreement. She has a great deal of experience with divorce, and even though it doesn't minimize the pain, it was helpful to know what was to come.

Kim is one of the best divorce lawyers in the area in my opinion. My case involved a high conflict person with personality disorders who manipulated our son and the system to her advantage. After having another lawyer not present my evidence at trial, I hired her. She stands out because she became intimately involved with my case, was available for offering advice on off-hours, knows technology, was realistic, knew how to negotiate, and helped me change my perspective for better results. Dave Honadle has represented my former company for over ten years (his firm Vanderpool, Frostick & Nishanian has represented the company for a lot longer than that), the majority of the work being related to landlord/tenant. matters. Dave is knowledgeable and reliable. When one of the properties was placed in to redevelopment mode, Dave was instrumental in the termination of leases and the removal of holdover tenants. I hired Mr. Simmons as my criminal defense lawyer. He was exceptional. He dealt with all my precedings from start to finish. From the beginning Mr. Simmons has always been straight forward and never pushed me to choose something I was not comfortable with given at hand. When I had questions Mr. Simmons always answered truthfully of what he knew. If I was not able to get in touch with Mr. Simmons, he always called back in a timely manner. He always kept me and my family informed of what was to come or what could happen. Not only has Mr. Simmons dealt with my case wonderfully but aside from business Mr. Simmons has visited me on multiple occasions while I was incarcerated just too see how I was doing but he has gone above and beyond and took the time to check up on my wife and children as well as my family. I found her thru my company Group Legal program and boy am I glad I did. My case is interstate with me living in NC and the NCP in VA. Sadly my NCP is what they call a "runner", which made the case extremely difficult and time consuming. I hired Mrs. Hardy off our first phone call. I was out of sight and had never met her till our first hearing, but she was someone that I trusted off her knowledge and professionalism. I was not disappointed.
My case was about 7 mos long with a lot of motions and issues, but she was diligent and efficient. She didn't waste time or money and was always willing to find the time to talk and explain the legal issues of my case. I was not a good client because I thought I knew what I was doing, I was emotional and at times very hard to deal with. It didn't phase Mrs. Hardy at all. She listened and advised in the best manner for my child. She Won. She is a winner.. She changed my life and the life of my child. She made the difference and that's exactly what you want when you are dealing in Family matters. Its scary to go to court but having an experienced and professional attorney who is compassionate and patient, changes the whole process. Being out of state made it even more difficult and nerve racking and of course the court system is very slow. I was able to put my faith in her, while continuing my life in NC. I did not have the resources to go back and forth to court and I left it all in her capable hands and she lead me to Victory and an extremely excellent outcome. She got justice for my child and that has no price tag.
I plan to use her if my case is appealed. I highly recommend this lawyer.

The biggest problem that I had with Mr. McKennett's representation was that he was not detailed oriented. He was great at communicating, great at being responsive, and helpful when it came to the larger details. He failed to know the specifics, which hurt the case a lot! He failed to research specific case laws, or have the right people at the trial and quite frankly I spent too much money for him to miss specific information that was extremely important.

Paid an hourly rate for consultation only to be given a business card and some horrible NON-legal advice. I did not retain him as he seemed more interested in getting my check and offered little legal guidance that I needed at the time. Do not waste your time on this lawyer. There are much better options out there.

When I called to schedule a meeting with Ms. Spitler I was told it would be $200 which would also include the cost of the initial filing. At the end of our meeting I ended up paying $600 for Ms. Spitler to tell me I had a case but she only represents businesses and referred me to another attorney
