Tom is a straight to the point, no BS lawyer at a reasonable cost. After I got out on bail, I was scrambling to find an attorney for my arraignment just 36 hours away. I called or emailed every lawyer on the first two pages of google, and only three picked up the phone. One was already scheduled forthat day and couldn't take my case. One wanted 10k and made a bunch of lofty promises about how I'm "definitely going to beat this thing" before I had even told him the details of my case, the guy sounded like a used car salesman.
When Tom picked up, I told him the details of my case, he agreed to take my case, and didn't make any promises he couldn't keep. He answered my emails quickly, usually within a few hours, and would always get back to me quickly if I left him a message. He kept me calm and we walked through the steps of defending my case, and in the end, the charge was dropped. I hope I never have to hire a criminal defense attorney again, but I know who I'll call if I do. Thank you Tom :)

I was looking for a potential lawyer for a breach of contract case and came across Nathan on avvo. I sent an email to his firm describing my situation and we scheduled a phone call during which Nathan explained where I stand, my options and having that information made it very easy for me to plan my next step. I ended up not hiring Nathan because from an option stand point hiring a lawyer doesn't really make sense. If I need to hire a lawyer in the area on Nathan's firm I would be going there first, he is great.

Couple of months after I submitted my case to the USCIS. I have gotten into a car accident. Since my licenses were international I got into serious troubles and was facing a potential jail time & possible compromise of my immigration case. My Lawyer (Valarie) at that time; when she heard the news, she took over that case absolutely no charge and went to court with my twice! Eventually, she got the case dismissed and my immigration case was approved on time. I would recommend that compassion and professionalism to everyone I know.

I contacted Ms. Crow for advice on handling a matter involving a company; I reached her approximately 30 minutes prior to a call I had with the other party. Ms. Crow took my call immediately, listened to a brief summary of the situation, and provided clear, concise points for me to consider during the discussion. We agreed that I would provide subsequent follow-up. Ms. Crow’s suggestions were excellent, the call was successful, and I hired her to represent me in negotiations; the matter was resolved in my favor.
Ms. Crow was always responsive, by phone and email, her work was excellent, she was friendly, patient, and sympathetic, and her fees were reasonable. I would strongly recommend her for personal representation in business matters.

I hired attorney Carima to handle my case. She was great. Christine is very knowledgeable was always professional and prepared. I know nothing about divorce and was scared and upset. She id very easy to talk to and calmed me down; answered all my questions. She got me the best outcome that I could have asked for. Chris was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I was in need of legal advice for a matter regarding pet custody (yes pets, not children), and he gave me his time and expertise and advised me on numerous solutions and paths to take. I really lucked out, because he has actually dealt with this type of issue in the past. I left feeling confident, and I am no longer scared of what to expect should my issue escalate. He was funny, educated, and patient with all of my questions. While I hope I do not ever need legal services again, if I do, I will confidently go back. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Based on how he carried himself, and how he offered multiple options and how they may play out, I would recommend him for other types of custody / divorce issues as well. I did not feel pressured or rushed, and everything he said was clear and well laid out to me.

Atty Matt Karr is excellent. He spent the time to understand our need for a credit bypass trust. He explained the process in clear declarative English rather than legalese. I feel that his fee was very reasonable. He supported his documents with a video explaining everything so that I could replay it if I had questions. We spoke to other lawyers that charged more and some that charged less. It is very hard to compare prices like buying a car. I recommend that you meet with Matt before selecting an attorney. BTW trusts are his specialty not just another work product.

Attorney Paul Moraski is THE BEST criminal defense lawyer! When my son was falsely accused of a crime that he didnt commit and all the cards were stacked against him, we felt defeated. We called multiple lawyers and had multiple consultations and each lawyer agreed to take his case but they all wanted him to plead guilty. This would have meant my son pleading guilty for something he didn't do, having a permanent conviction record, possible jail time, license suspension, fines, and court fees. I understand that this was the fastest, easiest, and least costly way out but this would have had a huge negative effect on my sons life and his career. He would not being able to work in his profession and run his current business. He worked so hard to get where he is by going to college, his internships and now owning and running his own business. This entire ordeal was a devastating blow to my family and we were so blessed and grateful that we found Paul! ( He asked us to call him Paul during our first meeting) We knew from the first consultation that we needed to hire him! He was the first lawyer out of many that believed in my son and believed we had a strong case and didn't want him to just plead guilty. This entire thing was foreign territory for us. Paul was very knowledgeable through the entire process, he explained things to us in detail and kept my family in the loop the entire way during my sons case. We couldnt afford to retain a lawyer, but Paul worked with us on payment plans! Paul was very professional in and outside of court and is also a very sharp dresser! Casey is awesome. He always made time for me, even the times when I was “venting out loud,” acting as not only my lawyer, but even as a therapist/friend. I was surprised when I received my itemized bill, noticing there was several instances that times charged were less than they actually should have been. I hired him in the middle of an open family court case, which isn’t ideal for any attorney. During this time, I went through a financial hardship, as I made a huge career change going from a job with weekly pay, to a commission only career. Over the course of one weekend, I suddenly found both of my elderly parents in the hospital. One of them would need to move into a nursing home almost immediately as the other recovered. Only, I had no clue how to even begin this process. An event like this is emotionally draining, and now, needing to quickly find a nursing home on top of this, was overwhelming. The nursing homes are ready to take patients, eager for them. Bring them on, private pay! Only going to cost you thousands of dollars a month. Easy.
When I called Spencer Ghazey-Bates, this is where I was, completely lost and overwhelmed, prepared for my parents to lose a lifetime of gathered assets within the year. After getting off the phone, this all changed.
I had a plan of action. I had reassurances from an expert that has done this time and time again for other families. Atty Matt Karr is excellent. He spent the time to understand our need for a credit bypass trust. He explained the process in clear declarative English rather than legalese. I feel that his fee was very reasonable. He supported his documents with a video explaining everything so that I could replay it if I had questions. We spoke to other lawyers that charged more and some that charged less. It is very hard to compare prices like buying a car. I recommend that you meet with Matt before selecting an attorney. BTW trusts are his specialty not just another work product.
