First I would like to say Irma in the office was by far the best. In moments where I was anxious or concerned she made sure all of my questions and concerns were addressed. My attorney was Ryan King. From the beginning he was knowledgeable and straight forward. He made sure that I understood how the process was going and what I needed to do. He got me the best arrangement for my charges and I definitely came away pleased. What made the experience A+ was that no matter where at in the process I was at Mr. king has always taken time to call or set up appointments to talk.
I would 10/10 recommend Ryan King for anyone that needs legal assistance.

Much like some other reviewers, my father passed without a will. Everything seemed to be in order until my siblings and I each received a letter that was concerning...and none of us knew what to do about. We tried the route of "look it up online", but all it did was cause more confusion. I reached out to Mr. Jones' office and explained my situation. Mr. Jones called me back in a timely manner, provided us with much needed guidance, and put us at ease. I have not had many dealings with attorneys, but the few that I have were not nearly as satisfactory as this. I had prepared myself mentally to pay SOME amount of money for his time, but Mr. Jones did not charge me for his "priceless" advice. I was treated with respect, and I feel like he genuinely cared about my situation...much like I was a long time client. I hope this doesn't come across as some "mindless, can do no wrong, glowing review". I am not the review leaving type, and for me to do this says something. As I get older and have a family of my own, Mr. Jones will be the one to handle my estate planning.

My father died without a will and had property out of state. This was a complicated matter that my family and I have been trying to resolve since 2012. I called Mr.Jone's office explaining my situation. Mr.Jones called me back within 30mins and listened our case. Mr.Jones genuinely cared about our situation and took it upon himself to call the attorney we were working with in Louisiana. Something that took us 2 years to resolve; with Mr.Jone's help we were able to resolve the matter in less then 2 weeks. We all have stereotyped lawyers and attorneys and I will tell you that Mr.Jones was either. Since there wasn't any paper to be done in Texas, Mr.Jones and his office did not charge for his time and efforts in resolving our issue. This is unheard of in today's society and it put my faith back in humanity. There are individuals that truly care about your situation and not looking to make a quick buck. I cannot thank Mr.Jones enough for his efforts and I would highly recommend anyone needing a probate lawyer to contact Mr.Jones. Thank you!

Mr. Thomas met with me on extremely short notice and provided me with the legal counsel that I desperately needed. I was approaching the end of a contract that I believed to be shady, (it demanded a high contract-breaking fee), and I wanted to know if it was legal to hold me to the amount given my current situation. Mr. Thomas walked me through three different avenues of contract termination without providing a bias towards any. When I sought his personal opinion, the choice ended up being the one that was in my best interest. I highly recommend Mr. Jacob Thomas; he is a gentleman and a scholar and I will definitely rely on his services in the future.

I have worked with Mark Walsh on several cases in the past. The most recent was a multi-party construction contact, in which we were sued by the General Contractor and then we countersued. Eventually, the suit included numerous parties, (Consulting Engineer, General Contractor, several Sub-Contractors and Material Suppliers). In working with Mark in the past, it was easy to recognize his capabilites regarding law, however, i had not, before this case, spent time with him in a mediation. During this multi-party suit, i saw abilities in Mark that i had not seen before. During the mediation, he showed proficiency in presenting technical issues (I am a Civil Engineer, and this case involved technical Civil Engineering issues), but more importantly, he was direct, strong, though fair, and unbending with the mediator when he needed to be. At the conclusion of the mediation, i felt we received an award in an amount well in excess of the amount i anticipated, and felt that was due to the approach that Mark took throughout the mediation. There is law, and then there is the application of law in the various settings (court, mediation, arbitration, etc), the ability to stress the critical points at the appropriate time, and the ability to negotiate, and the knowledge and experience when not to negotiate down from your position. As i said, i felt i had seen Mark's capabilities in the field of law before this case, however, as a result of this case, i saw a broader view of his capabilities in this field, and feel even more comfortable because of that going forward.

Mark handled a complex legal dispute I had with a contractor. The result was he negotiated a settlement that included post-judgment collection costs. As with many legal issues, there are several strategies to consider. Mark made sure I understood all possible outcomes and would provide several different ways to tackle each step. He spent my retainer wisely, and I definitely got my money's worth. In addition, he has a competent, detail-oriented staff who cares about a client's case. Every call or email was returned promptly throughout the entire process. Mark has business expertise, too, so I hired him to form a second business I started in 2012. If I ever have any kind of legal issue, Mark is the first person I will call. I trust his advice, and definitely would hire him again.

I was looking for an attorney and overheard someone mention his name. I asked for references and found out very quickly that Barnett wins, and he wins a lot. He met with me and my mother and explained the entire process to us. I have no experience with Barnett outside what I witnessed during my fathers trial in which he was accused of very haineous allegations. While watching Barnett in the court room, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that he was dedicated to justice and would stop at nothing to see it served. His presence in the court room is very strong and he conducts himself with the utmost respect for the courts. We were sued by an individual over a house that we worked on as new construction. Mr Saunders was able to beat them in court the first time with no problem. After the individual dropped the suit in Denton County, he refiled in Dallas County. We went through 22 months of litigation, and again, with the help of Mr. Saunders, we were successful in the outcome. Then they sued us a third time in Dallas County for a personal injury that they tried to tie to the house that had alleged defective plumbing. Mr. Saunders was successful that round, as well.
I have worked with several attorneys in the past, and Mr Saunders is among the best. His professionalism is unsurpassed. He is extremely responsive to the needs of his client, and keeps the client updated throughout the case. Even during busy times when I had to leave a message, my call was returned in a timely manner. I highly recommend him!

After we filed a mechanic lien on a property, where we weren't paid by the investor, we put the account into collections. The collections company drag the case and was only able to get us a fraction of the amount owed. Our practice hired Daniel Jones to help with multiple complex issues involving contracts that were detrimental to our practice. I thought we would lose our business and our home. With his expertise we were able to terminate the contracts and did not lose anything. Daniel is very knowledgeable, efficient, down to earth and was quick to respond to our endless questions. He could have easily charged us significantly more money but advised us of the most cost efficient route. I highly recommend his services.

I had a legal disagreement with another party involving non payment and a contract dispute. I wanted to see if I could resolve the issue on my own but after months of failed attempts it was clear the other party wouldn’t budge. I contacted Dan as it was clear I needed legal help collecting the money. After consulting with Dan and providing my records, he was able to find additional money I was owed. Over the course of a couple weeks Dan made full payment demand on my behalf and corresponded with the other party citing several legal case decisions in my favor. Eventually after some back-and-forth, the other party caved providing the entire full payment to me plus my attorney costs. Luckily, I was unable to resolve the matter on my own and hired Dan. Otherwise, I would’ve received much less than I was owed.

D. Brandon Epperson has respresented us for multiple cases. He has always been very honest, even when it wasn't what we may have wanted to hear. The experience with my lawyer was a very enlightening experience. He and his staff were very professional and very responsive. I would hire them again in a heart beat...but I would also realize that I would have my pocketbook open to pay for the attention. That was my enlightenment experience. Each phone call...each email...each interaction had a charge to it. But again...it was a business transaction and my completed case got me more than I had expected...so the unplanned expense was well worth it for the long run.

The following is my opinion:
I would not recommend using this firm. I retained them to pursue a claim against a strip mall landlord for breach of contract. They asked for a $5,000 retainer ($2,500 of which was non-refundable). I sent them all of the information they requested. I waited for weeks and heard nothing. I contacted them multiple times for a status report, and was told that they were working on it. I finally got a draft letter to the landlord that was written in general terms, and they admitted the letter would likely get ignored. I was nickle and dimed for every little thing. It cost over $1,700 for a letter that I could have written. My advice is to seek legal counsel elsewhere.

I was parked at a gas pump, and semi came through wrong entrance, side swiping and demolitioned my vehicle...the driver gave false information to not only me but the cop. My case was a very complicated one; there was a criminal case going on, a civil/family case, and I was being sued. Needless to say, it was beyond ugly! On top of that, my first lawyer, despite the fool proof ammo she was given, she not only not only failed miserably, but gave the opposing council and my ex the upper hand. Long story short, Montgomery had to do some serious damage control to even let it be an even playing field. I've never seen anything like him in the courtroom!! He is calm, tactful, assertive, compassionate, aggressive, patient,... whatever he needs to be. He's a pitbull in the courtroom! Unlike anything I've seen, or have even ever heard of! Him and his team are absolutely remarkable! They gave me my life, and more importantly, my family back! I hope I never need a lawyer again, but if I do, Montgomery's my man! The following is my opinion:
I would not recommend using this firm. I retained them to pursue a claim against a strip mall landlord for breach of contract. They asked for a $5,000 retainer ($2,500 of which was non-refundable). I sent them all of the information they requested. I waited for weeks and heard nothing. I contacted them multiple times for a status report, and was told that they were working on it. I finally got a draft letter to the landlord that was written in general terms, and they admitted the letter would likely get ignored. I was nickle and dimed for every little thing. It cost over $1,700 for a letter that I could have written. My advice is to seek legal counsel elsewhere.

When I hired David Haynes (extremely low in cost) on a Class C misdemeanor charge. David Haynes told me to plead no contest; (which I thought was the same as pleading guilty) and I knew I had a recorded conversation of the man that filed the false charges; of said man saying "I broke my window; you saw me do it; but your the one going to jail for it, I love it". So, I refused to plead no contest. When I didn't plead no contest and I said "not guilty"; I was immediately arrested; finger printed; and Haynes came to get me in the back room for me to go to my other case that Haynes wasn't involved in. A bad apple; told me to hire Doug Mulder; to appeal and enter the solid evidence of the con artist saying "I broke my window; you saw me do it; but you are the one going to jail for it; I love it". I paid Doug Mulder (high profile criminal defence attorney) $5,000 and gave him the "recording that proved my innocence". Doug Mulder and John Nation Attorney claimed that the appeal was filed in the wrong county; and yet there was a trial in the right county; and Mulder and Nation didn't enter the only evidence needed to prove my innocence. I went to jail for 10 days. I now have a record; whereas if I had done what DAvid Haynes said to do; plead no contest and hope that someone actually signs what DAvid Haynes said I would get "three months deferred ajudification; that would have been a far better outcome for me. In closing; I would tell anyone to hire David Haynes; make sure before you plead no contest that the States offer is in writing; and don't ever think that a more expensive attorney is going to be a better attorney. The only negative that I experienced with Haynes; is that 4 times I told him that I'm not taking a plea; I want to go to trial because there's a bigger picture; Haynes just wouldn't say " okay trial it is; and that will cost me more". All people should be highly skeptical of people of Power. Trust no one is a good motto. The world if filled with trickery. I will never know if I would have actually gotten Deferred Ajudification or Not. But; I still question this: that when I plead "not guilty"; and I didn't sign to a plea agreement; then; "why was I immediately arrested and finger printed"?

I hired Marcus in 2003 to represent me the lawyer have me shock probation. Marcus failed to do the paperwork on time as well as show up for court 1/5/2004 when my shock probation time was up. Because the time limited ran out I was not eligible for shock probation and had to finish my prison sentence.
