Mr. Estavillo consulted with me in a predatory foreclosure matter. He was succinct and sincerely wants to help the homeowners who were wrongly foreclosed.
His focus on the San Francisco/Oakland area makes his work even more impactful as predatory foreclosures are aggressive here. The homes are valuable and the lives of the homeowners almost irreversible changed if these foreclosures happen.
I am seriously considering hiring Mr. Estavillo. I would recommend anyone to contact his office if they suspect they are targets of predatory foreclosures.

My wife and I paid him $7500 all I really needed was for him to get a city police officer that is keeping us from our home to stop meddling cause he ( the cop ) is trying to help an agency squat our home but instead Mr Estavillo started reviewing recorded deeds from the county over billed us so he can keep the remainder of the retainer and if that wasn’t bad enough he was reviewing the wrong person all together and at the end just abandoned us. Good thing I know how to read title I transferred our title in to a trust and perfected title but the city cop is still keeping us from our home. That’s wrong Mr Jason Estavillo. Unfortunately I have to say I know he does know real estate, foreclosure and civil law and he is a great lawyer cause I call it as I see it. I just don’t understand why he didn’t want to help us when we paid him.

My divorce was a difficult time for my entire family, not unlike the death of a loved one.
I was very fortunate to have an old family friend, a lawyer, refer me to Deborah Dubroff . The first time I met Deborah, I knew I was in good hands and I felt a wave of relief wash over me. My first impression of Deborah was that she was knowledgeable, a hard worker, ethical, respectful, professional, patient, nonjudgmental and empathic. During our first meeting Deborah went thru the entire process, told me how to make the best use of our time, kept me focused, reassured me that I was not going to lose custody of my children and that things were going to be ok.
My impression has not changed.
After our initial meeting Deborah requested information and forms to be filed out, which I sent her, appeared in court as required and throughout the divorce process provided me timely updates until my cases conclusion.

Mr Daley represented me in a California 290 sex offender registration problem. I was cited for not properly registering. Mr. Daley was able to present enough information and evidence to the judge in pre-trial that the DA dismissed the case. I hired Mr. Daley of the Innocence Legal Team last year (2012). My case was quite unique as there was virtually no case law relating to my situation. Mr. Daley was in constant communication with me in regards to the approach we had to take in order to resolve my issue. He explained to me in detail every aspect of what had to be done, how it would be done and other avenues we may have had to take if our initial case argument wasn't given merit through the case law available at the time. Mr. Daley did an outstanding job of finding pertinent case law that pertained to my situation and was proficient in representing me in court. The outcome was favorable for us and I can not thank him enough for his hard work.
I found Mr. Daley to be honest, communicative and extremely capable in his profession. I have dealt with several other attorneys who were unwilling or unable to provide the same high level standard I expect and received from Mr. Daley. His integrity is beyond reproach based on my experience with him. Mr. Daley has a genuine desire to help and defend people with his legal expertise. When things got stressful, confusing or didn't go as planned (rescheduled court dates, etc....) he took the time to sit down in person or over the phone with me and my family and calm us all down.
Mr. Daley returned all of my phone calls and e-mails promptly. Communication is the most important factor to me and Mr. Daley provided that, even going above and beyond what I expected from dealings with other attorneys. He is an excellent attorney and has a great team behind him as well. I have personally recommended him to several friends and family members should they ever need an attorney. My experience with C.W. Goodroe (Christopher) was positive from the start. Being new to litigation of any kind, I had no idea what to expect of the process. Mr. John Kirke provided outstanding legal services as I was being sued by a much larger company who was trying to drown me in legal paperwork, a term called "crib death." Mr. Kirke was able to identify a significant weakness in their case and exploited that weakens into a very favorable settlement for me. Let's face it: you never want to have to hire an attorney. But when someone has done you wrong and you need a sword, or someone else is coming after you and you need a shield, you have no choice.
When I end up in those situations, the two most important things I look for in an attorney is their deep knowledge of the law and an ability to understand the economics of the case. Richard does both of these better than any other attorney I have worked with.
In one case he handled for me his deep knowledge of the law allowed us to obtain critical damning evidence and present it to the judge while keeping it from the person who filed a frivolous claim against me. This tactic allowed us to win the case before we walked into the courtroom.
Most legal affairs boil down to money, and Richard understands clearly how the legal costs fit into the overall financial equation. In another case he handled for me he recommended a strategy that resulted in smaller fees for his firm, but was appropriate for the issue, and we won.
The last thing you want is to win the dispute, but spend so much in legal fees to win that you end up losing. Several lawyers with whom I have worked take this approach and do everything to maximize their billings. Richard doesn't do that - you can trust him to set the right legal and economic strategy for the issue and execute accordingly.
I hope that you never have to hire an attorney, but if you do, I strongly recommend that you hire Richard. I have worked with him several times over the last 20 years and gotten great results every time.
