I spent 18 yrs dealing with attorneys who did nothing to assist me in my nightmare with my ex-wife putting me further and further into debt and despair. Every time I turned around the ex was taking me back to court for one reason or another regardless that she received a excellent support and extra expense funds from me, even when our boys lived with me full time for a year. Over the years I had numerous attorneys, none who fought for me or even cared about the truth. None of them went into court prepared to fight, to prove the truth. For example, my ex took me to court stating I owed over $1000 in back child support. This was false as the money was automatically taken out of my paycheck each pay period. My attorney at that time told me it was only $1000 and I should just pay it. He was fired. The years continued with similar attorneys, even those I spent more money on because they weren't local. Every time we would go to court I would be the one that put hours into going over financial statements and bills for myself and I would constantly have to whisper in my attorney's ear during court letting them know what was being said wasn't true and that my ex was lying about her financial situation., Nothing was said, nothing changed and I had to sit there while the judge bought the lies and deceit and awarded her more money each time. I ended up having to work 2 side jobs while holding down a full time career, so my new wife and I could survive. My ex was engaged living in his home paying his double mortgage payments each month to pay his home off quicker because they had all of my money on top of theirs. Not to mention the injustice because in court she claimed she paid a high priced mortgage but it was not her home and it was high priced because by choice, they were paying double. No attorney, prior to Ms. Gorham, ever brought that out in court. At one time, with the incorrect advice of a previous attorney, I ended up over paying my ex $15000 in a 3 year span and a judge awarded it was a "gift". Frustrated, at the end of my rope, I found and retained Sarah, not really having any expectations. All I can say is WOW! Sarah kept me informed with every little detail, she took notes and went over every little thing that others had ignored. I was shocked at how well she went over all the financial statements I made, as well as my ex's. This was typically never done by any previous attorney. Ms. Gorham remembered details that I had not and it was all brought out in court...even finding my ex-wife in contempt (something no other attorney attempted to do). Sarah not only won my case but with the truth finally out in the open, even the judge apologized for what I had been through. I still can't believe I finally had justice and I am forever grateful. Sarah is caring, thorough, professional and diligent and I would highly recommend her. During my 18 years of constant battles with an ex-wife I gave up on getting a fair shot in court, until Sarah came to represent me. I tell everyone I know about her and what an excellent attorney and person she truly is

Jeff was quick to respond to ALL my emails. Sometimes if I sent him an email late on Friday he would return them on his weekend. As most people know workers Compensation cases take quite awhile to become finalized. You really get to know your lawyer when things take 18 to 24 months to resolve. Jeff was great all the way thru. I would recommend him to anyone who has a Workers Comp- case or other legal claims.
My Workers Comp case was NOT A LARGE one, but Jeff made me feel like I was a important as someone who had a much larger case. Thanks again to Jeff Bert and the Brooks law firm of Rock Island, IL.

She took no information down about my case, I had to ask to meet and discuss , I brought up my concern that she was not taking my case seriously to which she told me she doesn’t see anything she can do to help or that there will be success. I told her I would have to find an attorney that would take my case seriously and wanted to get a refund of my retainer , she then sent me the charges and said I was in a deficit and now owed her money and charged me $300 per email which was fabricated . I am completely disappointed in her services and would definitely do your research before hiring her and making sure she will actually work for you.

My attorney, Tionn, is the best lawyer ever in the QC area! I’ve been with her since 2021. I had a more complicated divorce situation and contacted a lot of attorneys in the QC area. My experience with a previous lawyer before meeting Tionn was the worst, and I felt like I was standing on the edge. Then I met Tionn, who was like an angel sent from God.
Tionn listened intently to what I said, supported, and cheered me on. It was tough to prepare for divorce while I was in school, but I trusted Tionn and her paralegal, Rhoda. Both are so nice, kind, humble, and very intelligent. I divorced in 2021, and Tionn helped me get what I wanted from the court.
I met Tionn again in 2023 for the termination of parents' rights. I asked her for help, and we started working together again. Tionn is a bright and intelligent attorney. She could see further steps and details. She is an active listener as well. I won both of my cases with Tionn. Honestly, I did not want to write this review because I only wanted to know about her. Haha! But if someone who is struggling with divorce with custody, and looking for a lawyer, don't hesitate to get in touch with Tionn, and she is the person who you need!

I was fortunate enough to have hired Ms. Bailey to represent and defend me in a complex family law case. It is important to note that I live in another state and the outcome of the case in IL would ultimately impact my family law case where I reside as it relates to jurisdiction (where the case will be heard) for child custody and divorce. From the start, Ms. Bailey was professional, communicated clearly and effectively (i.e., as a speaker and listener), kept me informed, answered all my questions, and was well organized. She was very knowledgeable, resourceful, and provided great advice through the whole process which helped ease my mind. In addition, Ms. Bailey was compassionate and genuinely cared about me and my family.
Ms. Bailey went above and beyond her expectations as an attorney as evidenced by meeting with me remotely on weekends so that I did not have to take off from work, meeting with me on Christmas day to help me prepare for court that was scheduled the day after Christmas, and even offering to pick me up from the airport when I flew in to IL on Christmas eve. At no time did I feel like I was rushed by Ms. Bailey or that she needed to get to her next client while meeting with her. Instead, Ms. Bailey was patient and took the necessary time to understand my unique situation so she could represent me properly.
During the trial Ms. Bailey made sure that all the necessary paperwork was prepared (i.e., written materials were clear and presented in a logical manner) and submitted on time. She was a strong advocate and assertive in the courtroom. Ms. Bailey was able to successfully defend me in court through her thorough preparation, attention to detail, persuasive speaking, and her ability to adapt to changing situations that occurred during the trial.
Overall, I am forever grateful to Ms. Bailey for her legal help and highly recommend her if you need someone to represent you.

He is very knowledgable and respected in the court system. He takes the time to answer your questions or concerns. It can be frustrating to get all points across over the phone along
with making sure he has all documents to be discussed in front of him. At some point we thought he is not fully getting our concerns and thoughts on case and then during deposition he knew exactly what to say and when to say it. He does his research on your case and will nail it when time comes. If he thinks a issue is not worth bringing up in court he is straight forward and suggest not to . He is about being fair.
Front desk receptionist was kind and professional. Would recommend this attorney in custody cases. Some may think he is abrasive and rude..he is an attorney. You want him to be in court if he needs to be.
