I highly recommend Susan as a divorce attorney. When my divorce process was going nowhere and I had a little over a month before pre-trial, I decided to call Susan to represent me. I was nervous about firing an attorney that had already spent 10 months working on what should have been a very simple dissolution of marriage. I'm so glad I did fire my previous attorney because Susan got me to point where I was actually getting a fair settlement and we never went to trial. Have never used a lawyer before, but Mr. Lemley was highly recommended to me by a friend. Tom explained the disability process to me in detail, and was very patient with me, as I had a lot of questions and concerns. He told me what I could expect, answered all my questions, kept me up to date on the process, and gave an approximate timeline on a result. Mr. Lemley was always there for me whenever I needed him, and ALWAYS returned my phone calls or e-mails, usually in less than an hour. Dnr has been accepting operating permits for concentrated animal feeding operations even when it is shown they are acting against the peoples needs to protect themselves and their environmental natural resources from potential pollution . Stephen has represented us against this giant issue and has gallantly put every best effort to protect us from this potential pollution by appealing dnr and helping create positive reform and protection against these cafos. He has true grit and fierce determination . In the appeal hearing i felt Stephen could have been the teacher of the other attorneys. My journey through the judicial system in Illinois was not easy. My husband was attacked and later died from the injuries. The attacker was charged and after 5 plus years of trial postponements the attacker was acquitted. I couldn't find an attorney that would represent me in the civil suit until I found Luke. Luke took the case knowing it was not a slam dunk. When Joe (the attacker) was acquitted I expected Luke to tell me there was no hope for the civil suit and walk away. Instead Luke searched the court transcripts, connected the dots from the criminal trial and negotiated a settlement for me. During the process Luke kept me informed, he explained the difficulties of the case, what I could expect and really understood how difficult this process was for me. He guided me through the process making sure I didn't settle too soon for too little. The settlement can't bring Don back, nothing can. But now my family and I have closure and we can move forward. Six years after my home was built I hired a outdoor sprinkler company to install there system. One week latter I discovered that a finished section of my basement was flooded.
I met with the insurance company that covered this company and showed them the damage. At that time the insurance company inspector told me that the damage was not there fault. He said that the company that built my home was at fault.
By now I had a local plumber dig up the area that the system connected to my water source found the leak and had the pictures to prove that the system was not properly installed and was leaking into my foundation wall causing the flooding.
I hired Ken Heinz. After a series of phone calls and letters Ken got the insurance company to pay for the entire cost of redoing my basement...new carpet, drywall, wood trim and paint.
I along with my entire family have used Ken for wills,trusts and real estate transactions.
