"I can't speak highly enough of Attorney Allan Friedman. I randomly found his page doing a Google search. The entire experience, from the first time I called him asking for help until the very end, was EXCEPTIONAL. During our first encounter, he couldn’t take my child juvenile case, but he took the time to pass on my information to one of his colleagues who could help. Being clueless, in a panic and a court appearance in a couple of days and I went with another firm. THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE! I ended the contract with Ruane Law Firm (whom I paid) when my child’s case shifted to adult court; I lost complete faith. My gut and heart led me back to Attorney Friedman, who was my first choice. He immediately showed complete COMPASSION, PROFESSIONLISM, and most importantly made me feel at EASE. His approach and friendly demeanor far exceeded my expectations. His experience is INVALUABLE. I can’t say enough about Mark Sherman, Christine, and their incredible team. My stepfather was facing two 20-year charges—First Degree Manslaughter and First-Degree Assault. The stakes couldn’t have been higher. Mark Sherman, Christine, and the team achieved the seemingly impossible, reducing the charges to misconduct with a Motor Vehicle—a charge that still carried a potential 5-year prison sentence—and yet they managed to secure no jail time for my stepfather. The team had the manslaughter and assault charges dropped. While he did receive 3 years of probation and a 3-year loss of his CDL, the outcome was far better than we ever could have hoped for.
Our family went through hell for about 8 years because of this case. The toll it took on my family, especially my mother, was unbearable at times. I’m lucky she’s still alive to celebrate this win with us after everything we have been through.
Years ago, when I was desperately searching for help. I found Mark Sherman through a google search. I was heartbroken and emotionally drained. From the very first conversation, Mark, Christine, and their team were compassionate, understanding, and willing to fight for us in a way no one else was.

The services provided by Mr. Mark Sherman's office were a blessing, and worked very well for us. We had no experience with legal issues, and since our situation was severe and needed immediate attention, we couldn't formulate any plans, but needed to work toward a solution right away. After describing the problem over the phone, Mr. Sherman provided immediate guidance to begin dealing with the situation promptly and properly, as well as alternative options.
As Mr. Sherman advised, it is a slow process, over two years in our case. Nonetheless, his experience, attention to detail, and thoroughness, provided the guidance to work through the necessary steps and resolve the situation to a more favorable outcome. Of course, on our end, the process was not without a great deal of worry, anxiety, and the feeling that one may not endure the situation to the end. And, just to mention, my usual thoughts of "I always worry when I have to depend upon someone else", were never an issue with Mr. Sherman or his office. Our hope and faith in Mr. Sherman were very well placed, as no misteps occurred or additional problems ensued.
We highly recommend his office. His staff were always on top of things, and Mr. Sherman was always available whenever the processes were taking their next steps. "I am an experienced paramedic, with awards and decorations, with over 20 years of experience. Recently I was terminated from my empowerment through no fault of my own. I had applied for unemployment compensation and was denied. I reached out to Attorney Lasko . After a through and extensive consultation with Attorney Lasko, where he was able to analyze my termination and give me a firm understanding of what my legal rights were as to wrongful termination and unemployment benefits, I retained Attorney Lasko. Attorney Lasko was able to put together an highly effective letter that was sent to my former employer which resulted in my re-employment and the winning of unemployment benefits in the appeal process that covering unemployment benefits for the time I was out of work.. Although it is Attorney Lasko’s policy not to guarantee results, the results he obtained for me through keen insight, quick action, and years of tempered experience as he negotiated with my former employer were beyond any expectation I may have had.

Attorney Lasko was one of three attorneys referred to me by Outten & Golden. I hired Attorney Lasko, because he was prompt and proactive. He helped devise an exit strategy from my former employer, then navigate through the separation, which was done so amicably. Moreover, I was able to successfully secure the maximum severance package allowable from my former employer on the terms that I desired. Before I worked with Steve, I was informed the process of my case may take months on end. After consulting with and hiring Steve we were able to receive a no contest and win the case in about a month. I was super impressed with his effectiveness and diligence. FINRA is tough to deal with no matter how you spin it, but Steve was able to be in contact with them on a frequent basis. Mr. Seeger was recommended to me by a friend a work, and I must say he was excellent and helping me straighten out my automotive/ driving permit legal issues.
I was facing what I considered to be a serious reckless charge though not a DWI. Not a serious charge but nonetheless, through his advice and counsel, I was able to rectify my issues and allowed me to retain my permit and keep working without having to turn to public transport.

We utilized Mr. Burdett over the course of 4 years after having had a bad experience with another lawyer. He is well versed in the law but is also well respected by his peers and the judges, putting him in a position to negotiate or take a stand as needed. He is very effective at litigating and retains details as needed to react on his feet to counter arguments. That being said, he does not waste time or money on frivolous motions and billing. He tries to find the most effective way to solve the problem at hand and works at it efficiently. I highly recommend him, especially in cases that involve children and that may be more complex.
