I cannot say enough good things about Carlos and his team at the Leon Law Firm. None of us ever expect to be in a situation where you need the services of a personal injury attorney, but it’s where I found myself after being in a car accident that was not my fault. I’m so thankful that a friend told me about Carlos and made me call his office. My relatively ‘small’ accident, at least in my mind, was treated like it was the most important case the firm had. From the moment I walked into the door, every single person I encountered met me with a smile and walked me through every aspect of the process of fixing my car and most importantly, fixing ME! I had no idea where to begin, but with the Leon Law Firm you don’t have to know, because they do! They recommended the best treatments with great doctors and therapists, haggled with the appraisers over my repairs, dealt with insurance on my behalf. They did everything. I hired him because my ex was trying to get full custody of my children. I told him then I wanted to go for full custody for my son. We ended up in mediation the ex dropped the full custody and changed kids pick up time and address for pick. I asked him why can’t we just go for full custody and he said it’s because she did the modification and since she backed down I’m good. After signing I asked when can I go back for custody and child support he said wait about 6 months cause a Judge doesn’t like to see you too soon. Well it took them 5months to get the Judge signature and I decided to file myself to find out I have to wait a year later from the time the judge signed. The judge said I should have done all of that during the last modification. It didn’t make any difference if she filed the motion. I could gotten my son and child support increase last September. Mr. Brown knew that. I can’t go to the attorney general because I have to wait 3 years from the divorce. I can only use an attorney to get my child support that due and it’s hard to trust them after they take your money and curve the truth.
