Kathy worked with us for months on a challenging and difficult case, to get approval to demolish our Scarsdale home.
It had been designated as historically significant by the Committee for Historic Preservation, and as a consequence we were unable to sell it at any price for over 2 years.
Her strategy was unique, brilliant, and perfectly executed .
We succeeded in getting approval to demolish the house through her efforts, where another lawyer had not.
Her fees were as expected, and were always fair.
We were totally satisfied with her and her support staff.
They were highly professional, always available and responsive, and a delight to work with.

In my lengthy family court matter Dana has been nothing short of a blessing.
Prior to finding her I had 3 previous attorneys and none of them took the time or had nearly the same amount of understanding or compassion that Dana has. She is not only an amazing attorney she is also an amazing person. Family court matters are extremely difficult on a number of levels but she has gone above and beyond. If there were more stars to give, I would definitely award them. I feel so fortunate to have worked with Dana during an extremely challenging time with my ex-husband. Maria Chiodi helped us through a long and drawn out refinancing ordeal. My wife and I are grateful for this stroke of luck to have had her on our side. A previous lender never filed a satisfaction of mortgage from a previous loan and Maria made numerous phone calls on our behalf and sat through long durations of being on hold. When the loan company failed to produce the documents on time (several months into the refinance process), Maria found a work around that allowed us to move forward with the refinance and avoid losing the interest rate. At the closing, she informed us that we need to continue to obtain the satisfaction of mortgage so it doesn't hold up future loans. Anyhow, months later now as my wife and I started thinking about how we'll go about the process, to our amazement, the document showed up in the mail. I e-mailed the news to Maria and come to find out, she had continued to contact the lender after the closing and we have her to thank for taking on the work for us. Her knowledge, experience and professionalism was much appreciated and I happily rate her and Mitchell Pollack and Associates 5 stars.

Hired Jeffrey Bernfeld. He disappeared 3 weeks after collecting payment. He gave me a 30mn call 1 month later pretending he read my case but make several remarks that showed that he clearly did not. Lost $$. He was very satisfied of his work!

I have the pleasure of dealing with Joseph DeMatteo since around 2006, around that time i was cited for a regulatory issue which turned criminal, Mr. DeMatteo ultimately had the case dismissed. In the ensuing years we had some more regulatory issue's in which he had the IBA reverse an agencies Administrative Law Decision . Joseph has handled many issues for my company and myself personally, i have always found him to be responsive, knowledgeable, & extremely thorough, he always picks up the phone if available or at worst calls you back in a timely manner. He drafted contracts that ultimately held up in court when a client defaulted, and i can tell you he has great patience and tact when dealing with some of the most unreasonable opposition parties. Highly recommend!
