Lawrence Markey was my attorney for a potential divorce that I was the respondent to years ago. I believed my separation from my wife was a temporary problem and kept an open mind about my family’s future. Lawrence was a very honest, caring and professional lawyer through every step of the process. He never tried to attack my wife’s character in order to get more than was deserved or needed. In short, he is one of the most moral attorneys I have ever known. Unfortunately had to go through a divorce and had to find a lawyer. When I met Ester she was very kind, listened to my story and gave me most of my options I could proceed with going forward. I wasn’t rushed or hurried in our initial meeting like I had been with other lawyers who wanted large sums just to talk with me for a short period of time and not very helpful with information. As we went through the process of the divorce she kept my emotions in check but did not dismiss them, which was nice knowing she understood where I was coming from, but guided me on the best path to pursue. But when it became apparent that we would have to be aggressive in our actions she definitely was up to it. Trust me when I say she will go toe to toe with any lawyer and will not be bullied around. Whatever you need or want to do she will tell you if it’s good or not then move forward with a plan. I can’t speak highly enough of her and how she helped me through one of the toughest periods of my life. I left feeling immensely satisfied with my agreement and custody and don’t think it could have gone any better

Debra is representing me in my divorce proceedings. My ex wife and her attorney are trying to make every step difficult for me. Constantly intimidating me, falsely making statements, not to mention being unresponsive to emails requesting documents. Debra is a fighter, and she will fight for your interests as if it were her own. During my divorce I was amazed how caring, honest, and compassionate she is with her clients. Everything is working out for me which I thought was near impossible. I truly appreciate the fact that she doesn’t waste any time, is extremely thorough, and most importantly she didn’t let the opposing counsel get away with wasting our time when they disappeared during the remote hearings. In fact today she gave me great news that she asked the Judge to grant a sanction for Attorney fees. I made the best decision to chose her after consulting with several different Attorneys. If you want someone who GETS THINGS DONE…Debra is the only one. I can’t thank her enough for getting me through this turmoil with my ex wife.

Mr. Hammons represented me in my legal suit against a contractor who terminated work on an existing contract without any notification. The contractor was pre-paid for the majority of the contract and had completed only a portion of the work. The law suit was against the contractor's bond to recover pre-paid expenses for unfinished work and the expenses to repair the unfinished work that was damaging the property.
Mr. Hammons was very professional and personable to work with. He also was very efficient in preparing the legal documents to expedite closure of the case.

I hired Beti to represent me in a family dispute that had been brewing and knew would become extremely contentious. To save costs, Beti directed the associate lawyer who later left but then was replaced by another associate attorney, Lorne who was very detail oriented, responsive and capable. I was always advised honestly of what would happen. Beti and Lorne did not escalate any matter in order to pad their bill. Beti is a tough lawyer and not afraid to fight. But she and her associate always gave me the landscape of options and what would happen if I chose one option over the other. And when I did chose an option, they played a strong hand. It was a painfully emotional and protracted ordeal, and in the end, it concluded in a way that I still kept my rights, stopped the one upsmanship with the other side, and my restored my well-being.

I have some issues on my credit report that are illegally on there and I am working on their removal. I have been a one-man sales rep operation over a long career. I wish that I had known Scott Sanders and his team earlier in my career. Since 2020 they have assisted me in an assortment of matters including when I was not paid commissions owed, and when I was compensated to help a U.S. manufacturer which was going out of business sell its production equipment to a manufacturer in Mexico. Sanders was as well-versed in Buy-Sell agreements with foreign corporations as he was in general sales commission disputes, which he quickly resolved and settled. We have a 100% success rate together in these matters, and the firm has contingent fees available to keep legal costs down. Overall, a win-win situation.

Our close cycled was with in 45 days and Richard was always available for questions and new drafts. (We worked weekends when needed, but not sure this is always available). Initially I wanted to give 1 star, but ultimately, I am grateful that attorney Jason Stones was very responsive to me during a time of desperation, extreme stress, and panic- whereas my previous attorney kept me completely in the dark about everything- even as my child custody hearing rapidly approached. He was also able to get my ex's attorney to agree to a PPA with only days to spare until my trial commenced.
Now for the negatives:
During the initial hearing, my ex's attorney was making what felt like direct and personal attacks against me to which I felt didn't get enough pushback from Jason. I didn't feel like he was for me as hard as he should have been.
He also never made a reply declaration to my ex's reply.
My ex made several terrible allegations against me, which resulted in me being investigated by Social Services. Jason didn't do the work to speak with the social worker to find out what the conclusion of that investigation was, or obtain a copy of the report from that investigation. Luckily, I did, and the reports conclusions completely refuted my ex's allegations. After I read the report, I told Jason that we should be submitting this to the court. His response was that we couldn't do that because this was "not an evidentiary hearing."
For me, that was the last straw and I moved on to another law firm with attorney's that DID submit a reply declaration to my ex and DID submit the report from Social Services. I'm not sure how they were able to submit the report even though this was supposedly not an evidentiary hearing. Funnily enough, that very report was brought up repeatedly by the Judge as she admonished my ex for withholding my son from me and now, thanks to a different firm, I have had my visitation restored and joint custody established.

In this review I want to express how glad I am to ask Bruce Mandel and his team to help me navigate the legal system and to handle my paternity case. I considered trying to go through this on my own, but for regular folks like me, it is beneficial to hire an experienced lawyer in family law. Going through a paternity case is lengthy with many forms to fill out that would be incredibly difficult for someone who has not studied law. The terminology used in court and court documents was enough to convince me it was in my best interest to hire a professional.
About the team: Starting with the nice office assistant who answers the phones, she is the first voice you hear when setting up your first consultation and any time you call to ask questions or follow up on your case. She was always very patient and friendly. She would answer my questions if she knew how to answer, but if she didn't have a response for me she would get me in contact with someone who could help me out. Yolanda is the incredibly knowledgeable paralegal that I spoke to the most throughout this process. She was very patient with me when I had questions about the process, my case, follow ups, and what to expect. She was accessible and always made sure to get back to me. Lastly, Bruce Mandel was very honest and straightforward with me starting since the consultation. I let him know my situation and what I was hoping for the outcome of this case. He answered all the questions I had for him as they came up, and I felt comfortable with his advice and the process. I went through my case knowing I was in good hands.
