I hired them cause they were all I could afford after my ex walked out with our savings account. They managed to get the job done but they're were condescending, barely communicated, canceled phone meetings if they just didn't feel like answering my questions, didn't keep me appraised of the progress and were rude and nasty and belligerent when I followed up. They seemed to care more about being buddies with my ex's lawyer than representing me fairly and fighting for me. It was a traumatic divorce already made worse by their attitude. If you can afford any other lawyer, do it. Don't use these guys unless you like being abused and are really desperate for your divorce to be finalized (I was).

Living in another part of Florida and needing a second opinion from an experienced trust litigator I contacted Ms. Sundberg. Since I am involved in a trust but am not the grantor, the local attorney who created the trust had been (rightly so) keeping me a bit at arms length.
Ms. Sundberg was available to take my call and did. She listened patiently while I explained my situation and questions regarding the trust, and my concerns about what might cause an adverse decision to the trust and myself should it be challenged. She then very calmly, but obviously from a place of experience, gave me her take on the pitfalls I might encounter. Importantly, she clearly differentiated between those items and courses of action that were middle of the road and safe and those that might be at the edge of the road and could go either way should the trust go to litigation. That distinction was hugely helpful.
Finally, much like the character in "Miracle on 34th Street" who advises a Macy's customer who couldn't find the item they were looking for at Macy's that they could find it at Gimbels, she pointed out that an attorney who was certified in elder law and practiced in my geographic area would be the best attorney to consult for my remaining questions, since that is where the trust would be litigated if it came to that. Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe is lucky to have her and anyone who needs her assistance in her area of expertise cannot do better.

This review is in regards to Lisa's expertise in Family Law...
Lisa is by far the best attorney I have worked with. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the law, competent, hard-working, determined, reasonably priced and genuinely cares about you and your case. I had an interstate case that was rather complex. After speaking with Lisa, I knew she was the best attorney for the job. I had called about 7 other attorneys and they were all confused about how to go about my case and they were hesitant as to my next step. Not Lisa! Lisa knew exactly what to do! She was an angel. She is also one of the hardest working attorneys I have ever encountered. At no time did I ever feel in the dark about what was going on. She kept me up to date on everything and made sure I knew what was going on at all times. She oftentimes worked from home into the wee hours of the night (thanks Lisa). She managed to do all this within the retainer fee that I paid and my case was DONE. Yes DONE. She tied up all the loose ends of my case even though I wasn't in the state! I’ve been having some difficulty getting in touch with the team at this injury lawyer firm, and I’m feeling quite frustrated. After my case was recently dropped, I’ve been trying to reach someone regarding a payment I sent to them. It was money given to me from the insurance company. I need guidance on how it can be returned to me, so I can pay for my medical expenses and any debts incurred due to the accident. I’ve reached out multiple times through different forms of communication, but unfortunately, I haven't received any response. I understand that things can get busy, but I’m hoping for a bit more clarity and assistance during this process. I’m writing this as a warning for special needs parents who are looking for legal help. We contacted Shay almost two years ago, needing help with a special needs trust and a birth certificate issue. She said she could handle both for us and we paid 3k up front. During the next 18 months, we had to consistently call her office for updates regarding the trust. It took over a year for her to finish writing it, and then when we finally received it, we found she had written the wrong name down for guardianship. A big error!
As for the birth certificate issue, it never got fixed. We would call her office every few weeks for an update. But finally, we just stopped calling and we haven’t heard from her in over 6 months. This entire experience was horrible for us! I’m shocked that her rating is as high as it is on here… We paid her 3k and baaarely got half of what was promised.

I contacted Ms Freitas for a land contract, I have done several real estate transactions in the past, but this contract as so seller biased I had never seen anything like it. Ms Freitas reviewed the contract pointed out a lot of very detailed concerns. I was on a very tight deadline she reviewed and had it back in 48 hours on a holiday weekend no less.
