I will start from the beginning, Angela and her staff have always been professional first and for most but have that personal touch that makes a HUGE difference when dealing with family law matters. What can I say about CH except that he is the perfect hybrid of resilience and compassion. His innate ability to see obstacles in such a unique manner which enables him to figure out a solution no lawyer will see coming is what makes him THE MAN! He won't use a sledgehammer or a huge pogo stick to get through or over the wall.... he simply dissolves the weakest weight - bearing brick of the wall and watches her come tumbling down! My divorce and child custody issue is as messy as it gets. International - possible kidnapping, physical threats - all the pieces for a really good Lifetime made for TV movie. Brilliant is the best way to describe Cody Hayes. I had an extensive, and very complicated child custody case that spanned over several years (I used many different well known attorneys and still did not accomplish my goal). Cody Hayes is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about family law and noticed things that my previous attorneys all missed. Burr is awesome! I was not interested in signing an arbitration agreement at my job and was worried about my companies social media policy. Burr was amazing, he explained the agreement, he explained what minor items might be of concern and also explained why he felt it was fine to sign it. He put my mind at ease both about limiting my rights and how to best avoid controversy with regards to my wish to sidestep my company's social media policy. Not cheap, but completely worth every nickel.

After 21 years at my company I was let go as part of a Reduction in Force along with 200 other co-workers. I was offered a very generous severance package but to receive it I needed to sign a very restrictive non-compete. I hired Mr. Shields based on a referral from a friend. He was fantastic. I was very concerned about keeping my severance and also complying with the non-compete. I hired Kim after interviewing three lawyers. Kim's representation of me was well worth the money I paid. Kim's fees were also the lowest. Kim's knowledge of DUI and her ability to navigate you through are finesse. Kim helped me streamline everything including the car breathalizer, the mandated education classes, DMV proccess & my jail time. Through a couple of Kim's contingency filings I was able to do my tent city time in Apr. not extreme months like July or Dec. I did have a negative & stressful dealing with someone that worked under Kim that I had to work with while she was out of town but all in all I was in very good hands. A few months ago my husband find a bike at work he left the bike against the dumpster and towards the end of his day noone claimed the bike. He brought the bike home posted it on craigslist. He then got in trouble for trafficing stolen property he didnt have no idea the bike was stolen. My husband was looking at 2-7 yrs in prison for his prior convction from 10 yrs ago that the state brought up in his present case. Kimberly wrote a 6 pg letter proving and stating all the facts. Within days the case got dismissed. Thxs to her hard work. Words cant express on how GREATFUL we are.

Kathi is the best attorney ever! I knew halfway through my case that I would be writing Kathi an amazing review regardless of the outcome. She was so great to work with. I am a forty-three-year-old single father who has been fighting for more time with my ten-year-old daughter since her mother ran off with her in 2012. I have had three other attorneys over the past eight years. It was truly a blessing that I met with and hired Kathi. Kathi took the time to get familiar with my past and present court issues. I could tell that she was less concerned with time and money, and more concerned with taking her time to understand exactly what has happened in the past so she could defend and represent me aggressively and in an informed manner. She did such a good job of asking me deep background questions, that at one point I was nervous that she might have been padding the billable hours. When it came time to discuss how much of my retainer was left, I was shocked and pleasantly surprised at how fair she was in billing me. The process was still expensive, but I truly feel like the service I received outweighed the fee she charged. I’m not kidding when I tell you that I am buying her a gift card to a nice restaurant to send her in a thank you card. She was that good. I think the opposing counsel was really bummed out having to deal with Kathi. She is extremely knowledgeable, tough, but fair. She is a good negotiator. In the end, I was awarded far more than I thought possible based on the past eight years of getting ran over by the court system and my daughter’s mother. I now have 50/50 legal decision making and I spend equal time with my daughter on a 5-2-2-5 schedule. My ex fought us right up to the bitter end but ended up settling the case the night before our trial date. There is NO WAY my ex would have settled if I didn’t have Kathi, so she even saved me the expense and stress of testifying on the trial date. I am eternally grateful that God gave me Kathi. I called to set up an appt to create an estate, living will, etc after doing much research on attorneys. I loved every profile I read of her and we had in common teaching in South Korea, so I really wanted to work with her! Each time I called, she was unavailable and would call back at random times, usually 5pm-6pm while driving or outside. In our first call, she said she would email me a link to her client portal so I could upload my documents a week prior to our consult. I never got the link or an email. During our first call, she said "I know it's not lawyerly of me to say this but..." and the advice I got was not related to what I needed. I called her firm the next day asking to speak with her to see if she had the correct email, as I needed the link. She called me back later in the day while driving and I gave her my email again. 6 days passed and no email, so I called to cancel our appt. I was transferred to her cell phone and told her that I wanted to cancel but she made an attempt to continue with the consult. She repeated the email that she had and it was wrong. I spelled out the email to her and I could hear wind noise and a child in the background, so I know she was not taking it down. We agreed that she would call me the next evening at 6:30 and that she would send the link I needed for her to look over my documents prior to our consult. Well, again I never got the email or calendar invite that she said she had. I called the same day to cancel and was again transferred to her but there was no answer and she never called me. Very disappointing.
