Jennifer helped our family when our father, who has dementia, was being mistreated by the hospital. The hospital staff would not allow any of the family to intervene or even access his patient records without a conservatorship in place. Jenna understood the urgency of the matter and put together the documents literally overnight. It still took a bit of time to get everything in place with the court, but Jenna kept us apprised of the process every step of the way. We can't thank her and her staff enough for their quick, compassionate assistance with what was a nightmare situation for our family.

I can't say enough good things about Candace. I met Carsen almost several years ago when I hired her. My case required a special kind of attorney who could think outside of the box, someone who would know how and when to mediate with the other parties, but also when to bring things to a judge. She is always there to coach me and work through the difficult issues that come up with a high tension case. There was a time in my life when I lost all hope of having my son. Desperate, scared and almost hopeless I searched for a lawyer. I had all but given up until I found Carsen Smith. In my first conversation with her she took away my desperation and fear. Before our conversation was over, before I knew how much her representation would cost, I was certain that she was the one. Like some beautiful guardian angel she fought for me and my son, and although the battle was long and difficult and extremely emotional at times. She never lost focus. She never treated me like I was just one client of many. She personalized and internalized everything. She felt what I felt, saw what I was seeing, and cared about my family as much as I did. In the end we won more than I had ever imagined. I stand here today so honored and humbled to know such a beautiful soul. Every night when I hug my son and kiss him good night and say my prayers I always thank god I met her because I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that my son would not be here with me today if it was not for her. Mrs. Simmons wasn’t my first attorney during the custody process But she was the only one that truly watched out for the benefit of all parties involved. There are many attorneys that only want to take the easy cases Cheri took my case which was so entrenched in the courts That I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel and turned it around in a short period of time I have learned through this process that the attorneys hands can be tied if they don’t know how to present the right information. Tim Blaine was retained to represent me by my Personal Liability Insurance Company in a matter where I was being sued. I am a retired FBI Agent who is a bonded and licensed private investigator in California. At one point in his representation, Blaine attempted to force me to settle with the plaintiff against my will, but failed in his attempt. The law suit against me was eventually abandoned after I retained other counsel and I paid no settlement in any manner. Tim Blaine's representation of me was lack luster, and in my opinion, he placed his own interests first, his firm's interests second, and my interests last. At one point he was an eyewitness to another attorney's misconduct and took no action to protect me, or my reputation.
