I am still at the beginning of my case but everything is happening pretty fast. The case manager was able to meet with me the day after I called. We met for about 3 hours so that she could get every last detail of my case and explain to me exactly what they could do for me. The day after we met, she was already making attempts to contact the opposing party to let them know that action is being taken. For some people, this may not seem like much. But she has done more for me in the past few days than my previous attorney did for me in a couple of months. J. Robert Davis Jr. also took the time to meet with me when he was about to start a meeting with another client. I highly recommend working with this attorney.

Immediately after the accident I didn't think anything was wrong. Nothing hurt. It wasn't till after a few weeks that my neck began to ache. I thought of all the attorney names you see on TV and I called a few, but all turned me down. I thought there was no chance of getting any help, I had waited too long according to them. I just completed the most difficult mediation of my career. We literally worked for 22 hours straight. Don Philbin quickly recognized the legal and factual issues involved as well as the unique and challenging personalities that needed to be managed. I broke my wrist when I tripped over a cable in the aisle at Macy's Department Store in Alabama. I live in San Antonio Texas. I only wanted my medical expenses to be paid, but Macy's would not even talk to me. Mr. Karam investigated my claim and all of my medical bills and were paid for, and I got an additional $16,000, this did not include his fee. I did not expect any additional money. Mr Karam took care of the everything and checked on me to see if I got proper medical treatment and that my wrist was completely healed. He handled everthing personally and checked with my family to make sure I was satisfied. After my cast came off my wrist was very stiff and I could not move it. I needed a lot of physical therapy so I can play my violin again with my left wrist. I did not have to pay for the physical therapy. He did a fine job and I am very satisfied.

All of my calls and questions were answered either directly or in an extremely prompt manner. It was especially evident of Attorney Munsinger’s professionalism when I witnessed the manner in which the staff at the adversarial attorney’s office worked with and respected her as well (this was a collaborative divorce case so the work is more collegial in nature). I contacted lang lawfirm based on thier website stating "We often represent the underrepresented: average people and small businesses that have been injured by large corporations and insurance companies."
Their paralegal, Renee, stated that the firm was too busy and referred me to a couple other firms.
Those didn't work out so I went back to see if the firm would change it's mind or it's case load had opened up.
From there it went south.
I explained my situation again to Renee and, again, she shut me down. After multiple exchanges i managed to get a concession of offering a phone call for a full price consult. I found her to be very disrespectful, rude, and insensitive to my situation. Yeah.... Not acceptable.
Thinking it was just a bad interaction, and being a resourceful type of person, I was able to get past Renee and establish comms with Mr. Lang.
Unfortunately it seemed to me that he had much the same attitude and he also refused to meet with me.
All I wanted was a face to face consult and I was offering to pay. Nothing wild or out of the ordinary, however no one from the firm could be bothered to meet with me.
I am not sure how law practice is done in San Antonio but I do know this goes against all the customer service tennants i have ever been taught.
Represent under represented and average people? Hah, yeah right...
This firm is definitely not for me.

Brian Walters expertly guided me through a multi-year custody case that was only resolved after a week-long jury trial was held. At trial, Brian was uniquely able to convey empathy towards the other parent while still delivering the hard facts of the case. I believe this resonated with the jury as they were being asked to make a decision that reflected the best interests of the child and not the best interests of either parent. In my personal case, and I suspect in most custody cases, it is easy to demonize the other parent for what they did to you and how their actions are continuing to hurt your parent-child relationship. From my perspective, this is why it is invaluable to retain a legal team that is emotionally intelligent in how they present the facts of the case. Brian was incredibly adaptive when speaking with witnesses and able to effectively anticipate and respond to comments from opposing counsel. Brian unquestionably focused and presented on the best interests of the child and I am beyond grateful to have been able to work with him and his firm.
Logan Kilgore joined our team towards the end of multi-year custody case and brought a refreshing positivity in an otherwise draining situation. Logan swiftly appraised herself of the case and I immediately felt secure not only with her professionalism but more significantly in her level of care. Throughout the case Logan listened to my concerns, stayed focused on the child’s best interests, and used all resources available to accurately convey those concerns during a temporary order hearing and during a week-long jury trial. At trial, I was humbled by Logan’s ability to manage exhibits, coordinate and examine witnesses, and communicate with all involved parties. Further, she was able to accurately recall specific details of the case and then pull factual evidence from the exhibits to directly disprove statements made by witnesses or opposing counsel in a manner that still conveyed empathy to the other parent. Logan’s extensive preparation and emotional intelligence during delivery were instrumental in this case and I consider myself incredibly blessed to have worked with Logan and Walters-Gilbreath, PLLC.
