Amazing attention to detail and clear communication! I was represented by Sadie Marak in the case of my divorce which took over two years to process. Sadie demonstrated a thorough understanding of the law and made the right choices through a lot of twists and turns; knowing when to compromise and when to hold her ground. Sadie never gave me the impression that she had other priorities, although I'm sure she had many clients and cases. Each time I had questions, concerns, or feedback I was able to reach Sadie by phone, email, or text within a matter of days which I really appreciated. In the end, I was very satisfied with how the case resolved and would absolutely recommend her for representation.

I have been waiting more than two years to write this review. Waiting, until my divorce was final, and I felt I could finally speak for myself. In all fairness I want to say immediately I have heard nothing but good things about Ms. McMorrow. This review directly relates to Sadie Marak and her representation of my ex-husband from August 2022 until August 2024. Divorce is emotional, contentious and adversarial, given such I realize I am not a neutral party. However, I don’t believe the process should be compounded by a lawyer who prolongs the process, lies, belittles, shames or makes it personal. Early on my ex-husband and I decided to proceed with mediation to minimize legal fees. After meeting Ms. Marak to discuss our decision, she talked him out of it. Similarly, after I discovered a substantial discrepancy in his income I made him a fair offer, between us, which would cost him less in the long run. After meeting with Ms. Marak, he declined my offer, and I was forced to take him to court to file for modification. In the end it cost him more. Ms. Marak exaggerated everyday situations in my marriage stating we took lavish vacations (to the Outer Banks???) to agreements my husband and I had absolutely made about me staying home with my children. Stating I refused to seek employment. After staying home with my kids for 22 years she had the audacity to claim my husband was the primary caregiver to my children. A neat trick considering travel was a requirement of his employment. She continued to present insulting settlement offers prolonging the process adding legal fees even after a conciliation in which the hearing officer gave her recommendations three times the amount of Ms. Marak’s offer. Finally, Ms. Marak consistently denied, and at times mocked my diagnosis of major depressive disorder (backed up with medical records) something I found so egregious it’s beyond the pale. Divorce is already a painful complicated process. While I absolutely agree a lawyer’s job is to fight for their client they can do so ethically while respecting all parties involved and moving the process along smoothly. I believe Sadie thinks she is fighting for her clients instead she is extremely reactive, as I witnessed first-hand. In the end I received exactly what the hearing officer recommended although Sadie decided to wait until we had a hearing scheduled and on that very day asked if we could discuss a settlement. She allowed the legal fees to pile up until the very end. I’m not suggesting you not go with this firm but if you want to get through this quickly without having to defend yourself against all the BS I would read the reviews on Ms. McMorrow and make your own decision.
