I hired Jack Hilgeman after an Auto Accident and I couldn't have been happier with the outcome. Jack is a very matter of fact lawyer who sets realistic expectations and then works ward to exceed them.
Because Jack HIlgeman and his paralegal Michelle make an awesome team, both are client driven and focused on results. Unlike the big name law firm who I originally had the displeasure of working with (DGM&S), Jack made sure to keep his promises. Even better, Jack is always available to answer questions via phone or email! I asked a LOT of them and he patiently answered each and every one.

I recently had an issue with my insurance company not wanting to pay an auto claim. It was a complicated case that involved bad faith on the part of the insurance company. I had a case, I contacted them, paid in cash, fully! Never was told I'd get someone specific, I assumed I called and asked for services of Jon paul ruin, I'd get him, when brianna breault showed up for court, I was OK, because it was. Simple hearing, she told me she would speak to prosecutor and be in touch, my quote was 6500$ for trial services, I plead guilty, so she came to 2 hearings, said less than 20 words in court, she didn't even have a sentencing strategy, I got maxed out! Then they kept all 6500$! I never came close to trial! I got the maximum sentence allowed! On a plea hearing at that then when I called last week about how to properly file my judicial release, they wouldn't even speak to me! Terrible experiences, stole lower class folks money, they would of gave any notable namedclients a full refund had they received a max sentence on a plea! I got charged more than quoted! Disrespectful honestly! Terrible people

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this law firm, particularly with Thomas Kando. My family engaged their services in November 2023, seeking assistance with a property damage case. During our initial meeting, Mr. Kando assured us that the case was strong and encouraged us to proceed, which we did, trusting his professional judgment.
However, after receiving a $1,000 payment, communication from both Mr. Kando and his assistant Sarah ceased. Despite repeated attempts to contact them via phone and email, we received no responses. On multiple occasions, we visited the office in person, only to be told that we would receive a call back, which never happened. Out of approximately 15 visits, we encountered Sarah twice, and she provided vague, yet falsely reassuring updates about the case’s progress.
It became apparent that they may not have taken any real action on our behalf. We were told that Mr. Kando had allegedly attempted to negotiate with the construction company, but no documentation or evidence of these communications was ever presented to us. By August 2024, nearly nine months later, we confronted Mr. Kando in person after he had avoided us for so long. During this meeting, he informed us that the case was not successful, contradicting his initial optimism and showing little concern for the outcome or for the fact that we had trusted him with our money and our case.
Overall, our experience with this law firm was highly unprofessional, and we felt misled and ignored after they were paid. I would strongly advise caution when considering their services.

Took over 7 years to settle my lawsuit and he took too large a portion of the settlement amount. Out of $140000 he took $90000. After the settlement he showed up with a new Jaguar after he had told me that he needed money for his sons college expenses. I do not reccomend this attorney.

I Hired Mr. Wright and retained his services in regards to a injury due to a product.
After hiring Mr. Wright it took over 5 years to settle the case and I am not happy with the outcome as I feel he was not fighting for me like I thought he would. I constantly had to call to get updates throughout the years, and I was not happy with the secretaries lack of knowledge regarding my issue.
I feel I could have done better representing myself than hiring Mr. Wright.

I hired Mr Henke to handle a case for me. He did not accompany me to the deposition or keep me up to date with my case. Approximately 1 week before we went to trial he decided to review the case and suddenly was not aware of things that were disclosed in the preliminary documents and the transcription of my deposition. He advised me that I should not continue on with the case due the attractive nuisance laws in the state of Ohio. Apparently there were not enough comparable cases to support our claim. He told me that it was in my best interest to not continue to trial because we would likely lose. I spent approximately 1 year dealing with this drama and was advised to walk away owing him approximately $4000 additional to what I had already paid during the course of the case. When I went to court for my final hearing to drop the case he sent his previous partner with me. His partner told me that he had advised him not to take the case initially and that he responded with "it's easy money one way or another". Wow!!! I had a tragic event in my life and it was just easy money. I don't see how the man can live with himself. I have talked with other attorneys since this event and was told by those attorneys that I would have more than likely won regardless. I realize that no amount of money was going to make me happy again, but I felt that the parties responsible should have been held responsible and had I had an attorney who participated in my case during the entire course, things would have ended differently.
