My initial lawyer got sick and had to pass my case onto McKeen associates. I was not disappointed. From day one they told me my case was a difficult one to handle and they would do their best. Michelle, the assistant was an absolute dream to work with. She was very prompt and courteous to my every inquiry. She kept me up to date as things progressed. In the end I decided to settle out of court. I would recommend this law firm.

Having been hurt in an auto accident, and not aware of what to do, I found guidance and knowledge after reaching out to Michael. He helped me to determine the process to take to get the treatment I needed, and make sure that those responsible would cover the cost. It is difficult to try to get an insurance company to step up and take the responsibility of covering your care. Michael was so good at providing the steps to take, as well as making sure the right care was provided. His medical and law awareness is second to none. I was provided with Ven's information from another trusted attorney through my insurance agency. Ven, Tom, and Mike were incredible to work with for a little over a year. My husband was hit by a semi-driver on his way to pick up our two young boys. Tom was at my house within a few days of the initial phone call (which was well over a two hour drive for him). He sat with me in my home and listened to all the details. He then explained in detail what it would look like signing on with them, as well as what this type of case would look like. Looking back, that information at that first meeting was extremely informative and things went exactly how they said. I felt prepared every single step of the way due to these professionals.

Back in 1998 I ended up in the hospital in a coma. While I was in a coma someone at the hospital left that "rubber band" torniquet around my right arm. The torniquet they put around your arm when they draw blood. Made my lose the use of my right hand from never damage caused by leaving the torniquet on my arm over night. Long story short. I ended up with Mr Peters law firm. At first he would tell me I had a solid case. His law firm is not known for taking small fry cases. Mr Peters was not proactive with my case, after 5 years he tells he the neurologist I was seeing was not board certified and his testimony has no bearing. I felt like WTH, why wouldn't you have advised me to see a board certified doctor to begin with? Then settlement conference day he sends an associate attorney who just wanted to settle the case. Permanent lose of my hand, I only grossed $120k, $67 after everyone took their cut! Mr. Peters could have done much better, but I guess I was a small fry.

Attorney Robert Andretz represented me during a challenging time when my ex-husband filed a false accusation against my medical license. Unfortunately, my experience with him was disappointing. Despite charging me for his services on an hourly basis, he provided minimal assistance, often repeating information without taking meaningful action. Towards the end of our engagement, he requested an additional $5,000 retainer to proceed to trial, despite already holding a substantial retainer from me. As a non-legal professional, I trusted his guidance and ended up signing a consent order without fully understanding my options, which ultimately led to severe consequences including job loss, license suspension, and unemployment.
Upon conducting my own research, I discovered that I may not have been rightfully charged in the first place due to my credentials in controlled substance abuse and relevant licenses. It's clear that Mr. Andretz’s lack of proactive representation and failure to adequately inform me of my rights had detrimental effects on my career and livelihood.
