Seth was communicative and clear, he always made me feel comfortable with the progression of my case and "broke it down" so I didn't feel like any lawyer-ese was too dense. The most difficult part was waiting for dates to come due to COVID delays, but Seth and his team made it pretty painless. The deposition was much easier than I prepared myself for it to be (due in part to Seth's pre-depo explanation and info sharing).
The final result was a great one, and I was very glad to have everything behind me. At no point did Seth lose sight of our goals, and he made me feel like I had a voice in my own case - not only that but going up against a global brand felt easy with him at my side. I would recommend Seth to anyone who needs assitance in this type of personal injury case.

Attorney Matt Kaestner just beat my murder case in Long Beach. I was definitely in the wrong place at the wrong time. Thanks to attorney Kaestner I’m back home with my family. At first my family hired another lawyer who was either unable or unwilling to spend the time to prove my innocence. I’d like to give my thanks and deepest gratitude to the best criminal defense specialist, Mr. Matthew Kaestner. My husband was facing 15 years for a robbery he didn’t commit. The first attorney I hired had the case for 3 months, and wanted my husband to take a 7 year “deal.” I wanted a second opinion and found attorney Matthew Kaestner. Attorney Kaestner gave me hope that some hard work could prove my husband’s innocence. After I hired attorney Kaestner, he immediately began work on the case, even when he had to work late into the evening. Mr. Kaestner made my husband and I feel like the case was his priority and gave it his full attention. He thoroughly investigated the case and discovered enough evidence to prove that the alleged “victim” had lied to police. I have a “soft tissue” injury case from a car accident 3.5 years ago. Unfortunately, my case ended up going to trial.
I originally hired Lawrence Lallande, who was unavailable to represent me due to vacation plans he did not want to change, so he hired Minh Nguyen to represent my case at trial, assisted by Karina Lallande (Lawrence’s daughter, Lallande Law).
The total award/judgment was $300,452.
I received 8% of the total award.
Lallande Law and Law offices of Minh T. Nguyen spent over $178k on my case, (including an 11k hotel bill at a “boutique hotel”).
Their profit was over $97k (4 times as much as I received--not including the exorbitant amount they spent on trial costs, hotels, and dinners).
The Honorable Judge Thomas W. Wills made the following statement during trial:
“I have not seen behavior like the repeated transgressions of the Plaintiff’s counsel in this case in nearly 40 years in this business.”
Overall, in addition to the terrible financial outcome in my case (I didn’t even come close to recouping my lost wages from time off work for medical treatment), I did not have a good experience, or feel secure with either Minh or Karina. I never knew what to expect and felt severely under-communicated with. Prior to going on the stand for hours over 2 days, I had received hardly any instruction or prep from my attorneys.
Overall, I did not have a good experience. I trusted that they knew what they were doing—assuming that if we won, the proverbial "proof would be in the pudding.” As it turned out, the pudding was rancid—despite “winning” the trial. I would STRONGLY recommend to avoid both Minh Nguyen Law and Lallande Law.
