I went here for my sexual abuse claim for which I had video evidence from when I was 17, three years ago (well within the statute of limitations). They signed me on everything and then I got a paper two months later saying that they actually didn’t because of a statute of limitations issue. It has been one of the most devastating experiences of my life and they didn’t even give me a phone call.
The picture is the letter they sent me that contradicts itself with regard to the statute of limitations telling me to seek other counsel before my time runs out. Thanks guys. Yes I know I still have 7 years.

I contacted Scott after receiving a low offer for medical expenses after an auto accident. Scott attempted to settle with the insurance company without filing a lawsuit. However, it became necessary to file a lawsuit! Scott was easy to talk to and always made sure I was comfortable with the process. His firm was able to get an acceptable settlement for me! I would highly recommend Scott to family and friends!

I had a simple broken leg. Only, I didn't… I would find out a week after my accident, once the shock had worn off and I went to my primary care physician for issues I was dealing with (as Sheila recommended) that I actually had many injuries to my neck and shoulder that went undetected due to the traumatic event of getting hit by a car as I crossed a crosswalk. The driver had insurance in Indiana (They first tried to deny his policy had been active ), I was in Kentucky when hit, and I live in Minnesota. I would find out a week after my accident It was a very complex case…
With Sheila on my side, I felt 100% supported through the entire journey of getting the care I needed, settling with multiple insurance companies, and healing on this journey. A lawyer tried to talk me into going with my own state, but even across this complex network, Sheila remained knowledgeable, effective, caring, thoughtful, responsive, and tenacious when needed to ensure I received ongoing care. I was so grateful not to have to do this alone and to have somebody in my corner who genuinely cares. Her advice helped me get myself to the doctor to discover the multiple injuries as well as navigate resistant insurance companies. They'll never be the same, the significant compensation for pain, suffering, missed work, and the care needed made it all a bit more bearable.

Nick Mudd had represented me in three legal situations, has also referred and personally is handling a matter that is not criminal defense. I have referred him for years now, He also has experience working with special prosecutors in many cases. With the connections and determination of mr. Mr. Mudd handled my grandson's traffic/accident violation case between a court date in Nov 2021 and a court date in Dec 2021. Mr. Mudd did an outstanding job with getting my grandson's case dismissed with knowledge it does involve my grandson needing to pass a Life Skills course among other restrictions to follow. I Amy of Meriwether & Tharpe to represent me for a very difficult divorce. From the beginning, she performed brilliantly to educate me about divorce law and how those laws related to my particular case. Latrese (Amy) has been a truly great person to work with. I have been using her firm for a modification to my original divorce decree. My first experience with my original lawyer was a complete joke. Going into this modification I really did not have an overall trust of attorneys so I walked into this process with a fair amount of trepidation. Amy has completely proved my initial feelings wrong. I was represented by Latrese Cooper in my recent divorce and child custody case and was very pleased with her service to my children and me. As many divorces are complicated, mine involved many details such as circumstances of illness and domestic violence, an out-of-state civil protection order, out-of-state residence, and accusations of mental illness and being a unfit parent of my 2 young children. From the very first consultation, Latrese listened for detail. Although not required of legal counsel, she possessed an empathy for me that was evident and I know that when she promised to work hard for me she meant it and always followed through. Latrese took the time to explain the divorce process to me as it was ongoing and also did what she could to expedite things. For the status conferences, Latrese made efforts to ensure that I could appear before the judge via telephone as I was already residing out-of-state and the cost of travel would have been an undo burden on my children and myself. During trial, I felt very confident to have Latrese on my side and trusted that I was being represented very well. Professionalism, internal strength, and confidence exuded her and I believe that the opposing counsel was not nearly as well prepared for the trial and was seemingly intimidated by Latrese's outstanding preparation and skills. I would highly recommend Latrese for any one with a pending divorce, especially those whom may have been victimized throughout a marriage. Her level of performance is above average and I consider the final decisions made in my case to be more than adequate to my expectations.

Our family hired Bill McMurry to represent my daughter when she was involved in a serious accident. There are very few lawyers that possess the skills and experience that Bill has. That became quickly apparent after conducting some basic research when we started interviewing lawyers to handle her case. Abby was so helpful for us as we tried to recover money after our van accident. Liberty mutual was really not cooperating and she gave us lots of guidance about how to proceed against them without actually having to file suit. We were just about to give up and hire her when we got notice that we were going to get compensated. She is compassionate and persistent.
