I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this attorney, and I would strongly advise against hiring them. Not only did they fail to communicate effectively, but they also showed a complete lack of professionalism that put the case—and safety—at serious risk.
This attorney missed deadlines and failed to file critical documents on time, which severely damaged the case. We were left in the dark about the status of the matter, with no updates or clear communication despite repeated requests. This lack of attention to detail and poor organizational skills resulted in missed opportunities and created unnecessary complications.
What is most concerning, however, is the level of risk this attorney put us in. Due to their negligence in filing paperwork and missing key deadlines, we were found in a vulnerable position with legal and personal consequences that could have been avoided. It felt as if they were more focused on their own convenience than on the well-being of their clients.
In short, this lawyer’s incompetence and disregard for client safety are unforgivable. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value timely, reliable, and responsible legal representation.

We are pleased with the opportunity to provide a reference for Paul Perantinides. Our daughter discovered her chances of surviving the type of cancer she had was diminished to zero due to the malpractice of the surgeon. Knowing she was losing the battle my daughter sought the advice of a lawyer. Mr. Perantinides ultimately acquired her case. Our daughter asked Paul to “please not forget about her.” Our daughter lost her battle with cancer in 2011 at the age of 33. During the 18 months from her diagnosis and first surgery until her death she suffered indescribable, horrific, unrelenting pain. She left behind her two girls, age 5 years and 2-1/2 years at that time. Mr. Perantinides remained an advocate for our daughter’s cause. His perseverance in holding the surgeon and facility responsible for their malpractice resulted in a settlement in 2017. Six years after her death. He did not forget about her. Although no amount of money would ever compensate for the death of our daughter, we are grateful to Mr. Perantinides for the settlement. It will help our granddaughters with their future education. In our first meeting together, it was obvious that Paul was different from the other attorneys I had sought out. My wife passed away under the care of a local hospital, and I was looking for someone to represent me. He asked me all the right questions and engaged himself clearly showing interest in me and my family. In that first meeting it was obvious that he knew what he was talking about. He was confident about taking on my case. As we moved forward through the coming months, I became convinced that I had chosen the right person for the job.
As I was introduced to his staff over time I was extremely impressed with all of them. Paul has set an atmosphere of excellent customer service,always showing respect and care.
No questions were left unanswered, no phone calls were left hanging. Paul explained every action through the process, all the pros and cons, ups and downs. All the risks and all the possible out come. At no time did he ever try to tell me something that might have had a hidden agenda. He is an honest man, with integrity, something not always seen in this profession.

We were faced with losing everything that my mother and father had worked for their entire lives because my mother had a stroke. People always hear of all the horrors of not being prepared for the possibility of sudden illness or incapacitation brought on by any medical procedure or health problem. Well I can say that everyone should find a reputable Attorney, like Jason McMahon, and get your affairs in order before those horror stories take you and your family down in a heartbeat. There are so many rules and regulations as well as "Loopholes" involved in getting your family member accepted for Medicaid that nobody, except an Attorney, can possibly know, discover or understand. If you wait until an emergency occurs, you will be in the same boat we were in and without a paddle as well. I was very fortunate in finding an honest, hard working, concerned, dedicated, knowledgeable, etc., etc., Attorney in Jason McMahon. I can honestly say that I have never had such fine fortune in my life before, so I am very thankful. It is very true that an Attorney is expensive, but when you consider their fee against what you have to lose, an honest Attorney like Mister McMahon will earn every penny you have to pay out. Mr McMahon's fees are actually a bargain when compared to other Attorneys as well anyway. All this said, if (when) we ever need another Attorney, we will definitely be calling on Jason McMahon first. He has definitely felt like a very great friend on our side for the entire process of getting my mother accepted for Medicaid. The words in the review title that I used all describe Jason very well. I first met Jason as a result of a friend's recommendation. My friend lives in Thailand and needed someone that he could trust to handle his father's affairs regarding nursing home care, medicaid, and estate matters. At that time, I was caring for my elderly Uncle's affairs while he was in a nursing home. I needed advice on how to proceed with Medicaid and all of my other Uncle's needs. Upon my first meeting with Jason, I took and immediate liking to this man. He is a very personable, compassionate, knowledgeable and caring individual who one can trust implicitly to do what is best for his clients. I have absolutely no regret at all in retaining Jason to represent my Uncle. He did a wonderful job and met our needs well. He followed through with everything and everyone and represented my Uncle with nursing home authorities, medicaid, probate etc. He always returned calls and emails promptly if I couldn't reach him directly. After working with Jason for almost a year on my Uncle's estate needs, I can say that we have developed more than just a client/attorney relationship. I consider Jason a true friend and know that I can count on him in the future should I need his assistance. I have recommended Jason to my sister-in-law who needed help with her mother and Medicaid and to a friend who needed help with a Will and Advanced Directives. Don malarcik jr. Has worked incredibly hard on my case. With it still pending I can't get into details but he is worth every penny and then some. He knows the ins and outs of law like no one I've ever seen. He's a gentleman and a scholar in the courtroom but it is very clear to see the other attorneys admire and respect him when he walks in the room. He approaches the case like a chess genius moving 10 moves ahead and out thinking everyone around him. I hope after this case I never have to use them again but he definitely will be on retainer because I can't think of another person I'd rather have walk me through the legal process. Not only does he teach trial School in Wyoming but he's six and oh at getting folks off of the death penalty. His views from what I understand that even though someone may be guilty and they deserve to spend their life in prison we as human beings do not have the power to dictate who lives and dies. They will be judged by God and properly sentenced per God's decision.

Julie is an amazing attorney. My brother was killed in an accident on the Ohio turnpike. In his will he designated my sister his executrix. She had decided that the other family members were not entitled to any funds from the settlement from the wrongful death suit. If you are up a creek without a paddle then look no further than Mr. Tim McKinzie, the head honcho of McKinzie and Associates! When my young child's father needed an attorney to represent him in a malicious, emotionally draining, and on-going custody battle because I left him, his choice in retaining Tim made perfect sense! Tim is more famous locally for his dedication to getting those charged with criminal acts (multiple DUIs, assault, etc.) off as easy as possible as to not be accountable for their actions. In THIS case, however, his versatility was really spotlighted as he proudly used every scare tactic and humiliation method against me to unlawfully and unethically produce a "win" for his client. This display was unparalleled in that he showed literally no compassion, no understanding, and had no interest in my responses to his client's accusations, but rather mercilessly drilled me to tears until I was almost forced to just "take what I could get". If you are in need of a lawyer that will have to violate any and/or all standards and ethical codes to get you the results you want, Tim is your man! He even personally reached out to me via letter to please contact him with questions or concerns! I did and he got back to me promptly but I think he may have been having cramps or something because he very rudely hung up on me 30 seconds into conversation for asking him a question. He did inform me that was not how "things worked" first, so I even was given free legal advice! Thanks Tim, for keeping the stereotype of cutthroat law alive!
