Working with Lakota and Jenny far exceeded my expectations. I had a complicated case with multiple providers across multiple states over the course of almost 2 years, and a multitude of conditions caused by the car accident. They were patient, kind and understanding every step of the way. I especially appreciated how they helped me pursue a pathway to recovery that allowed me to pursue more holistic methods while still working within the limitations of the insurance companies.
After I was in the car accident, I spoke with a few lawyers and they were all chomping at the bit for me to hire them immediately. Lakota counseled me to wait and see how my condition progressed, and only advised me to hire him a month later after everything worsened. A car accident is really just that – an accident. No one plans for it, it’s completely unexpected. For me, the effects of my car accident are something that I will deal with for the rest of my life. The fact that I had an injury from my accident was incredibly frustrating and made me angry. Every day I hurt and relived the accident, I didn’t get any results from the treatment I was receiving and I was so upset every time I would have to talk to the other insurance company about my medical treatment. I finally realized I didn’t have to go through this situation alone, and I could get help. It was the best decision I could have made and I wish I had done it sooner! In May if 2019, I was in a car accident where I was T-boned by someone who ran a stop sign. I was referred to Brian by a close friend and began the process of filing a complaint against the opposing insurance company for the horrendously low settlement offer I received from them.
Coming into this case, I was naive and unaware of the legal processes involved in such an endeavor. I thought, “Well the driver admitted fault, the damage is recorded, this will be easy”. I had absolutely no idea that my accident would have become such a battle to receive money lost. And that battle was fought tooth and nail by Brian and his team for me.
We were in the middle of this process when the pandemic hit, which added another layer of complications and delays to everything. It took almost 3 years to get to the end of this settlement.
Brian and Jenna, whom I worked with the most personally, were kind and patient with my unending questions, compassionate with my frequent emotional meltdowns, and kept me in the loop with my case regularly, knowing how much stress it was bringing me in my personal life, I didn’t feel in the dark. Brian had even come in on his day off just to meet with me and hear me cry about how unfair everything was. That’s a patient man. He wasn’t scared to tell me the truth of the arduous process we were in, even if I didn’t want to accept it, something I appreciated a lot.
Anytime I had to come into the office, I was met warmly by Jenna, who always remembered me and my case. It never felt like a stuffy or cold lawyers office. I even met another individual who worked on my case behind the scenes that I was unaware of, he was very kind and happy to meet me, which made me feel that much more secure knowing Brian’s team was truly invested in my case.
I never felt like I was just another number or just a client. I felt like Brian and Jenna genuinely cared about me as a person, they were truly fighting for me and my case. And to be quite candid, I believe they gave me more time and effort than they ever got compensated for after everything was said and done. But that didn’t stop them from treating me like family. Brian never stopped fighting for me even when we knew I wasn’t going to receive what we hoped I would.
I have learned through this process, the system is absolutely flawed, ugly, unfair, and will make you insane. That is just the truth. I was a little fish in an ocean of sharks. The system isn’t set up for us. You ***need*** someone like Brian, like Jenna, who are aware of those flaws, and are still willing to go in and fight an uphill battle for you, which is exactly what they did for me.
So, thank you Brian, Jenna, and the whole Brian Elston Law Firm, for staying grounded, staying connected, and staying human in such an exploitive world. You are gems! I 100% recommend this business.

Mr Stark assisted me with my injury lawsuit. I found him to be extremely attentive and helpful. He took to the time to get to know me, not just my case. I first meet with Perry Fisher more than 10 years ago to handle a problem I was having with a company that owed me a great deal of money. The manner in which Mr Fisher handled this matter made me realize that he isn't just an ordinary attorney. He was extremely skillful, has tremendous finesse and had fantastic empathy for the nervousness I was experiencing as we entered the deposition for this case. Mr Fisher helped me get a financial result that was much better than I ever anticipated.

The team generally responded quickly to emails. I incurred late payment penalties (one month for one account, two months for the other) due to not being provided accurate payment projections despite providing all information to the firm in February. Ultimately, the filing felt unnecessarily stressful and rushed. Consultation with other firms to review those filings revealed errors and omissions which will require filing amended returns.
