Jim was great! He helped me with my dog bite case. I’m a mail carrier and I have a crazy schedule with long hours. He still made sure we could get together to discuss what was going on. I sent one of our clients to him randomly and he was honest with the guy. He recommended an option for him that he could use to take care of the small issue himself and not have to pay anyone. Getting a divorce is tough enough but trying to find a divorce attorney that you are comfortable with is even tougher. Sometimes,in my case,you just have to narrow a few down and then go with your gut feeling. Delia was really great and understanding with my situation. My now ex-wife and I were able to basically have an amicable divorce and Delia guided me/us (I did keep my wife abreast of my convo's with Delia) through the divorce to make it as easy as possible for us to go through something as emotional as a divorce. She was even able to prepare some extra paperwork besides the divorce for me also which was appreciated. She explained the divorce process and what to expect every step of the way. This is one time my gut didn't lead me wrong and I'm really happy that I was able to work with her. She is definitely a cool chick and I would absolutely recommend her If you do find yourself in a position where you may be contemplating a divorce and have questions or actually going through the process. About 4 years ago my wife had made the call to ABC law centers after researching various attorneys. We had actually been give an attorney’s phone number from a friend which we called. He talked to me for about two minutes and had no interest in trying to help. He wanted us to ask the doctors what happened to our son and then get back with him.
Jesse Reiter was FAR more concerned with trying to help us find out what had caused Matthew’s condition. He and his team took over an hour talking with my wife over the phone gathering information and then sent out the necessary paperwork so they could start looking into what had happened to Matthew. Since we had twin boys, Matthew and Andrew, they assured us that this was their specialty and they would get us answers.
The process then began with more paperwork and meetings as well as creating a video documentary for the care and condition of our son Matthew. All of this was done very professionally and within our hectic schedule. At no time did we ever feel like we were being pressured and everyone was very sympathetic to our needs.
Jesse Reiter and Rebecca Walsh worked very hard for us in this 4 year process. Jesse Reiter even commented on this being one of his longest cases that he has handled, but at no time did they waiver from the end goal of finding out what had caused Matthew’s condition.
Jesse and Rebecca did an AWESOME job of being sympathetic, patient, understanding and caring in their handling of our son’s case. Because of their hard work and persistence we are now assured of Matthew’s future care. This is a HUGE weight off of our minds because, as many parents, we were concerned of Matthew’s future for when we would no longer be around.

I've never been personally involved with a legal case and was very hesitant to trust and believe a lawyer could help my situation. To my surprise the firm was very responsive and Dean himself would get involved via phone or email follow-ups since we live in different states. Bob was my lawyer in a civil matter (personal injury claim) in an out-of-state court. Bob represented my interests, advocated strongly for me, and, importantly, kept me informed about the many proceedings/motions etc. that were somewhat indecipherable to me, as a non-attorney. He patiently explained the jargon and legal terms to me in ways which made them understandable, so that I understood exactly what was going on, how any changes affected--or didn't affect--my case, and what my next steps were. He provided his view on what might happen next when asked, without being too speculative or unreasonably optimistic (There was no "it'll all be fine"--it was more like "here's what wer'e hoping for, here's what we're going to do to try and achieve that outcome, and here's what we do next"). I appreciated his candor and patience, and he led my case to a very reasonable outcome. Bob's communication by phone and email was consistent, and mattered a great deal to me, as I live out-of-state. He was both personable and professional, which instilled me with confidence that my interests were being well-represented. My wife and I unfortunately had an automobile accident in 2021, and Matt Brown and his team were referred to us by a family friend. They treated us well, took us seriously, and were extremely professional, and timely with how they handled our case with us. TLDR: Great Lakes employs attorneys that are not only terrible at their job, but who will overbill you and treat you terribly.
You are doing yourself a tremendous disservice taking your business to Great Lakes. Kim Browning in particular is the single worst attorney I have ever had to deal with. She is both not very good at the legal aspect of her job, nor the customer service aspect.
She ended up billing me 3x higher than her initial estimate despite the fact that the case proceeded exactly as anticipated without any sort of hiccups.
What's more, despite the case progressing exactly as anticipated, she never gave me a clear understanding about what the next steps would be.
Worst, she WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOU. Despite paying her over $10k, she could not bother to respond to simple "yes" "no" emails without me having to send them to her 3+ times.
Please take your business elsewhere. With Great Lakes and Kim, all you'll get is a massive bill and disappointment.

Mr. Janks is an incredibly competent, responsive, and knowledgable attorney. He alleviated all my fears while keeping me updated on all proceedings and possible outcomes in an expedited manner. This allowed me the autonomy to make the best decisions based on those outcomes. I trusted his knowledge and expertise. There were nights I would send or receive an email and he responded almost immediately. Any time I had to contact him via telephone, he was almost always available and if he wasn't, would get back to me as soon as possible. I never had to wait for his response to any of my questions. Mr. Janks was patient when he needed to explain the legal proceedings and allowed me the privilege of asking any question without judgement. He utilized very knowledgable and unbiased expert witnesses that uncovered areas in my case that I was not aware were jeopardized in my prior legal case. I was able to witness Mr. Janks in the courtroom during motions filed early in the process. He conducted himself in the utmost professional manner and utilized his knowledge to keep the defense from having the case thrown out. I had a lawyer before Mr. Saperstein. He was not attentive to my needs and never communicated with me. I didn't feel like the customer.
