I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carl. He has been my Work Comp. attorney since 2009-2010 and worked on my case diligently to get to arbitration in order to keep my medical rights open (after sustaining a severe arm injury and subsequent surgeries beginning in 2005.) Since arbitration, there have been a handful of times over the years where I have needed additional help and support in getting the continued and subsequent medical care I need and to which I am entitled. He has and continues to be nothing but extremely kind, patient, helpful and caring. He is also no-nonsense in his responses to my former employer and their Work Comp. insurance provider, and extremely professional in all interactions. He always takes care of things in a timely (and often very fast) manner, and is honestly just one of the most genuinely personable and caring attorneys I have ever met. I could not continue to “fight” this seemingly never ending battle as a result of my original injury and subsequent surgeries and procedures without him. I honestly would be lost without him.
Know that if you value compassion, respect, and kindness, along with someone who gets things done, Carl should be your attorney. No question. Of course my hope is always that I don’t have to continue this fight; but when I need someone in my corner, he is always there.

Carl Reisman, I told him my deciding factor why I chose him to represent me, it's because of the amazing reviews. I had an injury and a personal problem at the same time and he even told me not to think of paying his service at all. But I told him, regardless of my personal situation, he is entitled with his share. That alone, I can tell how compassionate he is as a person. Not a terrible experience but hard to get ahold of after your meeting with creditors.
I realize these guys deal with a TON, BUNCH of customers but do feel like Im not at all important and kinda don't get a good vibe. Bankruptcy is embarrassing enough and feel like I'm fighting these creditors on my own which makes it more stressful.
During my meeting of creditors and trustee, the lawyer that spoke on my behalf (not mike Meyers, but a different one that I don't remember the name of, was an older guy with balding head) the lawyer was extremely extremely rude. At one point during that meeting when I asked about retaining some sort of emergency fund,
he replied "well, you're in bankruptcy so highly unlikely you'll be able to save ANY money, just going to spend it all"
I was extremely angry and hurt by that comment.
Just in general, yes some of them are nice and I'm not trying to speak bad, but just not at all happy with the service received.
Given the chance, I would have spent my 1800 bucks somewhere else.

Brian represented me on two different occasions. The first time was during my pursuit of custody with my ex wife. Brian is an excellent attorney. He is very professional and precise. In the end, he helped me to obtain full custody of my child.
The second time was during a misunderstanding I had with a crazy ex. I was charged with something I didn't do and Brian was able to represent me and get the charges dropped and the arrest expunged very easily. I can't say enough about his credibility. Mr. King was very kind and extremely professional. He made time to see me at my requests and was always punctual at appointments and court dates. He always worked well with the other attorney in the case which made the process run smoother. His wife is his secretary and she always responded to emails timely and took care of any requests or questions I had. He listened to my requests and provided and options for me to consider so that I could make the best decisions for me and my children. She barely handled my case. At one point, she admitted that she did not complete what she was supposed to in the time promised and had the nerve to say, “in my defense, I was in court last week.” That translates to “ you are not important.” Very lackadaisical approach to representing a client.

This attorney rarely returned my calls or answered my email correspondence. I had a child support order reduced by the court in October, and as of the first of February, I am still paying the previous amount of support because the required paperwork has yet to be filed with my employer. When I questioned her correspondence practices and asked for reassurance in her ability to effectively represent me, she withdrew as my council - 2 days before court.
Attorney made me feel as if me, and my case, were unimportant.

I hired James Long to handle several matters for me, over a period of several years.
I don't recommend James Long. In the time he worked for me he: 1) Missed at least one court appearance, 2) Showed up in court with food on his shirt, 3) Drafted and filed documents with embarrassingly poor grammar and logic, 4) Allowed many filed actions to fall through the cracks, resulting in wasted filing fees and attorney's fees, 5) Billed me for communications related to him backing out of an appointment, and so on.
Jim is awkward, fumbly, and ineffective in court, in my opinion.
On balance, he's a nice guy.
