The receptionist was unaware of our closing and told us we were an hour early. They charged us $150 for split closing on our home. They asked for a copy of our marriage license about 2 hours before our closing. We didn't have a choice but to use them.

If I could give a zero I would due to the unprofessionalism that has not changed from a previous review. Attorney Keith Miles lost a client because he responds without reading for understanding. My sister was willing to come in person with her ID because she doesn't have a relationship with LegalShield/Prepaid Legal and this attorney became rude in his communication about a general question not specific to any person that he didn't want to even find out about. Now our family who makes decisions together knowing only one POA can authorize at a time will find another attorney to ask a general question before we retain. We just buried our father (who I was his POA) a month ago and to deal with this type of behavior from someone we could potentially hire is unacceptable at any time. A review with screenshots of the texts from his portal will be made with LegalShield/Prepaid Legal as well.
I recommend if you are referred to Attorney Miles to ask to speak to someone to make sure there is no misunderstanding of what you are seeking before using the portal. I appreciate him apologizing on 12/23/24 via Google Review.

Man, I just don’t know what to say. John really helped me out last minute after having to fire my previous lawyer. I've been in many accidents due to driving frequently for my sales job, so I've worked with plenty of lawyers. However, JK Law Firm has been the best by far. They focused on my health after the accident and truly understood and conveyed my feelings in ways I had never experienced before. Hiring Pat was the best decision I could have made in my situation. I was charged with criminal trespassing/damage to property and obstruction. I was a first time offender and had made one big mistake in January of 2019. I hired Pat on the recommendation of a friend and Pat was extremely professional throughout the whole process. He always had an answer for my questions. His assistant, Teresa Scarberry, was also very helpful throughout the process. Pat was able to get me the best outcome in my case I could have hoped for with only community service and a fine. Pat is an incredible lawyer to have and I highly recommend him if you need a criminal defense lawyer.

We had a horrible situation this past winter where our teenage son was falsely accused of a crime and arrested. To make matters worse, he was charged as an adult and with a felony. Pat was able to blow the case apart (which only occurred because of a dishonest policeman) and was able to make the DA's office see the injustice of the situation. Pat told us his successful dismissal of our son's case within just days of the arrest was a record for him. We could tell that Pat was very busy and in demand yet he placed his full attention on our son's case and quickly began working aggressively to resolve it. Had this case gotten back-burnered by an inattentive or unknowledgeable attorney, it could have remained stagnant, further harming our son. His fee was very fair for the work he did and we are very happy with the results. Pat also quickly got our son's record expunged. In the future, I will be glad to recommend this attorney to anyone who needs a great defense attorney.

I have used De'Anne on multiple occasions to help me with legal issues regarding my business. I first met her when I took out an equity line on my home. I was so impressed by her combination of professionalism and warmth that I knew I would go to her in the future for any legal needs.
When I started my business, she represented me through all aspects of the legal process. Because my business type was not currently allowed in Georgia, I ran into difficulty getting licensed by the state of Georgia. I hired and attorney who advised that I sue the state and he charged me thousands of dollars. The result was disaster and completely jeopardized any chance of success.
De"Anne stepped in and rebuilt the relationship on my behalf, resulting in the state of Georgia changing the rules allowing my company to get its license.
I rarely give five stars to people, but if I could, I would give her six.
