Getting a divorce is hard...being divorced can be pretty great though (if you have a good lawyer!) That's where Emily at Ellison Law came in for me. I had an extremely contentious and drawn out divorce due to my ex not wanting to cooperate and be civil. In times where it felt like my entire life way in full chaos, Emily's sound advice, level minded strategies, and keen awareness of the divorce process was my only saving grace. While divorce is ultimately painful, sad, expensive, and life-changing for everyone involved, having a good lawyer to help you through it and to help plan for what your life looks like after divorce is so critical, especially if you are divorcing someone who wants to make the process as difficult as possible. Emily had my back at every turn, she fought hard for me in court, and was so thoroughly prepared that it truly saved my life, the life I have now, the stability my kids have now. I had to put so much trust into Emily's guidance and knowledge of the system, and I'm so glad I did. She was thoughtful and kind, took the time to answer questions fully, explain processes to me, and think ahead for me (especially when all I could do was sometimes barely see through the day I was in). I/we never thought we would find ourselves in the position of needing an Estate Attorney.

Ed Smith is a very nice lawyer. He was always there to answer all our questions at any time day/night. he never passed us on to another person or secretary, he always helped us personally. he was always friendly, polite, honest and upfront. He explains everything in details and makes you feel comfortable your getting the best answers and making the best choices and decisions for you and your family. I did not have the time or want to deal with the insurance companies or handle bills or payments with Ed he took care of everything we never worried about a thing. Ted and Robin were VERY well organized as well as prompt with responding to my concerns! Honesty. Integrity. Transparency! Three very important qualities that make a very difficult situation bearable.
From the moment I retained Ted, I felt very comfortable knowing he was NOT in this for the money, but to help me fight a battle that meant the world to me! I had attempted to fight this battle alone up until about 40 days before the trial date. Feeling overpowered, I called Ted's office and met with him a day later.
After consulting with Ted, I walked out of his office with a huge amount of weight lifted off my shoulders. With not very much time to prepare, Ted and Robin immediately started working on my case. Ted never once steered me in the wrong direction and always pointed out the logistics of the case. If I didn't like what the opposing party had to say, Robin would listen very carefully to my thoughts and concerns and she and Ted would have a "plan of action" within minutes.
Although we settled outside of court 5 minutes before the trial started, Ted had his well documented notes and was ready to stand by me in court and fight for what my daughter and I deserved!
Ted went back to his office and worked on organizing all of the documentation of what had been settled on in court. We went back and forth for several days until everyone was happy with the agreement. Robin very patiently listened to my concerns and made several "tweaks" until both parties were completely happy.

Ted Finn had a no-bull approach that I found efficient and refreshing. At the same time, he consistently showed perceptive intuition as to the nuances of the case and the opposing party's tactics. He was about the business of my case as opposed to running up my bill. He was inclined to take the high road, very upfront regarding cost, and he communicated throughout regarding cost analysis of pursuing various approaches or battles. When it did come time to stand ground as opposed to negotiate, he was well prepared and persuasive. In my opinion Family Law is a good fit for Ted and I'd certainly prefer to have him on my team than face him as my opposition counsel.

This review a bit overdue; Kendra did an excellent job for me -handling my divorce. She was a mix of working nicely with the other attorney, but also being a 'bulldog' on my interest. I thought it was an excellent, intelligent mix of those two qualities. Her, and her staff, paid attention to every detail, all the paperwork, etc., was expertly handled in a timely fashion. I thought her costs were reasonable. Most of all, I enjoyed my time and correspondence with her. She is highly recommended.

Kendra jumped into my case midstream, my cause was a nasty complicated divorce with one child involved and complicated financial situation. She jumped in and got up to speed quickly and handled the case open and honestly.

Mark did a great job with my motorcycle accident. We didn't have to pay back my health insurer anything and all my medical bills were paid. After a short law suit we settled for over 300k. The insurer offered me almost nothing before I hired Mark. He earned every part of his fee and then some.

Charles did not remember our conversations, therefore, I needed to refresh him of the details. This occurred more than once in our small window of time, working together. This is unprofessional and a waste of everybody's time. When I called him on it, he turned it around as me being brash, vs me relaying truth. Avoid attorneys who cannot handle conflict... bad sign. He made good when I suggested most of my retainer fee be returned.
