I was in a car accident in May 2021. I was told by the insurance company of the person who hit me that because I wasn't injured, I would only receive $1,200 for potential doctors visits and $3,000 for the value of my truck. I told them they had no clue if I was injured or not because I hadn't gottenany scans of tests done yet, but my neck was hurting badly and I also told them I would be getting a lawyer. I contacted Justin from a referral a friend gave me. I'm extremely glad I contacted him and his team, because they took my accident seriously. I got tests done and went to professionals for my back pain. I found that I had bulging disc's and a tear in my spine. After a couple years of constant chiropractic care, shots in my back and many more appointments and missed work, my case was settled and for much more than what the insurance said I would get. I believe Justin and his team did a great job of handling my case and getting me fair compensation for the pain and damages I accrued over the last few years. I would recommend them to anyone who is involved in an accident!

I’m very lucky to have found this law firm. I’ve had big problems for a few years with the trustee of a trust I’m a beneficiary of, and if it wasn’t for my attorneys, Trent Reinert and Erin Robak, everything could’ve gone very differently. Their integrity, expertise, and tenaciousness saved the day more than once.
They are respectful, I feel like they actually care about me and my situation, and they don’t have to do that. I’ve dealt with three different terrible trust attorneys in Omaha over the last 5 years so it is refreshing and comforting to have two excellent attorneys on my side for the last six months while the trust is being distributed and closed soon. I will keep them as my attorneys.
I highly recommend these two for any trust work or litigation you need. Trent deals with trusts and accounting, and Erin is on the litigation side. They are truly top attorneys in Omaha.
They don’t try to overcharge you, in fact, they are incredibly conscientious about doing what is right for you, even trying to get you to not litigate if it’s not going to be to your greatest advantage. I was hurt in an accident and really just needed advice on how to deal with the liable party's insurance company. I spoke with Abbie for 20 mins she explained to me my rights and available avenues on how not to get railroaded in a injury accident. Abbie explained to me the necessary steps involved. I haven't had such a thoughtful call with a professional that didn't expect any payment (hard to come by these days). She explained to me at Lathrop law office they only take clients they believe they can help. She coached me and gave me great advice, and the fact that there wasn't any expectations of me made me really believe this is a good group of people over there. Will recommend this law office to everyone. Just hope I never have to. If your ever in the unfortunate situation I'm in don't hesitate to call Abbie she's great, very knowledgeable and an obvious professional. I emailed Whitmore Law to establish my LLC as I had read online that they specialize in this. They had me fill out a form via email and pay, and then for weeks I heard nothing from them. I never got an email walking me through the process or timing or next steps. No status update at all until I reached out two weeks later. I had to reach out a few times over the next month to check in but they still had no update until I called to complain. They then put me in an email with Mr Whitmore who emailed me saying it has been formed for 2 weeks, but again no one had let me know.
I read reviews that they walked you through the steps and were very helpful in this process, but I got none of this and they were incredibly disappointing in all areas. I still don’t know the process or steps. Would not use them again and would not recommend them to anyone forming an LLC.

I could not get a call back from Mr Wentz. He charged me 7,000 but I don't know if that was for the trust and will and although I have left texts and vm, he won't call me back and that has been true for the 3 years sine I hired him. Don't put your trust in him because he doesn't deliver

We hired Mr. Novotny last July to help us with my son's car accident. My son was hit by a driver going the wrong way and totaled out his brand new car of 2 weeks. There was a lot of confusion on which insurance was going to cover his accident as she was driving a rental car and also purchased their insurance. Doug dealt with the adjuster that was the WORST adjuster in the world for over a year. He kept in constant communication with us and always made us feel reassured. He was always on top of things even when he was unable to get a response for weeks from the adjuster. I was even able to reach out to him with questions in regards to finding someone to help with a different legal issue with my daughter and he was able to help point me in the right direction as well. I just know that I'm beyond grateful to have been referred to him and had him blessed us with his services. Doug if you see this, AGAIN THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!! Mr. Doug Novotny has been a great help with me and this case , I had suffered a totaled car accident with my first car ever. I didn’t even get to make my first payment on it , only had it for 2 weeks . This lady from Australia had turned into me as I’m going straight under the traffic light as she was turning left on the opposite side of steeet and we kinda went head on then my car ran into the pole. The place I had got it from Big O Auto , the manager had referred me to him and I’m so glad he did , he’s the best lawyer anybody can have hands down. He’s so open & observes everything & tries or does help you as much as he can & get you in the care possibly because that’s what he did for me & I couldn’t thank him enough. The chiropractor and massages he referred me to 10/10 it helped me a lot and made me feel alot better . I had suffered some back & neck pain from it but as I was going through treatment and everything I was getting back to my normal self the massages had helped tremendously. Then after that I wasn’t to my full potential so he referred me to physical therapy and that was worth it after a month of that n constantly doing the stretches & techniques I felt somewhat normal again n getting myself back. Everything he been doing for me been very helpful & well needed . Settlement money is good and all and I appreciate him for helping me get the amount I got in extremely blessed for that but without his help and getting me in therapy I don’t think I would’ve been the same again . So thank you again Doug really!! Best lawyer ever not gon lie ! I deserve everything good that comes your way .

Case was a slam dunk, would've won the trial hands down. Charged 1,900$ upfront, was told it would cover everything but the trial. Pre trial plea bargain was basically no jail time and all the charges go away a year later, he told me i wouldn't be charged for the set aside that's written into the court order. Today, after the year has passed, i am being told it's another 750$ to do the set aside?? Scummy.. very scummy. Possibly a mistake due to a high work load, but this is not a new case and the services were already paid for upfront. It's like they forgot about their own word entirely, and now they are not interested in upholding the court order from the judge (set aside was written into the court order by the judge)

I would not recommend using Nancy Shannon. She represented my ex husband in our divorce case, and she did not win the case for him as he was judged to pay me a 32k settlement. I am a disabled veteran due to PTSD and Nancy Shannon openly mocked my disability to my lawyer, in writing, and denied my basic ADA accomodations so that we had to get the judge involved unnecessarily, causing everyone more legal fees. She was so disrespectful in court, there was no reason to be that way. She was very unprofessional all around, rolling her eyes and throwing her hands up in the air, even at her own client. My lawyer told me she's known for being impossible to work with and making things more difficult for all.

I wouldn't recommend another law firm. Bob stayed in constant contact with me throughout my case. I liked that he responded back to my inquiries right away. I have had the pleasure of working with John on a project my firm hired him to work on. We have also had discussions over the last ten years on various regulatory issues related to the healthcare industry. John has the ability to take on a project that doesn't have a clear path/steps, and figure out a solution working independently but with high competence using his JD and medical background. As an example, I needed research on trends for which data could only be gathered by hand and franklyu wasn't readily available. John knew where to go, how to get it and how to summarize/analyze for purpose of a bigger project we were working on. It took very little explaining for him to understand the substance of the engagement and big picture goals.
