I was involved in an accident in 2021 in which another vehicle ran the stop light and crashed into me. The result was injury to back that resulted in therapy. I contacted Mr. Thompson and After talking with him, I retained him to handle my case. For two years he worked diligently with this case, never tiring or giving up even when I felt like it. He gathered all the necessary information, followed up on anything that came into his office and ultimately when we had to go to court, he helped me ease my anxiety of court and prepare myself.
I was always aware of anything he was doing, any persons he was interviewing and was always keeping my wishes first. Mr. Thompson is a humble man, very kind and polite, but knows his job and does it very professionally. Thank you Mr Thompson for you did for me...God bless you

Mr. Damico helped through the process of working through a difficult custody case and a frivolous criminal charge my ex brought against me. I ended up after the lengthy amounts of arguments and cases with custody of my kid almost half of every month and found not guilty if the ridiculous charge that was brought against me.
He doesn't pull any punches and he'll give you his no BS opinion on things.
I greatly recommend him, and thank you Mr. Damico for getting this father time to spend with his daughter. She recognizes and now.

I had a very lengthy custody case. Mr.Damico handled all the paperwork in a very timely manner, he was honest about expectations and always able to find time to talk about the case leading up to it. In the courtroom, I couldn't have been more impressed. The evidence was presented in a precise manner. His experience and expertise in law was an amazing display. My experience with having Lauren Ellerman represent me in a motorcycle injury case against an insurance company that is correctly represented by a lizard, was nothing less than spectacular. She worked diligently to get the best settlement possible so that I could pay my medical bills. She always kept me informed during the entire process and communicated very well. It is with a grateful heart that I write this attribute to a woman who has been there through thick and thin for my family, and showed us that it is not as stressful a situation we were anticipating. Bettina Altizer, of Altizer Law, PC came to me as a result of just searching for an attorney to assist us with a wrongful death situation way back in 1998. We were in turmoil after the stressful death of my mother in law, and we were so very confused. It was not that we wanted a windfall, that could never replace Mom. It was because of the situation that the person in question was still allowed to possibly hurt others.
Well, Bettina understood and fully invested herself, heart and soul, to help us feel that justice would be done. Bettina helped us feel better about this legal matter, and did everything she could possibly do to make it less painful in each and every way, ways that we never even imagined.
All calls were taken immediately, or we were called back within a very short time frame, every step of the way we were kept informed of the process and what to expect in the near future. Bettina also let us know that we were not bad people for doing what we felt was the right thing to do.
Eventually, the case settled, and the ability to prevent future misconduct to someone else was totally satisfied. We felt vindicated that we received the justice we were seeking, and the comfort and care of Bettina and her office staff made us feel as if we were with family the entire time.
My heartfelt appreciation has never wavered, and yes, there was a subsequent situation we sought her assistance for in 2008, a personal injury situation. We received all of the same care as the initial situation, nothing changed, and we were treated like family. If I ever need an attorney, Bettina Altizer is the one, no question.

I was involved in a rear end accident where someone hit me. Once her insurance company wanted me to settle my medical claims I wanted advice from an attorney. I called Chip and he was happy to help. He worked hard for almost a year and a half to get the best possible settlement. He was kind and caring. He spent much time gathering medical information, consulting with doctors and negotiating with insurance companies. I was very pleased and satisfied with the outcome of my case. Mr. Casola is an excellent attorney. I found him to be very thorough and professional. After reviewing my case, Chip identified key issues that I myself hadn't picked up on. After filing suit an unacceptable offer came in from the other side. Chip proceeded to counter and negotiate a very favorable settlement. All of this happened in a very short time frame and allowed us to skip the court process of which I wasn't looking forward to, even though I had a strong case. I consider Mr. Casola my attorney and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced and competent lawyer.

John was great. I am from out-of-state and he handled everything for me. The thing I liked best about John was that he gave me a very realistic expectation as to what the outcome would likely be given my infraction. No "pie in the sky" promises. He was able to fulfil his promise and although I was not overjoyed, I was ok with the disposition of my case. Apparently going 10 MPH over the speed limit is considered reckelss and a criminal offense in Rockbridge County and could cost you up to $2500!!!. Who knew! John was able to get my "reckless" reduced to a a regular "speeding" and in Virginia, that's huge. I paid $200 in fines and court costs which I was ok with. No points would have been great, but I know he did the best he could given the climate regarding traffic infrations in Rockbridge County.
Also, John's fees were reasonable. I had talked to several other attorneys who quoted me as much as 3x's what John charged and I would be hard pressed to believe they could have gotten a better outcome.

Within the hour, the incredibly helpful office practice manager had secured an attorney who could be available to take the case right away. We did not know Ms. Henderson before, but the way she attended court and expertly and professionally engaged with the judge, prosecution, and officers, showed her ease and skill in that arena. Every authority in uniform in that courtroom was actually happy to see her. She is clearly considered a professional in high regard. I hired Lugar Law of Roanoke, VA on May 4, 2020 to represent me in regards to a speeding ticket I received in Roanoke County. At first I was pleased with their responsiveness and they quoted me a fee of $150.00 for them to represent me, which was considerably cheaper than other law firms that I had spoken to. I paid the fee and sent them a copy of my insurance verification and a copy of the ticket. At Cerid Lugar’s instruction I had my speedometer calibrated and emailed the firm a copy of the results. They in turn sent me an email showing a letter that they sent to a judge, noting that my speedometer was inaccurate. I was content that the matter was being taken care of.
On Friday, May 22, I received a call from the admin at Lugar law stating that they had erred, and that they thought the speeding ticket had been issued in Franklin County instead of Roanoke County. I found this to be a bit incredulous given that they had a copy of the speeding ticket and it states clearly in boldface red letters ROANOKE COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT. The admin advised that since the offence happened in Roanoke County instead of Franklin county, that the fee would be $700 instead of the $150, which I had already paid. I was shocked to say the least. I had spoken to a few other lawyers in the area and the average fee was $360.00 and if Lugar Law had stated that ballpark figure, I would not have been that dumbfounded but an increase of FIVE HUNDRED and FIFTY DOLLARS??? The admin stated she would talk to Cerid Lugar and see if she would consider a compromise given that I had already paid the fee and the ERROR was due to Lugar Law, but she called me back and stated that Cerid Lugar would not lower the fee. At no point did Cerid Lugar call me to offer any detailed explanation or apology. I FIRED the law firm on the spot and demanded a refund, advising I would seek representation elsewhere.
The fact that Lugar Law made such an egregious error and the fact that they were unwilling to acknowledge or accept responsibility for that error speaks volumes to their unprofessionalism. Attorneys are supposed to act in their client’s defense and a lot of trust is placed in them. Having that trust violated is a serious betrayal and what Lugar Law did to me felt like a SHAKEDOWN. If you are considering hiring them, I would advise you to FIND SOMEONE ELSE. Who knows how much they might SQUEEZE you for.

At the end of 2017 I purchased a vehicle and learned a couple months later after having some issues with the vehicle, that the odometer had been rolled back. I called at least 10 attorneys in the area and was told by a few that there was nothing I could do and then by the rest that my case was too complicated to pursue.... Luckily I found Cerid just before I decided to give up. Not only did she get my settled for a fair amount she also showed that my Fair Credit Reporting Rights had been violated and that became part of my settlement. Cerid is a straightforward and honest attorney who doesn't say what you want to hear but rather says what you need to hear. She is an amazing attorney and my family and I are very grateful to have found her! She is also great with communicating the case details! The did far more than I could have hoped. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking an attorney in her area.

Melanie is the lawyer, Donna the paralegal. Files separation and paid then in January, called and left messages and emails, did my end of the paperwork....nothing. .. June and I have paid them for bothe separation and divorce and nothing has been done... divorce was amicable and we had already separated assets and living separate lives for over a year at this point.... it's the end of July and they claim the paperwork is not back to them from my partner... absolutely unprofessional. 2nd time they claim the paperwork was sent back to them when in reality they probably lost it. A disgrace considering the other reviews of this firm are good... at this point I have given them all the money and they have be wrapped jn so they can take their sweet time. At this point I would be happy to have my money back so I can find someone to take care of this.

Ms Geddes took control of the hearing and guided both the judge and I through each and every condition that contributed to my need for SSI.I say it like that, because she knew me literally better than I knew myself!She was highly organized,well spoken and proficient.
