Thomas Fabiano has since then, over the years, represented me in other cases and I have always been very satisfied with the outcome from his dedication to his clients. I feel one of the most important things between lawyer and client is communication. Every time I have ever called the office he has always taken my calls. Never am I told that he is busy, or gone, or I will have him call you back. If he is in the office he comes to the phone. Horrible. Just horrible. We thought we were getting a quality law firm to represent us.
However, it has taken tons of phone calls to them to just to get where we are today in our case. It feels as if as if the case isn't big enough (re: enough money for them). And, so, the case languishes and they our very little effort into resolving it expeditiously.
Seek better help for yourself with a different firm.
I wish we could find. A firm that takes action against firms like this one who are lazy and don't do their job.

Joel defended me in a defamation case which featured additional claims under the Illinois Right of Publicity Act, 765 ILCS 1075/1 and allegations of intentional infliction of emotional distress. He succeeded in getting the case dismissed, and won a ruling that the plaintiff committed which ruling was upheld on appeal.

My son brought a squirt gun to school and got caught with it. I know this is a silly reason to need and attorney. The school board wanted to expel him for one full year for bringing a "weapon" to school. My son should have known better but we felt like a one year expulsion was too extreme. Paul represented us for the school board hearing. While doing some work on the case he discovered that the school district was not protecting my son's rights under the law regarding his 504 plan. Paul made sure everything was done by the book. He also opened up communication with the school board's attorney and got them to agree to a one month suspension that won't go on his record. If you need an educational law attorney, Paul is your guy!! It's obvious that he genuinely cares about his clients and what they are going through. 5 stars, highly recommend! Thanks again Paul!

I have hired attorneys in the past and was left with the feeling that my voice didn't matter. Being charged for the smallest things, even making a single copy and postage to mail a letter, seemed to be more of a priority. I had the exact opposite experience with Ms. Baluch. Attorney Patrick Moore accepted my personal injury case after another law firm (which claimed to specialize in personal injury cases) withdrew from the case. The original law firm had my case for 4 years, and their stated reason for withdrawal was that my medical records did not clearly support the insurance claim, and the case was therefore too complicated. Because the case was 4 years old, no other lawyers wanted to even look at it, but Attorney Moore agreed to review it. He accepted the case without hesitation, and was successful in getting the insurance company to pay on the claim without going to Court. There was no hype or sugar coating. He always responded promptly to my phone calls and emails, and provided updates as developments occurred. My impression is that he takes pride in a job well done and focuses on that rather than just making a quick buck for himself. Thank you Atty. Moore.

Brian Morgan was recommended to me when I had a contract dispute with a Rockford Roofing/Siding Contractor. This contractor did not deliver on services promised. When there was issue with the quality of the work done, the contractor refused to finish the work and demanded payment in full. I sent them a check for the work that was finished, and the contractor used family legal representation and sued me. Brian Morgan gave me a fair estimate at the beginning of the case and then did more work than I expected as the case dragged out completely fulfilling his part of the original agreement. Brian uncovered discrepancies in the contractor’s contract and pointed out multiple instances where the contractor was clearly attempting to defraud me. Brian exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to reach a final settlement. I don’t know if that contractor learned anything about customer service, but Brian clearly understands what it means to deliver top value at a fair cost. Brian has a firm grasp on contract law and made no secret that he does not like dishonest contractors. His actions speak for him.

Brian Morgan is the attorney for you if you need criminal, Dcfs help etc. He is honest and trustworthy and very, very knowledgeable about the law. Being a former assistant State's attorney really helps. He is very kind and will listen to all you have to say. Personally, I would not use hupy and Abraham again. I asked on more than one occasion what my settlement would be and no one would disclose anything to me. I hear most lawyers can at least give an estimate. It was a simple car accident case with minal injuries so probably easy to guess based on previous cases. Ridiculous that I had to wait over a year to finally get the answer. I hated that everything went through a paraprofessional or rep (not sure what their title is) instead of a lawyer. Also, I had to keep following up once my case went to an actual lawyer. No one contacted me for weeks about signing the settlement and no one followed up for months about the check. Apparently someone forgot about my case and never followed through completing it.

From my first phone call to the final decision, Adrian Crow and her team, specifically Lesley, were outstanding. The process of my divorce took 5 months. You will mostly be working with the paralegals which are not friendly at all. It’s an inconvenience if you call or email. Don’t expect fast responses. Absolutely no compassion either. Divorce is a difficult process but you are on your own. I had to remind them of all the demands I had. They even missed a few demands that I had required. I felt like an inconvenience to them. Mason & Tyler are kind. But they need better paralegals. I’m just glad this is over with.

Personally, I would not use hupy and Abraham again. I asked on more than one occasion what my settlement would be and no one would disclose anything to me. I hear most lawyers can at least give an estimate. It was a simple car accident case with minal injuries so probably easy to guess based on previous cases. Ridiculous that I had to wait over a year to finally get the answer. I hated that everything went through a paraprofessional or rep (not sure what their title is) instead of a lawyer. Also, I had to keep following up once my case went to an actual lawyer. No one contacted me for weeks about signing the settlement and no one followed up for months about the check. Apparently someone forgot about my case and never followed through completing it.
