I came to work with Chantel and Justine at GFF&F after I was hit by a vehicle while walking my dog. My dog perished on scene and I was devastated afterwards. While I was healing from 4 broken bones I decided I could not deal with insurance companies and my grief at the same time. I am so glad I found GFF&F - Chantel and her team were so compassionate and understanding. They helped me understand what I needed to do and helped me resolve the case in record time. Jessica was referred to me by a local non-profit that supports domestic violence survivors for her experience in that field. It can be very difficult to communicate your case or make really tough decisions that will impact your life during emotionally complex times, but Jessica was able to make the process something to be navigated, not feared. During the consultation, Jessica took time to assess what my personal goals were after the divorce. The compassion and respect she provided is not something I had experienced in prior attorney-client interactions. My personal goals were honored throughout the case.
Jessica developed strategic approaches to major decision paths and was transparent with possible outcomes of each. She didn't promise me an outcome, rather she helped identify the possible pros and cons of each move (both long and short term). It helped me to come to informed conclusions with how I wanted to proceed.
What is really unique about Jessica is that it's her client's wishes that matter, not what the court wants or what every other case is about. She doesn't fit you into a box; she allows you to see the box, observe the box and make decisions about how you want to exist in that box. The box representing the constraints of the current law. Last year my sister in law was having a hard time because she was going through a divorce. We made appointments with many lawyers to help us and guide us thorough this hard journey. All the lawyers asked us that they charge $5,000 and how are you going to pay me. We were so happy that we found Mr. Ali, out of all the lawyers he was the only one who didn't ask us how are you going to pay me back, instead he gave us a guidance to what we have to do.
To be honest we felt hopeless and without a case, because of what other lawyers said. Just because they thought we couldn't pay them. That's when we found Mr. Ali on google and he has amazing reviews. We never thought that we will get an amazing relive when we were having such a hard time. He provided us with lots of information before anything.
He was not worried about how are we going to pay him but he was more worried about providing us with justice. It was an honor that he guided us and took our case. He was there for us when everyone turn their back on us. He did an amazing work of giving justice to my sister in law and my nephew.
We can still go on and write thousands of more good words for Mr. Ali but these words are still not enough to express my gratitude to Mr. Ali.
We would also like to thank Mr. Karl who has been with me on my hard journey and attended all of my court Cases.
Mr. Ali. and Mr. Karl are amazing and both of them know what they are doing. We just needed to close our eyes and trust them. They took all our burden and put it on their shoulder.
Last thing but not the least thing is that we hope that no body goes thought the pain and suffering of divorce but if you go through it than just close your eyes and let Mr. Ali take care of everything.

We had a great experience working with Mr. Liao. He was so knowledgeable and try to accommodate us at a time that we requested. When my mom and I had into car accident, my husband contacted his office and got us an appointment to speak with Mr. Liao. He listened to us with no rush. Process our insurance claim and guide us every step. Even prepared us before our deposition. Our claims got settled but since we didn't really get much with insurance he even waived attorneys fee. He is a great lawyer and always there to help. Will definitely refer Mr. Liao.

After reading many positive reviews, I connected with Allister after my mother was hit by a San Mateo Recology garbage truck. The truck completely totaled her car and left her traumatized.
My mother is a non-native English speaker and was hesitant to take legal action. Allister also speaks Mandarin, so I encouraged them to meet. He is not only knowledgeable, but compassionate. Over the course of 2+ years, Allister walked her through the process and what to expect.

First off Allister is awesome! I came to Allister about the time my statute of limitations was running out and he quickly jumped into action to make sure everything was filed before the date. I called Mr Frye after my wife had passed away and Prudential was denying accidental benefits. John listened to my case over the phone, after aggreeing to represent me, handled everything from there. It took a couple months, however in the end, Prudential reversed there decision. John and his staff kept me informed with the process along the way, handled everything from the day he took over, with the exception of a couple things I handeled locally, which was given to me as an option and helped to lower my costs and expedite things. I have already recommended Mr Frye to a friend for help with a similiar case and would without reserve recommend him to anybody. He came highly recommended as an expert in these type cases, and I believe he demonstrated this personally.

I hired Matt Metzger in a bankruptcy case where I was the creditor. He usually works on the behalf of the debtor. The debtor cheated myself and 49 other creditors, then fled to bankruptcy court to escape her debt. So this was a different case for Matt who normally works for the other side, but could be an advantage since he would know their usual strategy.
Matt is an energetic, hard working, and innovative attorney. To say that he is a multitasker underestimates all that's going on in his head. He is good at looking for and finding "out of the box" solutions to legal problems. His persistence and diligent hard work ultimately pays off. I only had one issue with Matt, he wanted me to settle at a sum that I felt was insulting and ridiculous so I refused. The debtor ultimately came up to my sum and we settled. I would recommend Matt to anyone who needs legal assistance in the realm of bankruptcy. I don't think you will find a better or harder working attorney. BTW, he appears to have a solo practice, unusual these days but seems to fit his lifestyle.

In a day and age when qualified, ethical, experienced, fairly-priced, communicative attorneys are as rare as a Sumatran rhino, along comes Desmond Tuck. I have been working with Mr. Tuck for over 20 years on various issues, most notably matters involving real estate. Without delving into details, I can safely say that you will be unlikely to find anyone better if you tried. He knows the law, but he also knows how to make it work to your advantage. Most importantly, he will never tell you what you want to hear just so you hire him. If you want a lawyer to sugar-coat and tell you things to make you feel nice (when they are undeserved), he is not the one for you. If, on the other hand, you want to receive help that is based on reality and in the context of our disastrously dysfunctional California legal system, Mr. Tuck is the only one I would count on. Knowing how to navigate the system in a logical, rationale, and informed manner is one of his biggest (of many) strengths. As far as trust is concerned, I know that is a concern of many when it comes to lawyers in general. So, imagine a world where you were 100% sure your lawyer was expertly looking out for your best interest without doing it all just to keep the meter running. Sound too good to be true? You haven’t called Mr. Tuck yet. After all this time being his client, I trust him more than some in my own family. I'm a bay area real estate broker/agent. I've referred Carmen to a few of my clients. All of which would tell me she would never return their calls or they could never connect with her. Should have learned then but instead I decided I should give her a try myself for my estate planning documents especially since we had done some events together. Never did I think my estate planning documents would take over a year to complete.
I signed our engagement letter 6/3/22, the first payment link was sent to me on 6/4/22 (quick turnaround). I had an in-person meeting with her on 7/28/22 after rescheduling on my end a few times due to personal reasons. Soon after I provided all of my documents to her and we scheduled a follow up meeting for 9/22/22.
I didn’t hear anything back from her until 11/14/22, with another payment link for another service she provided. At that moment I inquired about finalizing my trust documents, her office told me they were going to mail them to me the following week. One month goes by and I inquire again on 12/6/22. She claims she is onboarding new team members and has been understaffed. On 12/20/22 I ask her if she was able to find an attorney out of state to put my properties in the trust. She claimed she did and that she would have the deeds ready the following week. January came and went and zero communication from her or her office. I inquired again on 2/3/23 - following up on the mobile notary to sign & finalize trust documents. Another person in her office responds back and I finally get a mobile notary scheduled for 2/9/23. I assumed this was it and I was just waiting around for my executed county stamped documents to get mailed back to me. Well June comes around and I still haven’t received anything back. I inquire again on 6/6/23. She says she is checking with her assistant. No communication again until I inquire again on 6/27/23. One property was finally taken care of and confirmed received by the county on 7/11/23. The other property was finally taken care of in late Sept 2023.
My frustration is the lack of customer service/communication. I understand small businesses tend to get understaffed or are going through business changes but if my services are paid for and I have to constantly be contacting you for an update and most of the time you don’t respond, then there is something wrong! This tells me this business doesn’t value its clients. Posting this review now in case this will help others determine whether to use her services or not. I also know other small businesses that have used her & have had a similar or worser experience so that tells me I’m not the only one.

Ms. Cirlin seemed competent at first. My case was not difficult but she neglected to review the details and performed horribly. My (ex) wife hired a savvy attorney and Ms. Cirlin was not in the same league. She failed to anticipate issues and therefore failed in the negotiations. I don't recommend hiring her. I read the reviews and thought she was a good attorney, but after I paid her a lot of money she did nothing for me. If I represented myself I could have done a better job.

My case was a little bit odd to some extend. I have been divorced for over 10 years. Me and my ex wife agreed by signing a contract that she won't collect spousal support since she took everything from the house, and from the sale of the house.
But, she came back demanding spousal support.
I'm so blessed that I found Lauren and her wonderful team. She is an awesome human being apart from an excellent lawyer who is always prepared.
The judge denied my ex wife's request.

Worst Experiencd EVER! Rather than tell me they don't handle enough of my cases to help-they eluded that I just didn't have a case. He vaguely answered my questions and concerns. I was pretty much told to do all their work for them before they could represent me and take a cut. I've since found another lawyer that is more informative and knowledgable.
