Man of his Word
Mr Steve Matz helped me ( Daniel Fitch ) 12 years ago when I was struck while riding my motorcycle. He always said after our victorious case was completed, that if l ever needed help, don't hesitate to call him, that he would help me, well years later, my home insurance didn't want to pay for all the items that were destroyed by a lightning strike. I didn't feel that was fair, so I called Steve, and the first words out of his mouth were, "I told you I would always help you". He helped me without charging me a single cent. He got involved, and the insurance company paid another 5 thousand dollars for items that they had directly told me that they would not pay for. I have so much Respect for Steve as a Lawyer, and as a Human Being. He is a great Soul who Truly believes that he has an obligation to Help People,and that's what he does. Words cannot express how grateful, and proud I feel to know him.

The title says it all. From the first phone call to the settlement, Lloyd Pont and his staff have been with us through the post accident ordeal, using the court when the insurance company refused to settle. When our father died the will he left was contested by a family member. With no money for a lawyer my brother and I were forced to go it alone in court. I called Johnny asking for any advise he could give, he went above and beyond! We spoke multiple times and he gave us key insights into the law around our case and how to behave at trial. Without him I don't think we would be near this prepared for our upcoming court date. It is nice to know there are people who do this job because they genuinely want to help others. I hired Randy to handle a wrongful death case as he was referred to me. Best decision ever!! I was in a motorcycle accident in Florida with my boyfriend that was driving the motorcycle. I lady pulled out in front of us from a side road. We were unable to stop and she hit us. I went over the front of her car and my boyfriend was thrown from the bike. I broke my right arm, I have a plate and ten screws in it and spent three days in the hospital. He broke his leg, ribs, and face & internal injuries, he has double vision in his eye that will never get better. He had two surgeries on his leg and has a rod in it. He spent three weeks in the hospital. I called Mr. Buckfire's office and he started the paper work before we even left the hospital. We had Mr. George Burke as our lawyer and he was great. If we had any questions we could call him and he would help us right away we never had to wait. Our claim was settled in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend him.

Matthew Curtis was recommended to me and after the initial consultation with him, I knew that I didn’t need to look any further for an attorney. I would like to say my case was as easy as pulling a rabbit out of a hat, but on the contrary, I had a very difficult case. My wife and were leisurely riding our motorcycle with my brother and sister in-law on their bike. An individual in a car crossed the centerline on a 2 lane country road, and put all four of us in the hospital. My wife got the worst of it. She was flown to the hospital and nearly died. She is now a quad with an amputated leg. Our family contacted Jason and he took care of all our needs, and has been helping us for the past 12 plus years as needed. I was injured in a car accident caused by an uninsured driver. While sitting at a red light, waiting to turn left, the driver wasn't paying any attention and plowed into the rearend of my car. It was a severe accident, totalling my vehicle and leaving me unconscious. When I came-to, I was being attended to by emergency medical providers and the police were there. I had no recollection of what happened. I was confused about what was going on and people were asking me questions that I could answer. Let me tell you, when that happens to you, the anxiety and worry starts immediately. I was in intense pain from my neck and shoulder for many months and my medical bills were adding up. I could not work for quite awhile, but as a self-employed person I had to figure out how to get my work done. Compounding all of this was the fact that the other driver had no insurance. I call Jason Waechter, whom a friend of mine said was the guy to talk to about car accidents and uninsured drivers. I'm glad I did, because my own insurance company was doing everything they could to get out of paying. You would be shocked at the lengths insurance companies will go to in order to stick it to you when you need them. Jason wouldn't let that happen. In Michigan, when you're in a car accident and the other driver doesn't have insurance, you have to go to your own insurance company for compensation. It's how Michigan no-fault works (make sure you are properly covered in case of uninsured motorist accident). My own aut insurance company did not want to pay anything but the absolute minimum they could get away with, forcing us to bring a lawsuit against them. Believe me, you want Jason on your side if you ever have to do a lawsuit against your insurance company. While they made ridiculously low offers, Jason was putting together a real case. He tried to settle with them several times, but they continued to balk. When we went in for our pretrial conference, and he discussed his case with them, the insurance company lawyers all of a sudden changed their minds. Jason held them to the grindstone, he came out with a settlement that was tens of thousands of dollars more than his previous offers of settlement. I was very pleased with his methodical work, his communications, and his ability to reason with the parties involved. I even more pleased that he was able to get me the compensation I needed. Mr. Paulovich handled a very serious criminal matter I was faced with. He took a very methodical approach and performed independent research to establish multiple defenses to the charges against me. I was extremely nervous about the potential consequences, but I was reassured at every juncture that I had the very best defense that could be presented. This is not an attorney that will leave you in the dark on how your case is going. When I called his office, if he was not available to speak at that time he would call me later that day (although on occasion it was after usual hours). His work product really spoke for itself on my case because he achieved an amazing result. The prosecution greatly reduced their charges against me, and then the probation department recommended the bare minimum in sentencing. The Judge actually commented on the record that the reduction by the prosecutors and probation department was far too lenient, and Mr. Paulovich gave an amazing speech to the Judge to reassure him that it was completely appropriate. Mr. Paulovich has my utmost respect and gratitude and I would highly recommend him.

I cannot thank Mr. Paulovich enough for his efforts he put forth in my injury case. I got into a bad car accident that left me with a fractured spine. I was on my way to work when a SUV t-boned me. Mr. Paulovich made me feel comfortable and actually cared about my injury rather than just wanting to make money off of my case right away. He went above and beyond with helping me. He made sure I was getting the right treatments for my back. I wasn't able to work my office job for awhile until I got better. Mr. Paulovich made sure that I receive a wage loss check for the time that I was out of work. He was even there for me when I had to go to court for a traffic violation. For the injury case, I had decided to settle instead of go to trial. Mr. Paulovich managed to get me the most money that was possible with my injury case. He's caring and knows what he's doing. He's not one of those lawyers that will keep you waiting for a response. If I called him, he would call me back the same day. I can't thank him enough for what he did for me. Mr. Stern represented my family in a lawsuit against the insurance company of a driver that killed our 3 year old son. This was a very difficult time for me and my family and Mr. Stern was sympathetic, reliable, trustworthy, and also discovered that our policy included coverage for the incident.
