My experience was not good with Chris Kennedy. When I first met him he seemed to be on top of things but then I paid $3500 for him to tell me he couldn't find the father of my child to go to court. So court never happened and he kept all of my money.

These people are the most shady people that I have dealt with business wise. I was told to call on a Monday to give an address to mail my check to and it would be sent right out. Called gave the address and was told that the check would not be signed until the weekend by Amanda. Two weeks later I still have not received my check. I do not recommend Patrick Anderson for a divorce or custody case. Maybe he’s a decent criminal defense guy? But when it comes to family law, his team is completely incompetent. If Patrick tells you to use Samantha Adair as a guardian ad litem, don’t do it. They went to law school together and they will use your child as a pawn to force an unfair mediation settlement. Patrick’s team forgot to send opposing counsel my discovery documents and because of their error, I was charged with contempt. Then Patrick went to court and agreed to a continuance without my consent. Using this attorney for my custody battle will always be one of my biggest regrets.

I had a great experience working with Anderson & Moore, LLC on a speeding ticket. I think my case was pretty straightforward or thats how Dianna, the receptionist, made it feel, she made the entire process so easy and stress-free.
Dianna was super understanding and worked closely with the attorney team to handle everything on my behalf. She kept me updated every step of the way and was always quick to respond to my questions. Even when she was out sick for a bit, she got back to me with updates as soon as she returned to the office. Also despite some issues their office was dealing with, they made sure everything ran smoothly without missing a beat.

Back in May of this year I was arrested for a criminal offense and of course not being from here I didn’t know where to turn. Thank you to Anderson & Moore everything was handled efficiently and thoroughly through them. I didn’t have to go to court due to my lawyer Patrick handling everything for me. He was able to get my criminal offense expunged off my record and changed to a traffic ticket. They are truly the best.

John Holland was great from the beginning. With him being my 3rd lawyer on my case. Needless to say future lawyers, at the time of contact, weren't to interested in taking a case two other lawyers have been removed, fired, from. John listened to what I had to say and the problems I was having with previous lawyers. He was the only lawyer that "didn't" tell me, right from the start, "Oh, a father getting full custody of his young child is NOT likely to happen in the State of SC. " But of course they would do all they could and take my case. Leading absolutely no where. Then I met John Holland. I honestly don't believe he believed much of what I had to say. After all, I had already gone through 2 attorneys. He was straight up and let me know that if what I was telling him was on the up and up he would take the case. As time went by it was obvious that what I had been saying was true. John gave me the benefit of the doubt and worked extremely hard on my case. Never once mentioning in "SC Father's don't get custody". Well I'm hear to tell all the Father's out there, don't buy into the hype. Great lawyers can achieve great things. Took 6 years total. The last couple years with John fighting for me. As of July 29, 2022 I am happy to say I have full custody of my son. If your a Father that believes you should have custody of your children then fight for that. If you decide to fight, especially in SC, than you'll need a great attorney. John Holland is your man. If you don't give up than John won't either.

Rachel Brough, her paralegals, Joan and Stephanie, and her entire staff are top notch. Throughout my divorce and custody case, Rachel gave me her undivided attention. I first met William roughly 6 years ago - when your 6 year old child speaks of moving to another country with his mother (my ex-wife) one must move quickly. Bill dropped everything for me and moved swiftly to prevent the move from taking place (notifying Colombian officials, the State Department, even bringing in the FBI when we were denied an emergency hearing). That issue has since been resolved, but this has been an ongoing battle for me, and Bill has been there every step of the way. There is no win-win in family court (especially in Greenville), but Bill has done the absolute best for me and my son - he has been a confidant, a counselor, a guide through these rough times (anyone who has been through a nasty divorce can relate) and most of all, a good friend. I'll never step foot in a courtroom without Bill by my side.

Circling back for an update on my previous review. I stated that I ended up taking my case to a different law firm, who I felt was more equipped to handle my case. I’m leaving another review because when I first signed my contract with David, he stated that I could fire him or vice versa AT ANY TIME throughout my case at no charge. I ended up doing just that. BUT, my new attorney had to follow up with David for some documents on my case that I did not have and David ended up stating that he needed to be compensated for the progress and work that he made on my case. I found that to be very odd, as there was no progress on my case from the moment he took it up until the day I fired him as my attorney. Once my new attorney informed me of this, I contacted David’s office requesting the document I signed stating that we could fire one another at no cost and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. It was a lot of misrepresentation while I worked with David and a bunch of lies were told. Not to discredit his work but I was not pleased at all. My new attorney took my case, and got it settled within months and David demanded to be paid for absolutely nothing. He definitely left a bad taste in my mouth after dealing with him. Clearly just money hungry and wanted money for a case that he did no work on. Like I said, I would go months and months without hearing from him. I was always the one who initiated contact while he “worked” on my case. David took on my case in August 2022 and by the time I fired him in July 2023 we had gotten nowhere. It was like my new attorney had to start from scratch and STILL was able to get it settled less than 6 months. David had not sent out a demand letter or anything to that nature to the at fault party, but lied and said he did to my new attorney. When proof of that was requested, we never got anything. My new attorney even stated all David did was send choppy emails to the at fault party not really demanding anything. So what did I pay David a portion of my settlement for? Idk, definitely wouldn’t recommend for a personal injury case from a car accident. If you can, take your case to another law firm.
